Lo que más me gusta del videopost de hoy es el significado que hay detrás de la nueva cajita de Birchbox de Octubre: el apoyo a todas las mujeres que han sufrido cáncer de mama, terrible enfermedad, pero la mayoría de las cuales han sido fuertes y han conseguido vencerlo. Las mujeres tenemos una fuerza innata y esto lo siento chicos pero es así, sino no seríamos las que tendríamos los hijos…
Porque la vida se trata de eso: de sacar fuerzas de donde no las hay, de tocar fondo y coger impulso para volver a subir, de sonreír aunque queramos llorar, de mirar la botella medio llena siempre, de ser felices e intentar hacer a los demás felices también, de hacer todo con ilusión y ganas porque el que la sigue la consigue y gana, siempre.

No he querido hablaros aquí acerca del nuevo tratamiento que me estoy haciendo en la cara porque ya sabéis que me gusta siempre probarlo todo bien antes para mostraros siempre resultados reales comprobados por mi misma.
Así que después de 3 sesiones ya os puedo contar todos los beneficios que estoy consiguiendo gracias a mi tratamiento con la máquina Exilis en el centro Salud y Belleza La Moraleja.
Es muy fácil llegar ya que se encuentra en la mítica Plaza de la Fuente donde están todos los restaurantes y además se puede aparcar tanto al aire libre como dentro del parking.

I did not want to speak here on the blog about the new therapy I’m doing on my own face because you know that I always like to try everything well before showing you real results verified by myself.
So after 3 sessions now I can tell you all the benefits I am discovering through my treatment with the Exilis machine at the beauty center Salud y Belleza La Moraleja.
It is very easy to arrive here because it is located in the famous Fountain Square where all the restaurants are and also you can park both outdoors or inside the parking.
But let’s talk about the interesting thing even I think that on the video Olaya and I explain everything perfectly to you in more detail and also you can see what each session is about because I show you how I do it myself.
This machine is already a revolution in the United States because since the first session I assure you that the results are noticeable. A friend of mine came last day with me and she also had its first session and she can corroborate it too. As I said, this machine is amazing because simply with a head that is heated as it passes through our skin it activates the collagen of our skin instantly. And why do we want and need to revive our collagen? Old people want to reactivate it in order to reduce their wrinkles that have gone out along the time… but young people need it just to avoid them! Me encanta poder terminar la semana con planes divertidos como por ejemplo el que vivimos el viernes pasado gracias a la revista Mujer Hoy. Como cada año esta conocida web a la última en todo lo relacionado con las mujeres celebró su “Día de la Belleza de Verano” por todo lo alto.
Las mejores firmas relacionadas con la belleza se dieron cita para presentar los productos más interesantes y que utilizaremos este verano. Desde colores nuevos de pintauñas hasta cremas para el sol, tratamientos para el cuidado y protección del cabello, alimentación sana e incluso perfumes frescos para esta época del año, por supuesto.
Para un evento matutino como este escogí un look sencillo pero muy lady. Llevo una blazer negra tipo crop con una camiseta rosa palo de manga larga debajo. Lo combiné con mis shorts de cuero negros con lazada en la cintura, mis sandalias con tachuelas a juego y mi bolso bicolor estilo maletín que la verdad es que me encanta desde que me lo compré en mi último viaje a Nueva York.
Al final con la guapa maquilladora y estilista Mónica Roldán que me encantó volver a encontrarme.

