¡Buenos días desde Riviera Maya, México!

Aquí son casi las 7 de la mañana y nos hemos levantado con un sol radiante y 25 grados, ¡yuhuu!

He tenido un viaje un poco complicado porque me vino una fuerte gastroenteritis en el avión que me trataron en cuanto aterricé… pero ya me encuentro mucho mejor aunque todavía no podré probar hoy la comida mexicana que tanto me gusta.

Os dejo este look que saqué en Madrid antes de irme. Ya conocéis mi pasión por la mezcla de blanco y negro por eso cuando vi esta chaqueta en b&w no pude resistirme a ella. La combiné con una camiseta negra básica y mis pantalones estilo boyfriend. ¿Qué os parece mi elección?

Morning from Riviera Maya, México!

Here it’s almost 7 in the morning and the sun shines like in summer time and the weather is 25 degrees, amazing!

I’ve had a bit tricky trip because I had a strong gastroenteritis on the plane but they treated me when I landed … but I feel much better now although I still can not prove today Mexican food that I like so much…

I show you today this look that I took in Madrid before leaving. You know my passion for black and white mix so when I saw this wool jacket in b&w I could not resist to get it. I combined it with a basic black shirt and my boyfriend style jeans. What do you think about my choice?

Now I’m going to have a healthy breakfast and then to the beach!

“El Prado” Museum

¡Hey Sábado!

De nuevo un fin de semana soleado en Madrid… ¿quién dijo otoño?

En el post de hoy os enseño una de mis zonas favoritas de Madrid: la Iglesia de Los Jerónimos que está pegada al Museo del Prado. Me gusta mucho esta Iglesia tanto por la arquitectura exterior en colores claros y mármol con su gran escalinata, como por la zona en la que se encuentra enfrente del Museo más conocido de Madrid. Es un área de obligatoria visita para turistas tanto nacionales como extranjeros. No se si sabéis que el Museo del Prado es de entrada gratuita los domingos por la tarde y es uno de los planes que más me gusta hacer a mi sobre todo esos domingos de invierno en los que no sabes qué hacer.

Para este agradable paseo escogí mis jeans negros ajustados con cortes, una camiseta negra de ‘Homies‘, una blazer de cuadros blancos y negros y unas bailarinas bicolor en blanco y negro a juego con el resto del look. El toque de color ya veis que lo pone mi bolso rojo con tachuelas.

Y para los que estéis disfrutando del partido, Real Madrid-Barcelona, ¡que gane el mejor!

Hey Saturday!

Once again a perfect sunny weekend at the city… who said Autumn?

In today’s post I show you one of my favorite parts of Madrid Los Jeronimos church that is next to the Prado Museum. I love this church not just because its exterior architecture in light colors and beige marble and its grand staircase, but for the area in which it is located just in front of the most famous museum in Madrid. It is a must go place for both national and foreign tourists. I don’t know if you already know that the Prado Museum is free entrance on Sunday afternoons and is one of the plans that I like most to do my especially those Sundays in winter when you do not know what to do with those low temperatures.

For this wonderful stroll I chose my black ripped skinny jeans, a black ‘Homies’ t-shirt a checkered blazer in black and white and my color-blocked flats in black and white too matching the rest of the look. As you can see on the pics the touch of color came with my red studded shoulder bag.

For those of you who are watching the football match, Real Madrid-Barcelona, may the best win!

Personal Shopper at ABC Serrano: Lujans

¡Buenos días!

Como la mayoría ya sabréis siento llevar un par de días un poco “desconectada” pero he tenido un cólico nefrítico y ando con bastantes antibióticos, espero que se solucione todo pronto aunque hasta que no se expulse la piedra nada… Aún así sabéis también que tenía compromisos laborales ineludibles como mi sesión de personal shopper para el Centro Comercial ABC de Serrano que comenzó ayer con la primera tienda, Lujans.

Como la tarde se presentó bastante gris y fría escogí una falda midi plisada en verde botella, con un jersey de cuello vuelto negro y una blazer corta con cuadros grandes en blanco y negro. Como calzado mis oxfords de lengüeta larga en negro también.

