Cuando menos te lo esperas, va la vida y te sorprende. Frase de una de mis canciones favoritas y verdad verdadera.

Esta es una de las cosas que más me gusta de mi vida, que aunque estoy apunto de cumplir 31 años siguen ocurriendo cosas, llegando personas, que me sorprenden para bien y que me hacen muy feliz. Esto es mi energía y ganas de seguir cada día con más fuerzas.

No puedo estar más contenta, ilusionada, agradecida y orgullosa por el shooting tan especial que tuve ayer. Soy la nueva embajadora de Intimissimi como ya sabréis la mayoría. Es una marca que me gusta desde siempre porque opino que la ropa es muy elegante y sexy a la vez y que hay variedad para todos los gustos. Además como os he comentado en varias de mis fotos les agradezco que me hayan dado esta oportunidad para poder acercar más la moda a la gente real. Yo no soy modelo, no soy muy alta ni muy guapa, pero tampoco quiero serlo. Soy una mujer normal que me gusta hacer mi trabajo bien y simplemente os enseño cada día por aquí y por mis redes sociales todo lo que hago y los productos o ropa que uso como fuente de inspiración o ayuda cuando no sepáis qué poneros, a dónde viajar, cuando tengáis dudas entre un producto u otro… Y como todas las personas tengo defectos y virtudes, al igual que mis complejos. Todos tenemos nuestros complejos y debilidades pero tenemos que aprender a vivir con ellos como una parte más de nosotros mismos, y sin darles mayor importancia. Quererse a uno mismo antes de querer a nadie más es lo más importante y en lo que estoy trabajando yo desde hace algún tiempo… Con esto te haces más fuerte y menos vulnerable, lo que también desemboca en que seamos más felices.

Me encantaron estos jeans en cuanto los vi en la web porque aparte de que el estilo mom es uno de mis favoritos porque son de cintura alta pero de pitillo por abajo, las flores bordadas y los rotos me parecen unos detalles únicos. Decidí combinarlos con una camiseta blanca y una de mis cazadoras vaqueras con parches por encima. En esta ocasión me decanté por tacones en vez de zapatillas porque estos justo combinan perfectamente con los colores de las flores y rotos y además también me hacen más alta cuando llevo este tipo de pantalones.

Me voy a coger el vuelo a París, ¡nos vemos allí mañana!

This is one of the things that I like the most in my life, that although I am about to turn 31 years old unexpected things still happen to me, new people arrive to my life, and they all surprise me for good and that make me very happy. This is my energy and my strength to keep on working every day.

I can not be more happy, excited, grateful and proud for the special shooting I had yesterday. I am the new Intimissimi ambassador as many of you might know. It is a brand that I have always liked because I think that the clothes are very elegant and sexy at the same time and that there is variety for all women. Also as I have said in some of my photos I thank you for giving me this opportunity to bring fashion closer to the real people. I’m not a model, I’m not very tall or very pretty, but I do not want to be that all either. I am a normal woman who likes to do her job well and I simply show you every day around here and through my social networks everything I do and the products or clothes I use as a source of inspiration or help when you do not know what to wear, where to travel , when you have doubts between one product or another… And like all people I have defects and virtues, as well as my complexes. We all have our complexes and weaknesses but we have to learn to live with them as a part of ourselves, and without giving them more importance. To love yourself first before loving anyone else is the most important thing and it is what I’ve been working on since some months ago… With this you become stronger and less vulnerable, which also makes you happier.

I loved these jeans as soon as I saw them on the website because apart from that mom style is one of my favorites because they are high waist but skinny, the embroidered flowers and the ripped style are unique details to me. I decided to combine them with a white t-shirt and one of my denim jackets over with patches on top. On this occasion I opted for wearing heels instead of sneakers because these just combine perfectly with the colors of the flowers and they also make me taller when I wear this kind of pants.

And now I’m going to catch my flight to Paris, see you there tomorrow!

¡Buenos días y arrancamos la semana con mucha energía!

Después de la semana pasada llena de nuevos proyectos y grabaciones, esta promete ser parecida. Ahora me voy a un shooting muy especial para una nueva campaña con una marca que me encanta y os enseñaré un pequeño adelanto en mi Stories, ¡deseadme suerte! Y mañana viajaré a París para la Fashion Week, estoy deseando llegar y enseñaros los looks que he escogido para esta semana. Ya sabéis que para las semanas de la moda se viste siempre de una forma mucho más atrevida y extravagante… así que no os asustéis… haha. Además estoy deseando reunirme con varios amigos allí que hace tiempo que no veo.

¿Qué opináis de la tendencia de salir a la calle con camisas estilo pijama? A mí esta me encantó porque combina mis dos colores favoritos a la hora de vestir, blanco y negro, y además es en un tejido sedoso muy cómodo y fresco. La combiné con shorts negros debajo y mis tacones negros con tachuelas plateadas, por eso escogí también accesorios en negro y plateado.

