Londres es una ciudad preciosa llena de rincones asombrosos… pero nunca me imaginé que podría encontrar un hotel con tanto color y encanto como este en el centro de la ciudad: Taj 51 Buckingham Gates.

Es el Hotel por el que más me habéis preguntado y yo creo que el más bonito que he visitado. El hotel se divide en varios edificios construidos alrededor de este bonito patio central donde puedes bajar a desayunar, comer, tomar el té…

Esta vez escogí un look total black con abrigo beige por encima porque ya sabéis que el negro es mi color favorito a la hora de vestir y el binomio beige-negro es siempre un acierto.

Como algunos ya habréis visto ayer estuve grabando un anuncio que saldrá en la tele en una semanas… ¡espero que cuando lo veáis os acordéis de mi! hehe. Y hoy tengo otras dos grabaciones importantes a las que me voy ya corriendo. Cuando uno trabaja en su pasión, en lo que más le gusta, y rodeado de gente buena y divertida que hacen todo más fácil, es realmente un placer ir a trabajar.

Además visteis también que ayer me hice dos nuevos tattoos que estoy deseando enseñaros en un par de días en cuanto se me curen un poco, ¡me encantan y tienen un bonito significado para mí!

¡Mucho ánimo con el Jueves que ya mañana nos vamos de vacaciones de Navidad! (aunque yo no, pero disfrutaré del fin de semana igual haha).

London is a beautiful city full of amazing corners to discover… but I never imagined that I could find a hotel with as much color and charm as this one located in the center of the city: Taj 51 Buckingham Gates.

It is the Hotel that you asked me more about and I think the most beautiful I have ever visited there. The hotel is divided into some buildings built around this nice central courtyard where you can go down to have breakfast, to eat, for the tea time…

This time I chose a total black outfit with a beige coat over because you know that black is my favorite color when dressing and the beige-black pairing is always a wise move.

As some of you have already seen yesterday I was recording a new advertisement that will be featured on TV in a week, in many channels… I hope that when you see it you think about me! Hehe. I’m really very proud and excited. And today I have two other important recordings to which I am already running. When you work on your passion, on what you like most in the world, and surrounded yourself by good and fun people that make everything easier, it is really a pleasure to go to work. I do love working!

Also you saw that yesterday I made two new tattoos that ‘m look forward to show you in a couple of days as soon as I can and the look good, I love them and they have a nice meaning for me, can’t wait to show you!

So let’s rock this Thursday because tomorrow it’s already Christmas’s Holidays! (Although I’m not going anywhere this year as I don’t stop traveling and I want to be at home with my family before traveling again to US after Christmas, but I will enjoy these days the same).

¡Buenos días familia!

Made mía, no me puedo creer lo rápido que se me ha pasado el año, ¡ya estamos en la semana de Navidad!

Sigo en Londres pero en unas horas cogeré un avión de vuelta a casa, ¡por fin! Y me quedaré en Madrid un par de semanas antes de volver a Estados Unidos… donde por cierto, ¡ya he conseguido mi VISA! Estoy muy muy contenta y orgullosa y me encanta ver cómo las cosas con trabajo y esfuerzo constante acaban viendo la luz.

Este es otro de los looks que llevé esta semana en Londres, más concretamente para mi reunión con la marca Asos. La verdad es que me encanta el traje completo. Desde que lo vi en la web sabía que iba a pedirlo porque aunque a simple vista parezca llamativo por el color después con algo básico negro debajo e incluso con deportivas como me visteis en Instagram, queda perfecto.

Hoy, Lunes, comenzamos la penúltima semana del año y os invito a que hagáis como yo haré estos días: reflexionar. Reflexionar sobre el 2016. ¿Qué nos ha traído? Si hemos vivido malas experiencias, aquí se quedan. Si han sido buenas, nos quedamos con este bonito recuerdo y esperamos a las que están por llegar.