Espero veros a los que ayer no pudisteis pasar en la siguiente cita que es el viernes que viene, día 24, a las 18:30h en Calzedonia.

Good Morning my friends!

I suppose that many of you already know that these last few days I’ve been a little bit “offline” because I have had a renal colic and I’m hang out with many antibiotics, I hope everything goes well soon but not until the ‘stone’ is out of my body… Actually I couldn’t update the blog yesterday. Regardless I still had unavoidable work events such as my personal shopper session for ABC Serrano Shopping Centre which started yesterday with the first store, Lujans.

As the afternoon was gray and cold I chose a pleated midi skirt in dark green with a black turtleneck sweater and a short checkered blazer in black and white. As shoes my oxfords in black long tongue too.

Hope to see those of you that couldn’t attend yesterday in the next date which actually is next Friday, the 24th, at 18:30h in Calzedonia store.

Saturday in a warehouse

¡Buenos días!

Como algunos me preguntasteis por este outfit os lo cuelgo rápidamente hoy.

Uno de los planes que suelo hacer cuando me quedo en Madrid los fines de semana es ir a Ikea. Ya se que suena raro pero siempre acabo metida en estos grandes almacenes o con mi madre, mi hermana, amigos, … La verdad es que me encanta recorrer los pasillos para ver las nuevas ideas y tendencias para el hogar aunque he de reconocer que la mayoría de las veces no me acabo llevando nada hahaha.

Para esta tarde que el tiempo no acompañaba mucho escogí un look muy de mi estilo: Una camisa blanca de nueva colección con mis también nuevos jeans slim fit en negro con cortes en las rodillas. Encima una blazer oversize en blanco y negro y como calzado mis oxford para este invierno. Todos los años acabo comprando calzado nuevo de este tipo porque al final es lo que más me pongo a diario. Un maxi bolso y un reloj fueron mis únicos accesorios.

Y ahora vamos a disfrutar de este soleado sábado porque seguro que quedan pocos. ¡Yo me voy de barbacoa! ¿y vosotros?

Morning people!

As some of you asked me about this outfit last saturday on my social networks I featured you here today.

One plan I usually do when I stay in Madrid at the weekend is to go to Ikea. I know it sounds weird but I always end up stuck in this big warehouse store with my mother, my sister, friends, … The truth is I love walking around the halls to see new ideas and trends for home although I must admit that most of the days I just don’t buy anything hahaha.

For this autumn afternoon where the weather was not much hot I chose a very look, as it is my style: a new collection white shirt combined with my ripped slim fit jeans in black. Above an oversize blazer in black and white and my also new oxfords for this winter. Every year I use to buy new oxfords kinda these ones because in the end they are what I wear daily. A maxi bag and a watch were my only accessories.

And now let’s enjoy this sunny saturday in Madrid because it might be one of the last ones. I’m going to a bbq! and you?

Back to work!

1 de Septiembre. Oficialmente se terminaron las vacaciones y la mayoría volvemos al trabajo, a la realidad. Todas las noches doy gracias a Dios de que para mi volver al trabajo sea algo positivo y alegre, aunque luego esté hasta arriba de cosas pero me encanta mi día a día, mi trabajo, la gente que forma parte de él… De verdad estoy muy agradecida por todo esto.

Y como volver al trabajo implica reuniones, clientes, etc. ya hay que ir pensando estilismos con los que vayamos a la última y que nos sirvan para ir a trabajar. Cuando vi este pantalón de pata de elefante pensé que era e perfecto para una reunión más arreglada. ¿A alguien se le ocurre por qué? Si si, porque aparte de ser un diseño que pienso que sienta bien a la mayoría de nosotras, es en blanco y negro, mi combinación favorita de colores. Por eso para que se llevase todo el protagonismo el pantalón lo combiné con un body negro de tirantes, un bolso color block en los mismos colores y mis mules negras. Como complementos opté por una chapa de plata muy especial para mi grabada con el nombre del blog “it girl” y unos brazaletes de plata también con el símbolo del infinito.

¿Qué os parece este look para un día de trabajo todavía con altas temperaturas?