Beverly Hills es de las zonas más conocidas de los Angeles ya que es donde se encuentran las mansiones más grandes y donde viven muchas de las celebrities más reconocidas a nivel internacional. Hay una tienda de decoración en frente de Urth Café, uno de mis cafés favoritos de LA, que tiene unas vistas preciosas en la azotea a estas colinas. Y no fue tan fácil como parece ponerse en medio de esta carretera tan concurrida para hacer estas fotos… ¡pero lo conseguí!

Y las primeras fotos las hice muy cerca, en Rodeo Drive, que es la calle más conocida de tiendas de lujo.

Good morning and let’s start a new week with a lot of energy and good vibes!

After my last week full of new projects and filming, this new one promises to be similar. I’m going right now to a very special shooting for a new campaign with a brand that I love and I’ll show you a little preview on my Stories, wish me luck! And tomorrow I will travel to Paris for the Fashion Week, I am looking forward to show you the looks that I have chosen for this week. You know that for the fashion week people always dress so much more daring and extravagant… a little bit of freak maybe too… haha. I also look forward to meet some friends that will be there and that I have not seen since many months ago.

What do you think about pijama’s shirts trend? I loved this one because it combines my two favorite colors when dressing: black and white, and it’s also in a very comfortable and cool silky fabric. I combined it with black shorts underneath and my black heels with silver studs, so I also chose black and silver accessories.

Beverly Hills is one of the best known areas of Los Angeles as it is where the biggest and coolest mansions are located and where many of the most internationally renowned celebrities live. There is a deco shop just in front of Urth Cafe, one of my favorite LA cafes, which has a lovely rooftop with amazing views to these hills. And it was not as easy as it seems to get into the middle of this busy road to make these photos… but I got it!

And I took this first pics at Rodeo Drive, the street full of luxury stores.

¡VIERNES!

He conseguido superar esta súper semana, no se cómo, pero por fin llegó el viernes.

Ayer fue un día bastante largo de trabajo, pero me lo pasé genial y cerré proyectos que estoy deseando contaros. Por la mañana tuvimos 3 reuniones para acciones que pronto veréis. Después entrevisté al grupo Taburete para mi canal de Youtube, que es por lo que más me estáis preguntando todos. El domingo estará la entrevista completa en mi canal MARTACARRIEDO.TV . ¡Os va a encantar! Después les entrevisté también para Non Stop People, en mi sección de la vida de un influencer. Por último fui a la presentación del nuevo disco de Sara Serena, “Skyline”, que menuda voz que tiene con sólo 18 años.

Así que después de una semana así hoy he decidido tomarme un día de “descanso” y aunque trabajaré por la tarde ahora me voy a ir a hacerme la manicura y pedicura como siempre en My Little Momo, donde mejor me cuidan, para llevarla perfecta para la Fashion Week de París la semana que viene. Después tengo cita por fin en Sam See, el centro donde voy siempre a darme masajes para recuperarme del estrés diario, y estoy deseando llegar y que me “arreglen” la espalda. ¡Qué gusto!

Y me despido con otro de mis looks y fotos de mi barrio en Los Angeles: West Hollywood, más conocido coloquialmente como “We Ho” (por aquello de abreviar las palabras). Es una zona muy tranquila y segura como ya os he comentado en otras ocasiones donde podéis ver que las casas son ideales con pequeños porches y luego jardines traseros. Me encantan las casas pintadas de varios colores, los columpios en el porche, los coches antiguos…

Llevo jeans estilo boyfriend con camisa de rayas y volantes que me voy a poner bastante, es muy de mi estilo. Sandalias, que allí las temperaturas ya lo permiten, y mi bolso multicolor a juego.

FRIDAY!

I can’t believe I finally managed to overcome this super long week for me, but finally it is here, Friyay!

Yesterday was a pretty long day of work, but I had a great time and signed projects that I’m looking forward to tell you and show you. In the morning we had 3 meetings for actions that you will soon discover. Then I interviewed the music group “Taburete” for my Youtube channel, which is why most you are asking me about. On Sunday afternoon you will have the complete interview on my TV channel MARTACARRIEDO.TV. You’ll love it! Then I also interviewed them for Non Stop People tv channel, in my section of an influencer’s lifestyle. Finally I went to the presentation of Sara Serena’s new album, “Skyline”, which has a fab voice with only 18 years old.

So after a week like this today I decided to take a day of “rest” and although I will work in the afternoon now I’m going to go to do my manicure and pedicure as always at My Little Momo, where they better take care of me, to have it perfect for The Fashion Week in Paris next week. Then I finally have a date at Sam See, the center where I always go to have the best massages to recover from the daily stress, and I’m looking forward to getting my back “fixed”. What a pleasure!