Nadie es perfecto ni tiene la vida perfecta. Esto os lo he dicho mil veces. Por lo tanto lo mejor que podemos hacer, y eso es lo que intento hacer siempre yo, es aprender de los errores o momentos tristes y luchar por lo que realmente queremos y por tener más buenos momentos que malos. Todo esfuerzo acaba teniendo su recompensa.

He aprendido que en todo (en el trabajo, en las amistades, en el amor…), lo que tenga que ser, será. Y si no es es porque no era para nosotros. Solía ser más impaciente y por lo tanto más infeliz. Ahora me dedico a vivir el día a día, este momento, para que sea lo mejor posible, y mañana Dios dirá. Y creo que soy mucho más feliz ahora.

Las personas que quieran estar en nuestras vidas lucharán por estarlo. Pero no porque alguien desaparezca de ellas implica que hemos fracasado. No. Simplemente las personas a medida que crecemos vamos tomando nuestras propias decisiones y caminos y no siempre son los mismos. No pasa nada porque el tiempo es el que pone a cada uno en su sitio al final.

Good morning family!

Oh my God,, I can’t believe how fast the year has gone, we are already in Christmas week, yay!

I’m still in London but in a few hours I’ll catch a plane back home, finally! And I will stay in Madrid a couple of weeks before coming back to the United States… where by the way, I have already got my VISA! I am very very happy and proud of myself and I love to see how things with work and constant effort come to see the light.

This is another of the looks I was wearing this last working week in London, more specifically for my meeting with Asos brand. The truth is that I love the full suit. Since I saw it on their website I knew I was going to ask for it because although at first sight it looks flashy for the color then with something basic underneath and even with sneakers like you saw me on my Instagram account, it’s perfect.

Today, Monday, we start the penultimate week of the year and I invite you to do as I will do these days: to reflect. Reflect about 2016. What has brought us? If we have experienced bad things, they will stay here. If they have been good, we will keep them in our memory and we will wait for the better ones that are about to come.

No one is perfect and nobody has a perfect life. I have told you this a thousand times. So the best thing we can do, and that’s what I always try to do, is to learn from mistakes or sad moments and fight for what we really want and for having more good times than bad moments. Every effort ends up having its reward. Always.

I have learned that in everything (at work, in friendships, in love…), what is meant to be, will be. And if it is not it is because it was not for us. I used to be more impatient and therefore more unhappy. But some months ago I decided to live day by day, this moment, to make it the best possible, and tomorrow God will say. And I think I’m much happier now.

People who want to be in our lives will fight to be. But not because someone disappears from them means that we have failed. No. Simply all of us as we grow up we are taking our own decisions and ways and their are not always the same. Nothing happens because time is the one that puts each one in its place at the end.

No quiero echar más leña al fuego… pero sí me gustaría comentar un par de cosas hoy.

La primera: el que quiera respeto, que le respeten, tiene que ganárselo, tiene que respetar.

Y la segunda: en la vida, seas quien seas, no puedes imponer nada a nadie. Hablando y sólo hablando se entiende la gente, para eso supuestamente somos “personas” (aunque parece que no todos) y no animales. Por lo tanto debemos comportamos como tales.

Creo que soy una persona bastante razonable y comprensiva. Pero que esté trabajando con mi madre, haciendo fotos en un lugar tan bonito como este (que ya sabéis que es mi sitio favorito donde vengo mil veces siempre que estoy en Madrid) y que me prohiban hacer fotos incluso con el móvil… no se a dónde vamos a llegar ya en este país de verdad, pero yo estoy muy muy cansada. Todo el mundo va a este Palacio de Cristal a hacerse fotos a diario: bloggers, turistas, chinos con cámaras profesionales… es un lugar PÚBLICO. Y si alguien puede hacerse una foto con el móvil, yo también, la excusa de “porque tú eres un personaje público”, no tiene argumento vamos. Todas esas fotos irán a las redes sociales de ellos igual que las mías.

Dicho esto, añadir que el CNP es algo de lo que sí deberíamos estar más orgullosos en este país, qué pena que no se note.