September the 1st. Officially the holidays are over and most of us are back to work, back to reality. Every night I thank God for my return to work because to me is something positive and happy. Even when I’m so busy that I’m about to literally die, I love my daily life, my work, the people around me who are part of it… I’m really very grateful.

And it’s also time to start again having meetings, clients, etc. and we have to start thinking about the new trends and outfits that we can wear to go to work. When I saw this elephant leg pants I thought it was perfect for a meeting day. Anyone know why? That is, because apart from being a design that I think it suits most of us well, it is in black and white, my favorite color combination. So to concentrate all the attention on the pants I combined them with a black body, my color block bag in the same colors and my black mules. As complements I opted for a special silver plate tag engraved with the name of the blog “it girl” and a silver bracelets with the infinity symbol.

What do you think about this look for a working day still with high temperatures?

¡Buenos días amigos! ¿Cómo van vuestras vacaciones? Espero que ya todos disfrutando del sol y de días de relax.

Lunes y yo me despierto en Madrid… he venido un par de días antes de mi viaje a América para terminar cosas de trabajo y hace un calor bastante serio, ¡quiero volver a la playa!

Este es uno de los looks que me puse una de las tardes en Marbella para ir de shopping y que me dio tiempo de fotografiar. También habréis visto en mis redes sociales que me lo puse en Tarifa con una camisa encima y unas mules para salir por la noche.

En verano una de las cosas que más me gusta ponerme es pantalones cortos. Me parece que los shorts sientan bien a casi cualquier cuerpo y además dejan ver nuestras piernas bronceadas. Según las curvas que tengamos ponemos ponernos un crop top encima o un top un poco más largo como este blanco con ondas que llevo yo hoy. Ya sabéis que el mix de blanco y negro es mi favorito, un día más recurro a él y opté por estas sandalias planas de cordones en estos colores. Para romper la línea del b&w quise dar un toque de color con este clutch de playa que utilizo indistintamente a cualquier hora del día. Como complementos simplemente me puse dos relojes-pulsera con cristales de Swarovski y unas gafas negras de sol.

¿Os gusta esta idea para una tarde de compras o de paseo?

Morning my friends! How is going your summer? Hope you are enjoying the sun and relaxing these days.

Monday and I wake up in Madrid… I’m here for a couple of days before my trip to America to finish some work and have some meetings but today is a pretty serious heat day, I want to go to the beach!

This is one of the outfits I wore for a shopping afternoon in Marbella and that I had time to take pics of. Also you would have seen in my social networks that I wore it in Tarifa with a blue shirt over and mules for a night out.

In summer time one of the things that I like most is to wear shorts. I think that shorts suit well in almost any body and also show our tanned legs. According to the body that we have we can put on a crop top over or a little longer one as this white top with waves that I’m wearing. You know that the mix of black and white is my favorite, this is another day that I choose it and I opted for these flat sandals with laces in these colors. To break the line of b&w I wanted to give a touch of color to the outfit and I did it with this beach clutch that I use every day at any time. As complements I just wore two bracelet-watches with Swarovski crystals and my black sunglasses.

¡Buenos días! ¿Cómo va vuestra semana? La mía genial disfrutando mucho de mis vacaciones. Estos días estoy por Tarifa con mis amigas que me parece el mejor plan posible aunque dentro de poco tengo otros viajes que os iré contando…

La verdad es que para ser Tarifa está haciendo muy buen tiempo porque generalmente hacen bastante viento y por eso es una de las zonas del sur de España donde se practican más deportes acuáticos. La playa de Valdevaqueros y “El Tumbao” o “Tangana” son los chiringuitos de playa más conocidos pero también hay playas que merece la pena visitar como Punta Paloma o la playa de los Alemanes.

Bueno, analizando ya mi look de hoy he tenido que volver a recurrir a mi combinación de colores por excelencia: el blanco y negro. Este vestido que visteis que me puse la semana pasada para mi último día de trabajo en la ciudad es uno de mis favoritos. Es de una firma de diseñadores emergentes de Londres que siempre como en Top Shop de Oxford Circus en Londres. Me encantó nada más verlo porque es blanco con detalles de encaje negro en los hombros pero no se transparenta así que se puede llevar tanto para el día como para salir por las noches. Como calzado para caminar todo el día escogí mis bailarinas color block también en blanco y negro y un maxi bolso negro. Como accesorios mis brazaletes de plata con motivo infinito.