And here you have another of my looks and photos of my neighborhood in Los Angeles: West Hollywood, better known as “We Ho” (to shorten the words). It is a very quiet and safe area as I have told you in other occasions where you can see that lovely the houses with small porches and also back gardens. I love painted houses in different colors, swings at the entrance, old cars…

I wear boyfriend style jeans with a striped shirt that I’m going to wear a lot because it’s very much my style. Sandals, because there in LA the temperatures already allow it, and my matching multicolored bag.

¡Buenos días familia!

Menudo día el de ayer… después de lo poco que dormí estuve varias horas en una grabación aunque lo cierto es que fue divertida, os lo enseñaré todo en cuanto lo tenga. Después vino una revista de Bélgica a entrevistarme, Ils, la chica que vino, encantadora. Ya la visteis en algunos de mis Stories. Por último fui a devolverle la vida a mi pelo a Tacha Beauty, con Anabel como siempre. Mi pelo genial lleno de brillo y con un color precioso, pero menuda tarde que pasamos…

Y digo esto porque por mucho que lo piense o que me lo intenten explicar no entiendo ni voy a entender nunca la gente que es mala, que hace el mal a los demás deliberadamente. El caso es que he me pensado si contároslo o no porque no le quiero dar mayor importancia ahora, pero os lo cuento porque sois como mi familia virtual y me gusta compartir con vosotros todo lo que me pasa. El caso es que me ‘hackearon’ mi cuenta de Instagram. Sí sí, como lo leéis. Fue durante casi una hora que se me hizo eterna. En mi Instagram, como mucha gente de todo el mundo, invierto muchas horas de trabajo y esfuerzo, y me parece injusto que haya gente que salte todas las medidas de seguridad que en mi caso tenía activadas y que se crean por encima de los demás para intentar “hacerte daño”. Porque es eso lo que buscan, no hay otra explicación. Evidentemente el equipo de Instagram me ayudó rápidamente a recuperar mi cuenta… En fin, se que son gajes del oficio y que no es ni mucho menos nada tan grave, pero lo que me da pena es que haya gente así que no respete ni valore a los demás. Pena.

Último post desde San Francisco. Otra de las zonas de obligatoria visita en esta ciudad es la zona de los embarcaderos. Es un bonito paseo hasta llegar al Pier 39 que es el más concurrido lleno de restaurantes y tiendas. Podría tirarme horas sentada en estos bancos mirando las olas ir y venir y viviendo en”Martilandia”, donde me dicen mis amigos que vivo yo, y donde no hay mal royo, gente mala, peleas, mentiras… sino que todo es buena energía y alegría. Os invito a pasaros cuando queráis hehe.

Y hoy vuelvo a tener varias reuniones importantes ya que como sabéis sólo voy a estar esta semana en Madrid así que tengo los días bastante completos… Deseadme suerte.

Good morning family!

What a day that yesterday… after having slept just 2/3 hours I spent the whole morning filming a new project although the truth is that it was really fun, I’ll show you everything as soon as I have it. Then I came home as I was having an interview for the Belgium magazine: Matuvu, Ils, the girl who came to interview me, was so lovely and I just can’t wait to show it to you. It’s going to be April issue but I shared with you some info on my Stories. Finally I went to give the live back to my hair at Tacha Beauty, with my babe Anabel Gornés like always. My brilliant hair full of shine and a lovely color, but you don’t know what happened…

And I want to tell you this because no matter what they think or how many times they try to explain to me I do not understand now and never will why people are so bad, why they want to hurt others deliberately. The fact is that I have thought whether to tell you or not because I do not want to give more importance to this issue now, but I tell you because you are like my virtual family and I like to share with you everything that happens to me. So I they ‘hacked’, stole, my Instagram account yesterday afternoon. It was for almost an hour that became eternal. At it hasn’t only happen to me but to other blogger friends too. I can’t believe that people spend their time doing this kind of things. On my Instagram, like many people around the world, I invest many hours of work and effort, and it seems to me unfair that there are people who skip all the security measures and in my case I had activated the double security level, and they pass over all of us to “try to hurt you”, but in fact they didn’t. What they are looking for? I can’t find an explanation. Obviously the Instagram team helped me quickly to recover my account… But anyway, I know that these are the kind of things I have “to face” because of my work and of course is nothing compare to the real problems of other people, but what makes me feel sad is that there are people that do not respect or value others.

Last post from San Francisco. Another place of mandatory visit in this city is the area of the piers. It is a nice walk until Pier 39 which is the coolest full of restaurants and shops. I could spend hours sitting on these benches looking at the waves come and go and living in “Martilandia”, where my friends tell me always that I usually live, and where there is no bad mood, bad people, fights, lies… everything is good energy and positive vibes. I invite you to stop by whenever you want lol.