Cuanto más viajo más triste me pone ver lo que veo en España. Que no nos valoremos. Que nos critiquemos tan duramente en las redes sociales. Que sólo haya envidias. Mala gente. Malas palabras. Malos actos. Y nadie hace nada al respecto.

Yo lo siento pero de nuevo vuelvo a utilizar esta “ventana al mundo” que tengo para desde aquí volver a reivindicar los valores que nunca debimos perder. El ser buenas personas, el amar al prójimo como a uno mismo, el respeto.

Os dejo con las bonitas fotos que finalmente pudimos tomar en este precioso Palacio del Retiro. Un sitio que todos los turistas deberían visitar, hacerse fotos y compartir ya que no pienso que sea algo que debamos ocultar. Y menos cuando España es un país donde más del 80% de los ingresos provienen del turismo…

Con este sabor agridulce hoy me despido hasta mañana familia y os recuerdo que tenéis al final del post los códigos de descuento para la ropa y los links directos a las tiendas.

I do not want to talk anymore about what happened to me yesterday… but I would like to say just a couple of things today.

The first one: those ones who wants respect they have to earn it, they have to respect too.

And the second one: in life, whoever you are, you can not impose anything on anyone. Speaking and talking calmly is the only way, for that we are supposedly “people” (although not all of us are) and not animals. Therefore we must act like that.

I think I’m a fairly reasonable and understanding person. But I can’t never understand that I’m working with my mother, taking photos in a place as beautiful as this (you already know that it’s my favorite place in Madrid where I come a thousand times whenever I’m at the city) and that they forbid me taking photos even with my own mobile phone… I don’t know where we are going to arrive in this country, but I am very very tired and sad for all these things. Everyone goes to this Crystal Palace to take photos daily: bloggers, tourists, Chinese with professional cameras… it is a PUBLIC place. And if someone can take a picture with their mobile phones, me too, the excuse of “because you are a public figure,” is not an argument at all. All those photos will go to their social networks just like mine.

Said that, I want to end up saying that the our National Police Department is something that we should be more proud of in this country, like in ALL COUNTRIES around the world, what a shame that is not noticed.

The more I travel the more sad it makes me feel when I see how we are here in Spain. We don’t value other’s work. We just criticize others so hard on social networks. There’s only envy. Bad people. Bad acts. And nobody does anything about it.

I am sorry but again I use this “window to the world” that I have from here to return to claim the values that we should never lose. Being good people, loving your neighbour as much as yourself, respect please.

A place that all tourists should visit, take photos and share as I do not think it is something that we should hide. And less when Spain is a country where more than 80% of revenues come from tourism…

Helicopter ride

¡Mi primera vez en un helicóptero!

Y muy contenta de que haya sido en mi tierra, en España, y en una isla tan bonita como Tenerife para disfrutar desde el aire.

Yo me senté delante con el piloto para poder grabar y ver todo mejor, aunque las vistas desde atrás son igual de bonitas. Personalmente pensaba que me iba a dar más miedo del que me dio. Ya sabéis que odio volar o cualquier otro aparato que se levante de la tierra, haha, y sí, lo tengo que hacer cada semana… pero me da miedo. Sin embargo en este caso no me sentí insegura o con miedo en ningún momento, por lo que la experiencia me encantó y me sorprendió gratamente.

Aunque estaba un poco nublado pudimos divisar desde lejos la cima del volcán El Teide (su última erupción fue en 1.909) y el gran acantilado de Los Gigantes, aparte de la bonita costa de la isla.¡ Gracias Luxurycomm por esta súper experiencia!

Después nos dirigimos a comer a un restaurante típico por la zona mirando al mar como podéis ver en las fotos del final.

Y hoy he conseguido dejaros por fin en mi canal de Youtube mi programa del lunes en la tele en mi sección “Diario de una it girl”, en la cadena Non Stop People, donde os cuento más anécdotas de mi viaje a Los Ángeles y os hablo de las colecciones de las famosas entre otras cosas. My very first time in a helicopter!