Good Morning! How’s going your week? Mine is going perfect! I’m enjoying a lot my holidays. These days I’m in a super funny trip with my friends in Tarifa, in the South os Spain. I think that is the best plan to start the holidays but I’ll be traveling to other countries soon so stay tuned…

The truth is that we are having a perfect weather for being in Tarifa because it usually does quite windy and that is one of the areas of southern Spain where most water sports are practiced. Valdevaquero’s beach and “Tumbao” or “Tangana” are the best known beach bars but there are also beaches that are worth visiting: Punta Paloma beach or the Germans beach.

Well, analyzing my look today and I had to come back again to my fav match of colors: black and white. This dress you saw me last week that I was wearing for my last day of work in the city is one of my favorites. It’s from a sign of emerging London designers that I always like and go to visit in Top Shop of Oxford Circus in London. I loved it because it is white with black lace detail on the shoulders but you can wear for both day and to go out at night because it doesn’t have transparencies As flats for walking all day I chose my color block flats also in white and a black maxi bag. As accessories my silver bracelets with my infinite design.

Preppy It Girl

‘It Girl’ o traducido al español, “chica de moda”. Ese es el nombre que escogí para mi blog porque lo vi muy comercial aparte de que en ese momento no se hablaba de otra cosa en los medios de comunicación. Por eso cuando encontré esta camiseta el año pasado tuve que comprármela porque no podía encajar mejor con mi nombre.

Que los boyfriend jeans han arrasado esta temporada es un hecho que todos hemos visto, pero es cierto que a veces no sientan del todo bien. A mi por lo menos me costó dar con unos que me quedasen bien de cintura aunque luego fuesen rectos hacia abajo. También me pasa que cuando me los pongo con zapato plano me veo más bajita porque son anchos de pierna por eso intento siempre combinarlos con una sandalia o cuña que me hagan más alta.

La semana pasada en el desfile de moda masculina de Mirto para la temporada Primavera/Verano 2015 que podéis ver AQUÍ nos repartieron unos coloridos pañuelos. Yo escogí uno blanco con flores en tonos azules porque pensé que sería muy fácil de combinar con vaqueros, shorts, y en general con ropa blanca sobre todo ahora en verano. Esta es la opción que se me ha ocurrido para ponérmelo con el look de hoy. Lo he utilizado con banda para el pelo y me he hecho un pequeño lazo delante consiguiendo un estilo muy preppy, ¿no creéis?

Por último y como os he comentado antes escogí unas cómodas cuñas que estilizasen más mi figura. Como complementos un bolso color block en blanco y negro a juego con la camiseta, mis gafas de sol negras y un maxi reloj en blanco.

‘It Girl’ or translated into Spanish, “chica de moda”. That’s the name I chose for my blog because I saw it very commercial and all the media where talking about the new it girl fashion icons. So when I found this t-shirt last year I had to bought it because it couldn’t fit better with my blog name.

Boyfriend jeans has rock it this season, is a fact, but it is also true that sometimes they do not feel quite well. To me at least I had a hard time to chose one of them because I wanted some that fit me right on the waist knowing that they are straight down then. It also happens to me that when I wear flat shoes with these kind of jeans I look even shorter so I always try to combine them with a wedge sandal to make me taller.

Last week at the Mirto menswear fashion show for Spring/Summer 2015 season that you can see HERE they bring us a colorful handkerchiefs. I chose a white one with blue flowers because I thought it would be very easy to match with jeans, shorts, and generally white clothes especially now in summer. This is the option that I chose to wear it for the first time with today’s look. I’ve used it as a hair band and I have made a small tie on top. It gives a very preppy style, don’t you think so?

Finally, as I have said before I chose a comfy wedges to stylize my body. As complementos I opted for this color block bag in black and white matching the t-shirt, my black leather sunglasses and a white maxi watch.

¡Hola hola!