And today I have other important meetings since as you know I will only be in Madrid this week so I have very busy and complete days… Wish me luck!

But first tea

¡Buenos días!

Ya me extrañaba a mí haber podido dormir tan “felizmente” ayer… estaba claro que el jet lag iba a hacer de las suyas tarde o temprano y hoy he dormido apenas 3 horas… ¡me muero de sueño! pero toca día largo de grabaciones y por la tarde por fin a cuidar mi pelo con Anabel en Tacha. No sabéis lo que estropea el pelo el agua de Los Angeles, porque tiene muchísima cal y de hecho no se recomienda ni beber del grifo. Así que necesito un tratamiento urgente de brillo y color, ¡SOS!

Os sigo enseñando más fotos del divertido shooting que hice con Ragdoll y Lisa, su dueña, en la foto conmigo. Cuando más realizada me siento con mi trabajo es cuando puedo ser literalmente yo misma al 100%. Como veis en estas fotos este es el caso. Riéndome, bailando, cantando… y por eso los resultados son tan buenos. Aunque he de decir que también me gusta cuando su marido me pide que me ponga más seria royo “pose de modelo de verdad” porque es algo como un reto para mí: ¿yo? ¿seria? pero bueno, creo que más o menos lo he conseguido ¿no? haha.

Y qué cómodo es poder ir por la vida en pantalones tipo chandal… esta es una de las tendencias que más define y defiende Ragdoll. Poder llevar este tipo de pantalones a diario que como veis no quedan nada mal. son fáciles de combinar con cualquier cosa y es un paso más hacia ese estilo casual y sencillo que tanto se lleva en LA. Me encanta. Hoy llevo conjunto completo de pantalón blanco y sudadera, con camiseta gris debajo con volantes. La misma que Lisa pero ella en negra.

Comenzamos el shooting en la tienda de Ragdoll en la calle Tercera y las terminamos en el típico sitio de té de obligatoria visita: Alfred Tea Room.

Me voy corriendo a ver cómo consigo sacar adelante el día hehe.

Good Morning guys!

I was really surprised to have been able to sleep so “happily” yesterday… it was a fact that jet lag was going to do their job sooner or later and today I have slept only 3 hours… I’m dying of sleep! But I have a really long day of filming and in the evening I will finally go to take care of my hair with Anabel at Tacha Beauty Center. The best center in Madrid. You do not how the water in Los Angeles can damage your hair, because it has a lot of lime and in fact it is not recommended to drink tap water. So I need an urgent treatment of brightness and color for my hair, SOS!

I continue showing you more photos of the funny shooting I did with Ragdoll and Lisa, the owner, in the photo with me. When I feel more fulfilled with my work is when I can literally be 100% myself. As you can see on these photos this is a good example. Laughing, dancing, singing… and that’s why the results are so good. Although I have to say that I also like when her husband asks me to put myself more serious like “posing like a real model” because it is something like a challenge for me: me? serious? really? lol. But hey, I think I pretty much got it, right? Hahaha.

And how comfortable it is to be able to go with sweatpants all day long… this is one of the trends that more defines and defends Ragdoll. To be able to wear this kind of trousers daily that as you can see are not bad at all. They are easy to combine with anything and is a step closer to that casual and simple style that defines LA. I love it. Today I’m wearing a full set of white sweatpants and sweatshirt, with gray long sleeves t-shirt with ruffles underneath. The same as Lisa but she in black.

We started this shooting at Ragdoll’s store and then went to one of my fav places and locations: Alfred Tea Room. Mandatory stop.

I’m leaving now to see how I can handle my day…

Alcatraz

¡BUENOS DÍAS MADRID!

Por mucho que me encante viajar, por mucho que me encante mi trabajo, por mucho que eche de menos a mis amigos y mi vida en Los Angeles… siempre me encanta volver a casa. ¡Qué felicidad!

Me recogieron anoche mi hermana y mi madre en el aeropuerto y nos vinimos a mi casa a empezar a deshacer maletas y de ‘charleta’, mucho que contar después de 2 meses.

Me acosté sobre las 2am por el jet lag y me he despertado a las 7am, pero como una rosa, menos mal, así que ¡a tope con el Lunes!

Hoy os enseño las fotos y el interior de la cárcel de Alcatraz, en San Francisco, y el vídeo lo tendréis este miércoles. La verdad es que es impresionante pensar en la de cosas que se debieron vivir entre estas 4 paredes, con los más malos de entre los malos. Y en el vídeo os contaré muchos más detalles.