And I’m very happy that it has been in my country, Spain, and on such a beautiful island as Tenerife to enjoy it from the air.

I sat in front with the pilot to be able to film, take pics and see everything better, although the views from behind are just as beautiful. Personally, I thought I was going to be more afraid than I actually was. You know I hate flying or any other transport that rises from the ground, haha, and yes, I have to do it every week… but I’m scared anyway. However in this case I did not feel insecure or scared at any moment, so I loved the experience and it really surprised me. I do recommend it to you!

Although it was a little cloudy we could see from a distance the top of El Teide volcano (its last eruption was in 1.909) and the great cliff of Los Gigantes, apart from the beautiful coast of the island. Thanks Luxurycomm for let me enjoy this amazing experience!

Afterwards we went to eat in a typical restaurant in the area overlooking the sea as you can see in the photos at the end of the post.

And today I have managed to finally show you on my Youtube channel my program on TV in my “Diary of a It Girl” section, for the TV chain Non Stop People, where I tell you more details about my trip to Los Angeles and I also speak about the clothes collections of the celebrities. LA diary: last day

¡Hola, Lunes!

Todo llega a su fin para que nuevas aventuras vayan llegando… así que este es el último post que os enseño de mi viaje a Los Angeles, aunque os comento que vuelvo muy prontito… tengo muchas ganas de empezar a trabajar entre LA y Madrid y así poder enseñaros el doble de cosas. ¡El 2017 promete!

Tengo que reconocer que soy de las que piensa que si visualizas mucho una cosa… acaba pasando. No se si será por la energía que pongo en mis pensamientos/sueños/deseos pero siempre que he querido algo en la vida he luchado por conseguirlo. Y no se consigue todo… pero sí casi todo. Porque con esfuerzo, tiempo y sobre todo haciendo las cosas bien, creo que llegaremos a cualquier lado. Por eso, hoy quiero deciros que me siento muy orgullosa de ver hasta dónde he llegado y hasta dónde llegaré. Muchas veces hay decisiones que parecen una locura, la gente piensa que estás loco e incluso la mayoría se alejan… pero el tiempo, el gran sabio de nuestras vidas, acaba demostrando al final quién se equivocaba y quién no.

Estoy especialmente contenta porque este proyecto, mi empresa, el blog, mis redes sociales, mi canal… no dejan de crecer y la familia también. Ya tengo a una persona que me ayuda a diario con mails y trabajo que es algo que me ha caído creo que directamente del cielo, porque es justo lo que buscaba. Y esto hace que pueda tener finalmente vida y prestaros más atención con lo que me preguntáis en las redes sociales.

En fin, que me apetecía también contaros un poquito lo que hay detrás de cada post, de cada foto, de cada Stories, de cada vídeo… que es un equipo que dedica el día entero, su esfuerzo y trabajo a este proyecto. ¡Soy muy feliz! Y gracias a todos vosotros por formar parte de esta felicidad, por vuestro apoyo diario y sobre todo por no dejar que nunca me rinda.

Hello, Monday!

Everything comes to an end so that new adventures can come in… so this is the last post I show you from my last trip to Los Angeles, although I tell you that I will be coming back very soon… I really want to start working between LA And Madrid so I can show you more things, brands, outfits and 2 different lifestyles, american and european. Can’t wait for 2017 and it’s new projects!

I have to admit that I am one of those who thinks that if you visualize something a lot… it just happens. I do not know if it will be because of the energy that I put into my thoughts/dreams/desires but whenever I have wanted something in my life I have struggled to achieve it. And I know that not everything is achieved… but almost everything. Because with effort, time and above all doing things right, I think we’ll get anywhere. That is why today I want to tell you that I am very proud to see how far I have come and how far I will go. Many times there are decisions that seem crazy, people think that you are crazy and even most of them go away from you… but time, the great “wise” of our lives, ends up showing us who was wrong and who was not.