I love to finish the week with funny meetings such as the one we lived last Friday morning thanks to the spanish magazine ‘Mujer Hoy’. Like every year this popular website focused in all about women celebrated its Summer Beauty Day with all the top brands.
The best beauty brands where there to present the most interesting products that we all will use for sure this summer. Since new colors of nail polish to sun creams, treatments for the skin care and protection of the hair, healthy eating and even fresh fragrance for this season of the year, of course.
For a morning event like this I chose a simple but very lady look. I was wearing a black blazer crop style with a soft pink shirt long sleeve underneath. I combined it with my black leather shorts with lace at the waist and my studded sandals matching my color blocked shoulder bag that I love since I bought it on my last trip to New York in February.
At the end with the cute hair stylist and make up Mónica Roldá, so nice to see you again.
And what about you guys, are you ready for the summer? Do you already know which will be your essentials?
Aunque os fui contando y enseñando algunos imágenes y vídeos la semana pasada en mis redes sociales en el divertido evento que vivimos en el Hotel Claris de la ciudad condal gracias a Avène, hoy por fin os traigo más fotos y os cuento todo con más detalle.
Nada más llegar nos recibieron con buen desayuno en el penthouse del Hotel Claris (en el centro de la ciudad) para que todas las bloggers y youtubers tuviésemos un rato para ir conociéndonos. A continuación pasamos a una de las salas que habían habilitado especialmente para esta ocasión y comenzó nuestro “beauty day” con Avène.
Lo primero que tuvimos que hacer es vestirnos acordes para la ocasión: nos ‘enroscamos’ nuestras toallas a la cabeza y nos pusimos nuestros albornoces. Todas muy guapas para posar juntas en la foto de grupo, ¡me encanta! ¿y a vosotros?
Si os soy sincera dos de las cosas que más me sorprendieron del evento fueron el tema de la ‘mágica’ eficacia del agua termal y la clase de spa facial. Son dos cosas que desconocía totalmente y me sorprendieron muy gratamente. ¿Sabéis que muchas personas que tienen problemas en la piel y que visitan la central termal de Avène en Francia en menos de 3 semanas obtienen resultados inigualables en su piel? Esto es un dato muy importante en el cuidado de las pieles sensibles principalmente pero para todos los demás es igual de importante como tratamiento preventivo.
Por otra parte, después de desmaquillarnos con estos fabulosos productos para pieles sensibles (ya sabéis que yo no me pongo nada en la cara que no me inspire una confianza 100%), comenzamos la clase de spa facial. ¿Qué es esto? Pensé yo. Después de 45 minutos con las magníficas profesoras del Studio Australia Barcelona realizando los ejercicios que visteis en algunos de mis vídeos, os puedo asegurar que ¡se nota! Simplemente con una sesión de esta estimulación facial ves como tu piel queda más tersa y luminosa. Y os digo que funciona porque lo hicimos primero en una mitad de la cara para contrastar los resultados.
Por último y antes de terminar con un delicioso y sano brunch, la mejor nutricionista del Instituto de Benito nos habló de cómo comer de una forma más saludable. Este tema me interesa mucho porque sabéis que no tengo tiempo casi nunca para cocinar, pero hay alimentos que son fáciles de encontrar y simplemente tomando pequeñas raciones al día podemos cubrir las necesidades de vitamina C y otros nutrientes que nuestra piel necesita.
Conclusión: que nos tenemos que cuidar más la piel porque es nuestro espejo al exterior y porque cada vez existen más factores externos que nos agreden. Para ello necesitamos tanto buenas cremas y tratamientos como cuidarnos por dentro con una buena alimentación.
Y no me despedir sin dar las gracias a todo el equipo de Pequeñas Grandes Cosas por organizar este evento y al resto de personas que hicieron que fuese un día de diez, como a Francisco el fotógrafo, los chicos de audio y todos los ponentes incluido el presidente de Avène, ¡que no es fácil aguantar a un grupo así de chicas todo el día enganchadas al móvil! hehe.