Como puse en la foto que compartí en mi Instagram: “todo acto tiene sus consecuencias, ya sean positivas o negativas. Así que antes de actuar asegurémonos de que estamos preparados para ellas”. Y bien cierto es. La libertad es el regalo más importante que se nos ha dado (que Dios nos ha dado a todos) y nosotros somos libres de actuar e interpretarla como queramos. Eso sí, como os digo siempre desde el respeto y el amor al prójimo. Esta es la mejor forma de disfrutar de nuestra libertad.

Y yo me he vuelto a despertar hoy feliz, como os he dicho al principio. Feliz por la suerte que tenemos la mayoría de nosotros de poder tener salud, una casa, un trabajo. Feliz porque hace un día precioso hoy en Madrid. Feliz porque me encanta mi trabajo y me encanta haber madrugado para editar estas fotos y escribir este post. Feliz por teneros a todos vosotros de una forma u otra en mi vida.

Y me despido contadoos mi experiencia de anoche. En el último vuelo de Londres a Madrid, que casi lo pierdo porque el aeropuerto de Heathrow es mortal, conocí a una familia impresionante. No puedo negar que me dieron envidia sana. Pilar es la súper mami de 8 niños, 5 chicas y 3 chicos, maravillosos. Además ella es profe en un colegio de Majadahonda cuando la última niña tiene apenas 1 año, ¡ole!. Me encantó ver cómo se llevaban todos de bien, cómo obedecían, y cómo todo en la vida se reduce a lo de siempre: querer es poder. Me hizo especial ilusión ya que se que sus alumnas me siguen mucho por lo que me comentó y también se que Pilar, la hija mayor, es muy seguidora también. Me encanta conocer a gente así de alegre y positiva, son casos de inspiración y motivación para mí.

Les mando un besazo desde aquí igual que a todos vosotros.

GOOD MORNING MADRID!

Even when I love traveling more than ever, even having in mind that I do love my work, even when I’m missing my friends and my life in Los Angeles… it is always amazing to come back home from time to time. Happiness!

I was picked up last night by my sister and my mom at the airport and we came to my house to start unpacking and chatting about everything, there were so much to tell after 2 months.

I went to bed about 2am because of the jet lag and I woke up at 7am this morning, but like a rose, lucky me, so let’s rock this Monday!

Today I show you the photos and the inside of the Alcatraz jail in San Francisco, and you will have the complete video on my tv channel this Wednesday. The truth is that it is impressive to think about the things that should have happen between these 4 walls, with the baddest people ever. And in the video I will tell you many more details.

As I said it in the picture I shared on my Instagram inside this jail: “every act has its consequences, whether positive or negative, so before we act let’s make sure we’re ready for them”. True story. Freedom is the most important gift we have been given (that God has given to us) and we are free to act and interpret it as we want. Of course, as I always say based on the respect and love for each other. This is the best way to enjoy our freedom.

And I woke up again today very happy, as I said at the beginning. Happy to think about how lucky we are the ones who have health, a home, a job. Happy because it is a beautiful and sunny day today in Madrid. Happy because I love my work and I love to have weak up early to edit these photos and write this post. Happy to have you all in one way or another in my life.

And I want to finish today telling you about my experience last night at the plane. On the last flight from London to Madrid, I almost lost it because Heathrow Airport is deadly, I met an impressive family. I can not deny that they gave me healthy envy. Pilar is the super mom of 8 children, 5 girls and 3 guys, wonderful. She is also a teacher in a Majadahonda school when the last baby is not even 1 year old, wow! I loved to see how they all obey their parents, how they love each other and how everything in life comes down to: to want is to can. I was especially excited because I know that her students are my followers according to what she told me and I also know that Pilar, the oldest daughter, is my follower too. I love meeting people like that, cheerful and positive, they are inspirational and motivating for me.

Mi primera vez en… ¡San Francisco!

Por fin he podido visitar esta ciudad Californiana con mis amigos Sylvia y Carlos.

Tengo que reconocer que no hemos tenido mucha suerte con el tiempo ya que nos ha llovido los 4 días que hemos estado, pero aún así me ha parecido una ciudad preciosa y de obligatoria visita.

Aparte de la cárcel de Alcatraz que os enseñaré esta semana, el puente Golden Gate que no podemos decir que lo vimos por la neblina que lo cubre casi siempre (ahora entiendo que haya Emoji del puente con y sin niebla) y de los alucinantes embarcaderos que también os enseñaré, me gustó mucho pasear por las típicas calles de casas californianas como estas. Más concretamente estas que veis en las siguientes fotos reciben el nombre de “Painted Ladies” o “Damas pintadas”. Reciben este nombre las casa de estilo victoriano que son pintadas en 3 o más colores para resaltar la arquitectura de las misma. Estas se encuentran en Álamo Square, y tuvimos que ‘colarnos’ para poder hacer estas fotos ya que el parque de enfrente, desde donde teníamos estas fabulosas vistas, para que veáis cómo me juego la vida, haha.