I am especially happy because this project, my company, the blog, my social networks, my TV channel… do not stop growing up and my family too. I already have a person who helps me every day with mails and work that is someone that I think just has fallen directly from heaven to me, because she is just what I was looking for. And this makes me finally have a “normal” life and pay more attention to what you ask me through my social networks.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you a little bit what is behind each post, each photo, each stories, each video… that is a team that spend the whole day working and thinking in new things to keep on developing this project, my personal project. I am very happy! And thanks to all of you for being part of this happiness, for your daily support and above all for not letting me never give up.

La imaginación y la creatividad pueden cambiar el mundo.

Me gusta la gente que tiene imaginación.

Ya os he comentado esto muchas veces pero yo la tengo desde que soy pequeña. Creo que esa imaginación es buena para trabajos más creativos y de diseño. Por eso quizá he ido poco a poco cambiando los números y la economía por mi trabajo actual, donde trabajo para mi propia empresa y soy yo la que decido cómo combino cada cosa y dónde y cómo me gusta hacer las fotos.

Cada día es como si fuese una nueva aventura y aunque vosotros sólo veis el resultado final y algunas fotos aquí y en mis redes sociales detrás hay muchas horas de trabajo y de organización de todo: con qué me pongo cada cosa, cómo me siento más identificada con mi estilo, qué fondo me gusta para cada look, desde qué ángulo me gustan las fotos, … y luego acabo teniendo miles hasta que selecciono las 15 que os suelo enseñar en el blog. ¡No es nada fácil todo esto! Pero a mí personalmente me gusta mucho mi trabajo y sobre todo ver la evolución que he tenido a lo largo de los años en todos los aspectos: evolución de mi estilo, evolución de la calidad de las fotos y evolución en el diseño del blog.

En fin, que me voy por las ramas como siempre. Os decía esto porque me encanta invitarme historias de cada ciudad a donde voy y hoy la protagonista es esta casita blanca que me tiene enamorada. Estos días paseando con Carlitos por la playa no dejábamos de inventarnos historias y de divagar pensando que algún día yo viviré aquí, hahaha. Lo mejor de todo (aunque no me sorprende porque siempre me pasan cosas así) es que la final de tantas fotos que hicimos acabamos conociendo a uno de los dueños, majísimo por cierto, así que ya podemos volver siempre que queramos.

El caso es que quería enseñárosla en el blog y en mis redes y por eso escogí un look muy básico y sencillo en blanco y negro a juego con el entorno. Llevo un jersey de cashmere de nueva colección y esta falda tan bonita de cuello alto también de esta temporada en blanco y negro. Me gustan las faldas de cuello alto porque te las puedes poner más abajo con una camiseta o jersey por encima o subírtelas un poco más y ponerte un cinturón por dentro. Son de la firma Marola y podéis encontrar mil modelos distintos en su web. También me encantó el toque casual y deportivo de mis nuevas zapatillas a juego con el resto de prendas y el toque de color vino con mi nuevo bolso rojo que actualmente es el rey de la casa hehe.

Imagination and creativity can change the world…

I like people who have imagination.

I have already told you this many times before but I have it since I was a kid. I think that imagination is good for more creative and design works. So that’s the reason why I have been slowly changing the numbers and the economy for my current job. I work now for my own company and I have to decide every day how I combine everything and where and how I like taking pictures.

Every day is like a new adventure and although you only see the final results and some photos here and on my social networks, the truth is that behind there are many hours of work and organization of everything: how I combine each complement, how I feel more identified with my own style, what I like to have at the background for every look, from which angle I like the pictures… and then just after having thousands of pics I have to select the 15 I show you in the blog. It’s not an easy work! But I personally really like my work and especially to see the evolution I’ve had over the years in all aspects: the evolution of my style, the evolution of the quality of my photos and the evolution in the design of the blog.

Anyway, I said this because I love having and creating stories in every city where I go and today the protagonist is this little white house just in front of the beach that I’m absolutely in love with. These days strolling around the beach with Carlitos we could not stop inventing stories and wandering thinking that someday I’ll live there, hahaha. Best of all (but not surprised me because you know that usually happen to me things like this) is that after taking many pictures at the front we met one of the guests, super cool guy by the way, so we can go back whenever we want. Cool!