Morning from Barcelona guys!
Last week I was telling and showing you some pics and funny videos through my social networks in the amazing event that we had at the Claris Hotel in Barcelona thanks to Avène, but now finally I show you more professional photos and I will tell you everything in detail.
Just when we arrived they were waiting for us with a good breakfast in the penthouse of the Claris Hotel (in the center of the city) for all bloggers and you tubers having some time to get to know each other. Just after that we came into one of the living rooms that they had especially prepared for the occasion and it began our “beauty day” with Avène.
The first thing we had to do is to dress up according to the occasion: we wrapped our towels to the head and we put on our bathrobes. All of us so pretty and sexy to pose together in a group photo, I love it! Don’t you?
To be honest two of the things that most surprised me of this event were the truth about the ‘magic’ effectiveness of thermal water and the new concept of facial spa. They are two completely unknown things to me and I was very pleasantly surprised. Do you know that many people who have skin problems and visiting the Avène thermal waters plant in France in less than three weeks obtained outstanding results in their skin? This is a very important step in the care of sensitive skin but also for the rest of us is so important as a preventive treatment.
Moreover, after removing our make up with these great products for sensitive skin (you know that I do not put anything on my face if I don’t trust it 100%), we started the spa facial class. What is this? I thought. After 45 minutes with the wonderful teachers of Studio Australia Barcelona doing the exercises you saw in some of my videos, I can assure you that it really works! With this facial stimulation you can see that your skin becomes smoother and brighter. And I say it works because we did first in half of the face to compare the results.
Finally and before finishing with a delicious and healthy brunch, the best nutritionist from Benito’s Institute told us about how to eat in a healthier way. This class also got my attention because you know that I have no time to cook, but there are foods and some ingredients that are easy to find and just taking small portions a day we can cover the needs of vitamin C and other nutrients that our skin needs.
In conclusion: we have to take care of our skin because it is our mirror outside and the image that see the others of us and it is so important because each day are more and more external factors that attack our skin. For this we need both good and care creams and treatments but also be need to feel good inside with good nutrition.
And I don’t want to finish this post without thanking the whole team of Pequeñas Grandes Cosas for organizing this super event and the other people who made that this day were wonderful.The top photographer Francisco, the audio guys and of course Avène’s president, it is not so easy to keep on talking with a group of ladies always taking pics and videos! hehehe.
Por fin puedo contaros la divertida tarde que pasamos en el Hotel Westin Palace de Madrid el martes pasado.

A continuación la experta Graciela después de haber analizado nuestra piel en la cabina de luz (mirad en las fotos cómo se ven las manchas con la luz morada) nos dio un tutorial para enseñarnos todos los pasos que debemos seguir tanto por las mañanas como por las noches para el cuidado y limpieza de nuestra piel. Por supuesto cada uno con los productos acordes a nuestro tipo de piel que es lo que más me gusta de SkinCeuticals, que tiene productos absolutamente para todas nosotras sea cual sea nuestro problema o necesidad.

Finally I can tell you the funny afternoon we spent at the Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid last Tuesday.

Then, the expert Graciela after analyzing our skin into the light cabin (look in the photos at my face with purple light hehe) gave us a tutorial to teach us all the steps that must be followed in the mornings and at night for our skincare and cleaning of our skin. Of course she gave us the advice with the specific products according to our skin type that’s what I like about SkinCeuticals, which are definitely products for all of us whatever our problem or need is.
Specifically we presented the new Metacell cream, that is perfect for all skin types. I use it daily in the morning and at night from just a month ago and I have already noticed the results. La verdad es que no me lo pongo mucho últimamente pero es una prenda que me encanta por su facilidad para combinarlo con cualquier jersey o camiseta y conseguir un look moderno… o incluso llevarlo así sin nada (evidentemente sólo para las fotos). Me gustan este shooting por lo simples y sencillas que son las fotos pero todo lo que transmiten.
Hace unos días publiqué en mis redes sociales una de estas fotos con la frase “the best thing is to look natural” con la que quería decir que lo mejor y más importante es ser y parecer siempre natural. Aunque en estas fotos iba algo maquillada, muchas veces pensamos que poniéndonos mucho colorete, rimel, pintalabios, etc. conseguiremos estar más guapas… y no niego que para determinados eventos o momentos es necesario, pero es también importante que nos sintamos agusto y bien cuando no llevamos nada, cuando somos realmente nosotros mismos. ¿Estáis de acuerdo conmigo? Todos tenemos defectos físicos los cuales nos hacen muchas veces sentir mal, inferiores a otras personas o incluso nos crean complejos (a mi la primera eh) pero ¿por qué no centrarnos en lo bueno que tenemos y potenciarlo para disimular lo “menos bueno”? Así que ¡a querernos todos un poquito más para que los demás también lo hagan!