Y aquí viene la pregunta del millón: ¿quién sabe decirme en qué conocida serie salían estas casas (aparte de otras mil series y películas en las que salen)? Venga, os lo cuento yo: ¡en “Padres Forzosos”! Qué mítica serie con las hermanas Olsen.

Os dejo con el look que escogí para un día de paseo bajo la lluvia: jeans, deportivas, camiseta básica blanca con mensaje “bad habits” y cazadora de cuero con flores pintadas y también con mensaje “rebel rose”. Siempre me encanta recordar y sacar a la pequeña rebelde que llevo dentro… lo he sido desde siempre, ¡lo reconozco!

My very first time in… San Francisco!

Finally I could visit this Californian city with my friends Sylvia and Carlos.

I have to admit that we have not had much luck with the weather since it has rained the 4 days that we spent there, but it is still I a super beautiful and mandatory city to visit.

Apart from the Alcatraz jail that I will show you this coming week, the Golden Gate Bridge that we can not say we saw it by the fog that covers it almost every day (now I completely understand that there is 2 different Emojis of the bridge: with and without fog) and the amazing pier that I will show you soon too, I really enjoyed strolling around these typical Californian streets with houses like these. More specifically these ones you can see in the following photos receive the name of “Painted Ladies”. They received this name all the Victorian style houses that are painted in 3 or more colors to highlight the architecture of themselves. These ones are located in Alamo Square, and we had to ‘sneak’ in order to be able to take these photos as the park just in front where we had these fabulous views was closed for works, so you can see how I risk my life for you, haha.

And here comes the million question: who can tell me in which super famous serie were featured these houses (apart from a thousand other series and movies in which they also come out)? Ok, I will tell you: in “Full House” yes! What a mythical serie with the Olsen twins.

I leave you now with the look I chose for a day out in the rain: jeans, sneakers, white and basic t-shirt with message “bad habits” and leather jacket with painted flowers and also with the message “rebel rose”. I always love to remember the little rebel I have inside me… She will stay there forever, I do admit it!

Nighties trend

“Haz lo que te gusta, lo que realmente te hace feliz, y no tendrás que trabajar nunca más”.

Esto es lo que pienso cada mañana cuando me levanto, lo afortunada que soy por poder trabajar en lo que más feliz me hace en el mundo. Por eso, aunque tiene partes negativas que no se ven a simple vista y que os he contado en algunas ocasiones, yo me levanto y me acuesto cada día dando las gracias por todo lo que tengo y lo que estoy viviendo y sobre todo por poder compartirlo con vosotros.

Una de las cosas que más me gustan de mi vida es el poder viajar y conocer a gente maravillosa en mi camino. Es el caso de Lisa, su marido, y su marca Ragdoll. Ya sabéis que llevo colaborando con ellos varios años y cada día tenemos una relación más especial y sincera.

Lisa me ha ayudado muchísimo en mi traslado a Estados Unidos, ya que ella también es europea, más concretamente de Suecia. Su marido también es un gran profesional que siempre me hace fotos como estas que os enseño hoy. Hacen el tándem perfecto porque aparte de ser buenas personas han creado una marca con ropa sencilla, cómoda para el día a día, pero con ese toque más roquero, tal y como lo explica la propia Lisa: “Me gusta vestir clásica pero con un toque sexy, vintage y rock ‘n’ roll”. Además tienen un equipazo de chicas detrás que hacen que todo sea posible.

Personalmente he podido comprobar que en la vida nos vamos uniendo a la gente que se asemeja a nosotros en forma de pensar, de actuar, de ser… y por eso creo que mi camino se ha cruzado con el suyo, porque teníamos cosas que aportarnos mutuamente y a mí sólo me gusta rodearme de gente buena, con energía positiva y que siempre me sumen.

Hoy os quiero enseñar dos looks con vestidos lenceros de raso. Este tipo de vestidos hace unos años era impensable llevarlos a la calle porque parecen para andar por casa, estilo camisón. En mi opinión me encanta poder ir cómoda a la calle con un vestido largo de seda y combinarlo con una camiseta o jersey finito, porque soy partidaria de buscar mil combinaciones diferentes a las prendas, no combinarlas siempre de la misma forma. Pero, ¿qué opináis vosotros de que esta tendencia haya traspasado nuestros hogares y haya salido a la calle?

“Do what you like, what really makes you happy, and you will not have to work ever again.”

This is what I think every morning when I get up, how lucky I am to be able to work on what makes me happiest in the world. That is why, although it has negative parts that are not seen at first sight and I have told you some times, I get up and go to bed every day being grateful for what I have and what I am living and above all for being able to share it with all of you.