Anyway, I wanted to show it to you on the blog and in my networks and I chose a very basic and simple look in black and white matching the background. I was wearing a cashmere sweater new collection and this beautiful skirt high waisted also from this season in black and white. I like skirts like this because you can wear it with a sweater or t-shirt over or wear it a little bit higher with a belt at the waist. I also loved the casual and sporty touch of my new sneakers matching the rest of the colors and the touch of color came with my new red bag which actually is now the king of the house hehe. Do you like it?

LA diary: Four Seasons

Beverly Hills.

Otra de las zonas de obligatoria visita y quizá de las que mejor representa el sueño americano.

Es como una mini-ciudad muy grande con casa y “casoplones” de colores de lo más americanos, de esos que siempre hemos visto en las pelis. Es una de las ciudades más conocidas ya que es famosa por las grandes mansiones que se ven por todas partes de los ricos y famosos, principalmente de grandes estrellas del cine y de la música.

Tuvimos la suerte de poder alojarnos unos días en esta zona en el hotel Four Seasons que es el que veis en las fotos. Simplemente nos encantó. Levantarnos cada mañana con estas vistas a las mejores casas y a la montaña, y además disponer de un servicio tan bueno y de tan alta calidad como el de este hotel, es algo que no tiene precio cuando uno viaja, al menos para mí.

Y aunque queda fatal que enseñe tanto las piernas porque todavía se me ven los moratones y heridas de la caída que tuve en París, aquí está haciendo tanto calor que no quiero perder la oportunidad de enseñaros más vestiditos ya que se que no lo voy a poder hacer en Madrid debido al mal tiempo que está haciendo.

Hoy llevo un vestido negro o LBD con hombros descubiertos y lacitos en las mangas y mis slingback a juego con el bolso negro de cadena dorada. Las fotos las hicimos en varios de los salones, terrazas y jardines del espectacular hotel.

Mañana más y mejor.

Beverly Hills.

Another area must visited and perhaps that best represents the American dream.

It’s like a mini-city with many colourful houses and “huge houses” like those who all of us have always seen in the movies. It is one of the best known cities as it is famous for the great mansions that you can see everywhere of rich and famous people, mainly important actors and actresses and music stars.

We were lucky enough to stay a few days in this area at the Four Seasons hotel which is the one that you have already seen on my pictures. We just loved it. To get up every morning with these views to the best houses and to the mountain, and also have such a good service and high quality in this hotel is something that is priceless when you travel, at least for me.

And although it is very bad looking to show you my wounds because of my last “felt down the stairs” that I had in Paris, here it is such a good weather that I do not want to lose the opportunity to show you more dresses because I know I will not be able to do it in Madrid due to the bad weather there.

Today I’m wearing a black dress or LBD without shoulders and tied bows on the sleeves and matching my color block slingback with my black bag with gold chain. We took the photos in some of the living rooms, terraces and gardens of this spectacular hotel.

LA diary: downtown

Los Ángeles, Downtown.

El centro de LA es otro de los lugares de obligatoria visita aunque es cierto que no es tan bonito.

Lo que se puede visitar son edificios o lugares emblemáticos como el estadio de los Lakers, con estatuas de varios de los deportistas más conocidos del mundo a la entrada, China Town que está muy cerca y Little Tokyo, pero estas zonas son las mismas que en todas las ciudades.

Y después… ¡mi primer partido de baseball de mi vida! Y el de mi hermana. No puedo estar más contenta de haber podido asistir por fin a un estadio de baseball, en este caso al de los Dodgers y sobre todo en un partido de los playoff contra el equipo de Washington. La canción de “let’s go Dodgers!!” no se va de mi cabeza hahaha ¡y además ganaron!