How would you combine this black overall?
The truth is that I don’t use to wear it a lot but is a cloth that I really like because its easy to combine with any sweater or shirt to get a more modern look… or you can even wear it with anything (only f the pics, obviously). I like this shooting because of its simplicity and the easy way of the photos, they seem so natural and ‘real’.
A few days ago I published on my social networks one of these pics with the phrase “the best thing is to look natural” with which meant that the best and most important thing about fashion is to be and always look natural and be yourself. Although in these pictures I was wearing some make up, we use to think that wearing much blush, mascara, lipstick, etc. is the way that we get prettier… and I admit that for some events it is of course necessary, but it is also important that we feel good with ourselves when we aren’t wearing make up, when we are just ourselves. Do you agree with me? We all have physical defects which often make us feel bad, inferior to other people or even they create some complex in ourselves (me the first) but why not focus on the good things we have and hight light it to hide what is “less good”? I really think that we are so much pretty when we smile, sing, when we are thankful and grateful with others… So, today’s lesson is to love yourself a little bit more so that others can do the same!

Y ya ha llegado la última visita al la Clínica del Doctor Lajo para terminar el tratamiento que me he estado haciendo para mejorar la calidad de la piel de mi cara. Lo primero que quiero hacer es agradecerle a él y a todo su equipo su excelente trato, ¡gracias chicos!

Last session and visit to the Dr. Lajo Medical Center to finish the treatment that I’ve been following to improve the quality of my skin. The first thing I want to do is to thank him and all his team for the professional and friendly service, thank you guys!
As you know we have used the emerge laser combined with the best products of SkinCeuticals and my Blemish specific treatment which is what I use daily now. You usually ask me why I have the skin so well right now and I can assure you that is because all these products and treatments. Before I had it much worse and after years of trying everything related to skin care products for the face and fighting agains the ‘lovely’ pimples I can say now that SkinCeuticals products are the better treatment for my skin type and is because of them that I look better right now. Estoy segura de que ya echabais de menos la tercer parte de mi ‘saga personal’ con la firma SkinCeuticals… pues hoy os traigo el tercer vídeo donde os cuento cuales son los pasos que yo sigo cada día para cuidar mi piel del rostro.
Lo primero que hago nada más levantarme después de la ducha es lavarme la cara con el jabón acorde a mi tipo de piel. Dentro de la enorme variedad de productos de SkinCeuticals que abarca todo tipo de pieles yo uso en concreto la línea Blemish que es para tatar pieles más grasas o con tendencia acneica. A continuación me aplico el tónico y unas gotitas de vitamina C que es muy buena para mantener la piel tanto hidratada como iluminada. Por último aplico un serum antiacné y la crema protectora solar antes de empezar con mi rutina de maquillaje. I’m sure that you have missed the third part of my ‘personal saga’ of my SkinCeuticals Diary… so here you have today the third video where I tell you all the steps I follow every day to take care of my facial skin.
The first thing I do in the morning after taking a shower is to wash my face with a special soap according to my skin type. Between the huge variety of SkinCeuticals products covering all skin types I use specifically the Blemish line which is for more fat skin and to avoid pimples. Then I apply the tonic and a few drops of C vitamin which is good to keep our skin hydrated as much illuminated. Finally I apply an anti-acne serum and high sunscreen before starting my makeup routine.