One of the things that I like most about my life is to be able to travel so much and to meet wonderful people on my way. This is the case of Lisa, her husband, and their brand, Ragdoll. You know that I have been collaborating with them since some years ago and every day we have a more special and sincere relationship.

Lisa has helped me a lot moving to the United States, since she is also European, more specifically Sweden. Her husband is also a great professional who always takes me my favourites pics ever like these ones that I’m showing you today. They make the perfect tandem because apart from being good people have created a brand with simple clothes, basic colours, comfortable for day to day, but with that touch more rock ‘n’ roll, as explained by Lisa herself: “I like to dress classy but with a touch of sexy, vintage and rock ‘n’ roll”. They also have a girls working with them that make everything possible.

Personally I have been able to prove that in life we are joining people who are similar to us in the form of thinking, acting, being… and that is why I believe that my way has crossed with them, because we had things that bring us to each other and I just like to surround myself with good people, with positive energy, good vibes and who always add me.

Today I want to show you two different looks with ‘nightie’ dresses. This kind of dresses a few years ago was unthinkable to wear them to the street because they seem just to be worn at home, a nightie style. Even though in my opinion I love being able to go to the street with a long silk dress and combine it with a thin t-shirt or sweater, because I am in favor of looking for a thousand different combinations with our clothes, not always combine them in the same way or with the same things. But what do you think about this trend that has crossed our homes and gone out?

Sta. Monica promenade

¡Buenos días familia!

¿Cómo ha ido vuestro día de San Valentín? Espero que hayáis recibido mucho amor de cualquier persona y de cualquier forma, y que siga así todos los días.

Como ya sabéis me encanta mi “agenda” en Los Angeles porque me levanto muy temprano para trabajar y sobre las 13 o 14h estoy libre para poder ir a mis zonas favoritas a tomar algunas fotos y relajarme con mis amigos. El día aquí comienza antes pero también termina antes. Por eso uno de los planes que más me gustan es ir a Santa Mónica, la playa más cercana a LA junto con Venice Beach y Malibu, y pasear por el paseo marítimo antes de tumbarme en la playa a disfrutar del mar, mi momento favorito y no puedo sentirme más afortunada y agradecida por ello.

Después ya sabéis que estoy yendo a boxeo con mi amigo Edu y a yoga otros días, así que por ahora estoy cumpliendo algunos de mis propósitos de este año. ¡Ole!

Por último, llego a casa y mientras me pongo de fondo todas las series que nunca he visto (nunca había visto ninguna serie hasta ahora), comienzo a editar fotos y vídeos y a preparar el post de cada día.

Lo cierto es que me gusta estar en LA no sólo por este estilo de vida mucho más saludable, sino por otros motivos que son aún más importantes. Es difícil de explicar pero aquí me siento más libre, más feliz, con gente buena que me ayuda y que yo ayudo, que considero buenos amigos ya, y que son como mi familia americana. Todo son risas y “buen royo”. Sinceridad y personas que van de frente. No hay tantos prejuicios. La gente se centra más en lo suyo que en criticar tan duramente a los demás.

Al menos a mi en todos los ámbitos me están ayudando mucho, y eso se agradece cuando estas tan lejos de tu casa y de la gente que quieres…

Peeero es cierto que echo de menos también mi vida en Madrid. La semana que viene vuelvo a mi casa aunque estaré pocos días ya que tengo que trabajar en varios proyectos que estoy deseando poder contaros y enseñaros. No puedo estar más contenta de lo bien que ha comenzado el 2017 y todo es gracias a vosotros y al esfuerzo constante y diario. ¡Gracias chicos!

Mañana más y mejor…

Good morning family!

How was your Valentine’s day? I hope you have received so much love from anyone and in any way, and that it continues every day of the year.

As you know I love my daily agenda in Los Angeles because I get up very early to work and about 13 or 14h I am free to go to my favorite areas to take some photos and relax with my friends. The day here starts earlier but also ends earlier. That’s why one of the plans I like most is to go to Santa Monica, the closest beach to LA like Venice Beach and Malibu, and stroll along the promenade before laying on the beach to enjoy the sea, my favorite moment of the day and I can not feel more fortunate and grateful for it.

Then you know that I’m going to boxing classes with my friend Edu and other days to yoga, so I’m happy to be fulfilling some of my purposes for this new year too. Yaay!

Finally, I get home and while I watch all these new American series I’ve never seen before (I’ve never seen any series so far, unbelievable but true story), I start editing photos and videos and preparing the posts for each day.

The truth is that I like being in LA not only for this much healthier lifestyle, but for other reasons that are even more important. It’s hard to me to explain but here I feel freer, happier, with good people who help me and I help them too, who I consider good friends already, and who are like my American family. Everything is laughter and good vibes with them. Sincerity and front facing people. There are not so many prejudices. People focus more on their own than on criticizing others so hard.