La gente que estamos conociendo es muy simpática y nos están tratando genial y algo que me encanta de Los Ángeles es que casi todo el mundo habla español, o al menos lo entienden, eso te hace no sentirte tan lejos de casa.

Aunque el Otoño y el Invierno aquí no son tan fríos con en España o Europa, hay días que hace un poco más de fresco, pero con una sudadera y una chaqueta o cazadora todo solucionado.

Como algunos ya sabréis ya está por aquí mi amiga Maja conmigo así que la veréis en mis fotos y vídeos las próximas semanas. Esto es lo que más me gusta de mi vida, viajar y encontrarme a mis amigos por el mundo, al final son la familia que elegimos.

Los Angeles, Downtown.

Downtown LA is another must visit place though I do admit that is not as nice as other places.

What you can find here are office buildings or emblematic constructions such as the Lakers Stadium at Staples Center with the statues of some of the world’s best known athletes at the front. Very close is also China Town and Little Tokyo, but these areas are the same as in all the cities.

And then… my very first baseball match of my life! And my sister’s too. I can not be happier to finally being able to attend a baseball match, in this case the Dodgers stadium and especially in a playoff game against Washington team. The song “let’s go Dodgers !!” it’s still running through my head hahaha, and they won!

People here is being very nice with us and one of the things that we like most about Los Angeles is that almost everyone speaks Spanish, or at least they understand it, and this makes you feel not so far away from home.

Although the fall and winter here are not as cold as in Spain or Europe, there are some colder days, but with a sweatshirt and a jacket everything is solved.

As some of you may know my friend Maja, also blogger, just arrived here and she is staying with me these days so you will see her in my photos and videos this coming weeks. This is what I like most about my life, to travel and to meet my friends all over the world, friends are the family we choose!

¡Cómo cunden los días cuando estás de viaje! Y mucho más en una ciudad como Los Ángeles…

El otro día nos dio tiempo de hacer todo lo que veis en estas fotos y que os voy a contar.

Uno de los centros comerciales más conocidos de LA es The Grove donde podéis encontrar de todo: tiendas de ropa, de maquillaje, de deporte, de comida, tienda Apple cómo no, incluso un tranvía antiguo que a mi me fascinó y que podéis ver en las fotos. Es un centro comercial precioso al aire libre con fuentes y puentes ideales por todas partes y donde también está el Farmer’s Market, otro sitio de obligatoria visita que se parece al Mercado de San Miguel de Madrid.

Después de pasar aquí la mañana nos dirigimos a comer a uno de los restaurantes que os recomiendo de Beverly Hills: Georgie. Os lo aconsejo porque aparte de que la comida está buenísima está ubicado dentro de uno de los hoteles más bonitos de esta zona: el hotel Montagne. Además conocimos a una española encantadora, Angie, que ya se ha convertido en mi nueva amiga de por aquí hehe (yo y mi afán de hacer amigos por todas partes).

Ya por la tarde y aprovechando los últimos rayos de sol decidimos ir a conocer el vecindario y las típicas casitas, o mejor dicho “casoplones” americanos. Es cierto que aunque aquí comienzan los días antes, sobre las 7 de la mañana ya todo el mundo está en pie, también a las 7 u 8 de la tarde todo el mundo está en casa, y eso siendo española no me gusta nada haha. ¡Que aburrimiento meterme tan pronto en casa!

Este vestido es de mis favoritos que me he traído a este viaje y además es comodísimo. Es un vestido negro de tirantes con otra capa de gasa por encima con detalles de encaje en los bordes.

El lunes os seguiré contando más aventuras americanas… aunque no os perdáis mi Stories estos días porque va a ser un finde movidito hehe.

Time really flies when you’re traveling! And much more in a city like Los Angeles…

The other day we had time to do everything that you can see in these pictures and I will tell you with more details.

One of the most famed shopping centres in LA is The Grove where you can find everything: clothes, makeup, sports, food, Apple Store of course, even an old tram that really fascinated me and you can see it in the pictures. It is a lovely outdoor mall with amazing fountains and bridges everywhere and where there is also the Farmer’s Market, another must visit place that it’s similar to San Miguel’s Market in Madrid.