El post de hoy es muy mañanero porque estoy entrando en el hospital ahora mismo. No os preocupéis porque como os comenté no es nada grave pero voy a estar un poco desconectada estos días… aunque intentaré que lo notéis lo menos posible.

Una vez más vuelvo a escoger mi mezcla favorita de colores, el blanco y el negro, como protagonistas de mi look. Como por las mañanas hace un poco de aire y más ayer que tuve que salir muy pronto de casa para un shooting, opté por ponerme una camisa de manga larga de cuadros blancos y negros que acabé subiéndome hasta el medio brazo. Unos cómodos jeans blancos como parte de abajo y para dar algo de altura y estilizar un poco la figura escogí mis mules, son las cuñas más cómodas que tengo porque no van atadas al pie y el tacón es ancho y no muy alto. El toque más lady vino de la mano de esta nueva pamela que no me voy a quitar este verano no sólo por el diseño tan chic sino porque me encanta que sea en b&w. Opté de nuevo por mis brazaletes XL de infinito en plata, unos anillos finos y un maxi bolso en negro.

Hi there!

I’ve published today’s post very early because I’m going to the hospital right now. Don’t worry because as I told you it’s nothing serious but I’ll be a little bit disconnected these few coming days… but I’ll try to be as active as possible.

Once again I chose my favorite colors mix, black and white, as protagonists of my look. As in the early morning the weather is still cold yesterday I had to go to work soon for a shooting so I was wearing a checkered shirt long sleeve in black and white that I ended up twinning until the middle arm. A pair of white comfy jeans and to give some height and some styling I chose my mules, my fav wedges which are the most comfortable I have because I don’t go tired because the heel is wide and not very high. The lady touch came from the hand of this new maxi hat that surely I will bring with me this summer; I love it not only for the chic design but because I like the b&w mix. I wore once again my XL infinity bracelets in silver, some thin rings and a black maxi bag.

Popped by Men Fashion Week

Una vez más hemos vivido la semana de la moda para ellos con los nuevos diseños para la Primavera/Verano 2015 pero esta vez no ha sido como las anteriores… No se si ha sido porque El Corte Inglés se ha metido de por medio pero desde luego estos modelos tan guapos, altos y sobre todo simpáticos no son a lo que yo por lo menos estaba acostumbrada a ver en anteriores ediciones. Os dejo fotos con algunos de ellos y este fin de semana haremos un repaso de alguno de los desfiles que más me han gustado a mi, ¡así que estad atentos!

En las fotos salgo también con mi compi y amigo Carlos Arnelas que además es blogger oficial de ECI y con mi amigo Luis Yanes que sólo puedo decir que es un crack.

Como venía directa de una grabación para mis joyas favoritas, Ararat by Yanes, no me dio tiempo de cambiarme de ropa. Por lo tanto llevo un vestido color block en blanco y negro donde la falda es lisa y el cuerpo es de tirantes con pequeños volantes. Opté por mis sandalias de cordones en estampado de serpiente y cómo no por un anillo y una combinación de pulseras muy original mezclando brazaletes anchos con pulseras de tornillo. Como siempre un maxi bolso para poder meter todos mis imprescindibles del día a día.

Espero que paséis un buen día y fin de semana y mañana acordaros de revisar la sección de chico para conocer las nuevas propuestas de los diseñadores españoles de cara al verano que viene.

Once again we have attended the men fashion week with the new designs for the Spring/Summer 2015 but this time it has not been like the last year… I don’t know if it was because El Corte Inglés has gotten in between but of course these very handsome, tall and mostly friendly models are not what I was used to see in the last previous editions. I show you some pics with some of them and this weekend we will review some of the shows that I liked most, so stay tuned!

In the pics I’m also with my cool friend Carlos Arnelas who actually is an official blogger of ECI and my super friend Luis Yanes which I only can say that is a top.

As I came directly from a shooting with my favorite jewelry brand, Ararat by Yanes, I didn’t have time to change my clothes. So I was wearing a color block dress in black and white where the skirt is smooth and the body is a top with small wavelets. I chose my sandals with laces in snake print and how not a ring and these very original combination of bracelets in gold, silver, and rose gold. Always a maxi bag to bring with me my essentials for the day a day.