At least to me they are really helping me a lot in all aspects, and that is super important when you are so far away from your home and the people you love…

Buuut it is true that I miss my life in Madrid too. Next week I will return to my house although I will be just a few days there since I have to work on some important projects that I am looking forward to be able to tell and to show you. I can not be more happy with how good 2017 has started and it’s all thanks to you and the constant and daily work and effort. Thanks guys!

Valentine’s day…

Y un año más llegó el día del ¿”amor”?, el día más esperado por las parejas… y desde luego por los comercios: el día de San Valentín.

¿Invento americano para vender más? Personalmente pienso que sí.

Estaba guardando estas fotos del shooting con el vestido que llevé a la premiere de ’50 sombras más oscuras’ a la que asistí aquí en Los Angeles para el día de hoy, ya que la película se estrenaba a nivel internacional el día de San Valentín.

Yo nunca he celebrado San Valentín con mi pareja de una manera especial o diferente al resto de días del año. Bien es cierto que cuando eres más joven y tienes tu primer novio/a, te hace especial ilusión que se acerquen a ti con una sorpresa, que te den un beso inesperado, que te envíen una postal con una frase de amor o un ramo de rosas rojas… y cuanto más grande y más rojas, mejor, que te lleven a cenar a un restaurante “mejor de lo habitual”, o incluso hay gente que se compromete en este día…

Todo esto está genial, pero el amor es algo que se demuestra a diario y no con cosas materiales, y eso es lo realmente difícil.

Siempre buscamos el destacar por encima de los demás, el show off, el que todos vean cuanto tenemos, cuanto nos quieren o qué felices somos (y yo la primera que lo hago a través de mis redes sociales) en vez de centrarnos en lo realmente importante que es en vivir la vida con la gente adecuada, con gente buena, de buen corazón y que nos quiera de verdad. Con personas que se alegren cuando nos pasen cosas buenas y que lloren con nosotros en los momentos no tan buenos, y que sólo quieran sumar y nunca restar. Sin envidias. Sin decir una cosa a la cara y otra diferente por detrás. Gente directa y sencilla.

Me gusta estar con gente que de una forma u otra hacen que mi corazón palpite más rápido de lo normal, que hacen que me sienta viva y feliz. Que hacen que el ‘querer’ valga la pena.

Además pienso que el amor no existe sólo es entre dos personas que se atraen y quieren como pareja. Yo siento amor infinito por muchas personas que me rodean y que quiero: por mis padres y mi hermana, por mi familia, por mis amigos, por gente que conozco desde hace años y me han demostrado que me quieren bien y otros que he conocido hace menos tiempo y que me lo han demostrado igual… Porque el alma gemela no tiene por qué encontrarse en una pareja.

En fin, después de mi reflexión en un día ‘tan especial’ como hoy, me gustaría saber qué opináis vosotros de este día. ¿Lo celebráis de alguna manera más especial? ¿Pensáis que es una estrategia comercial de las marcas?

And one more year it came the ‘love’? day, the most awaited day by couples… and of course by the shops: Valentine’s Day.

Is it just an invention to sell more? Personally I think so.

I was saving these pictures from the shooing with the dress I wore to the ’50 darker shadows’ premiere that I attended here in Los Angeles for today’s post, as the film was released internationally on Valentine’s Day.

I have never celebrated Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend in a special or different way from other days of the year. It is true that when you are younger and have your first boyfriend/girlfriend, it makes you especially happy to get a non expected kiss, to receive a postcard with a love quote, to receive a bouquet of red roses… and the bigger and redder, the better, to go to have dinner at a special restaurant “better than usual”, or even there are people who compromise on this day…

All this stuff is great, but love is something that you have to prove daily and not with material things, and that is the real difficult part of all.

We always try to be more than others, we like the show off more and more every day, that everyone can see how much we have, how much they love us or how happy we are (and I’m the first one doing it through my social networks) instead of focusing on what really matters which is to live the life with the right people, with good people with a good heart and that really love us. With people who is happy when good things happen to us and who will cry with us in the bad moments, and who only want to add in our lives. No envy. Without saying one thing to your face and a different one behind. Direct and simple people. That’s really hard to find nowadays.

I like being with people who in one way or another make my heart beating faster than normal, that make me feel alive and happy. That make me fell worth it.

Also I think that love does not exist only between two people who are attracted and love each other as a couple. I feel infinite love for many people around me like my parents and my sister, my family, my friends, the people I’ve known for years and have shown me that they love me and others I’ve just known but in less time they have shown me the same… Because the soul mate does not have to be a couple.

Anyway, after my reflection on such a ‘special’ day as today, I would like to know what do you think about this day. Do you celebrate it in any special way? Do you think that it is a marketing strategy from the brands?