After spending the morning here we went to eat at one of the restaurants that I recommend you in Beverly Hills: Georgie’s. I recommend you to go because apart from that the food is very good it is located within one of the nicest hotels in the area: the Montagne hotel. We also met a lovely Spanish girl, Angie, and she has already become my new friend here hehe (me and my passion to make new friends everywhere).

In the afternoon and taking advantage of the last rays of sun we decided to discover a little bit more the neighborhood and the typical houses, or rather american “huge houses”. It is true that here the day begins before than in Spain, around 7 am everyone is wakeing up, but also at 7 or 8pm everyone is at home, and that, being Spanish, I do not like at all haha. I feel so bored going home so early!

This dress is my favourite one that I have brought to this trip and it is extremely comfortable. It is a black nighty with another chiffon top over with lace details at the edges. Just love it!

On Monday I will continue telling you more about my American adventures… but do not miss my Stories these days because it’s gonna be a non stop weekend!

“Puede que yo no sea muy listo, pero si sé lo que es el amor”, Forrest Gump.

Me encanta esta frase. Verdad verdadera. No todos los listos saben lo que es el amor, y no por ser menos listo no se tiene por qué desconocer. El amor es algo que no se controla, no se razona, no se analiza ni se calcula. Simplemente te dejas llevar y precisamente ahí radica su magia. El amor no atiende a la razón sino al corazón.

Y qué mítico Forrest Gump. ¿Quién no ha repetido alguna vez ese “corre Forrest, corre!” con algún amigo? Seguro que todos, como yo.

Me hace especial ilusión encontrarme este conocido restaurante, Bubba Gump, allá donde voy (ya me visteis en el de Nueva York) que se fundó unos años después de la película en honor a Forrest Gump y a su mejor amigo Bubba. Además este está ubicado en medio de la playa de Santa Monica, en el pier, así que es una zona de obligatoria visita.

Hemos paseado por aquí varios días, tanto por el día como por la noche ya que está siempre muy animado y me gusta sentarme a observar el mar y a la gente con algún batido o smoothie como en este caso que estoy tomando uno de fresas y plátano.

Y aprovechando el buen tiempo que todavía tenemos por aquí opté esta vez por unos shorts vaqueros negros y por ponerme mi camisa de flores que ha diseñado mi amiga italiana Flaminia y que no me puede gustar más por le bonito estampado de flores rosas y negras. Por eso decidí combinarla con bailarinas negras y bolso de piel también en tono rosado.

¡Por cierto! Feliz día de la Hispanidad! Que aunque estemos aquí también lo hemos celebrado.

“I may not be smart, but I know what love is”, Forrest Gump.

I love this quote. True story. Not all smartest people know what love is, and not all who are less clever ignore it. Love is something that we can not control, we can’t calculated it, analyse it or measure it. You just let yourself go and precisely that’s the real magic. Love will not listen to reason but to the heart.

And what legendary Forrest Gump is. Who has not ever said that quote: “run Forrest, run!” with a friend? I’m pretty sure that you have said it as well as me.

It makes me especially happy to find this popular restaurant, Bubba Gump, wherever I go (you already saw me at the New York one) which was founded a few years after the movie in honor of Forrest Gump and his best friend, Bubba. Furthermore, this one is located in the middle of the beach of Santa Monica, in the pier, so it is a must visit place.

We walked through here many days, both day and night as it is always very lively and I like to sit here and watch the sea and people with a shake or smoothie as in this case. I’m drinking one of my favourites: strawberries with bananas.

And taking advantage of the good weather we still have here I opted this time for black shorts and I put on my new floral shirt designed by my Italian friend Flaminia and I loved it for the print with flowers in pink and black. So I decided to combine it with my black leather ballerinas and my leather shoulder bag also in pink.

By the way! Happy Spanish Day to all my Spanish people! Even being here we have celebrated it of course.
