LA Diary, #001

Vale vale, pero tengo una pregunta para ti: ¿qué es lo que te hace realmente feliz? Y no me refiero a ir por la vida medio feliz. No. Me refiero a qué te provoca esa sonrisa enorme en tu cara, qué te hace sentir mariposas en el estómago, qué te hace vivir en una nube, qué te hace levantarte cada mañana con ganas de comerte el mundo, qué hace que nunca pierdas la toalla, que nunca te rindas. Eso, sea una persona, un animal, una cosa, un momento… es lo que tienes que perseguir y visualizar a diario Marta.

Esta pregunta me la hago muchos días cuando me levanto en un ‘mood’ menos ‘happy’ de lo normal. Y a mí me funciona. Ayer mismo me la recordaba uno de mis mejores amigos al que tantas veces se la he repetido yo.

A mí me hace feliz estar con mi familia; no hace falta que estemos hablando todo el rato, simplemente estar a su lado. Me hace feliz salir con mis amigos, hacer el tonto con ellos, cantar, gritar, no tener vergüenza de nada. Me hace inmensamente feliz ver el atardecer tirada en una playa con los pies descalzos, simplemente observando el sol esconderse y las olas ir y venir. Dar las gracias por un día más disfrutando de esta vida. Me hace feliz ver felices a otros, sobre todo a gente que se lo merece, y me da ‘envidia sana’ ver cómo millones de personas en el mundo son felices con muy poco. Me hace feliz estos días pasear por el pier de Santa Monica y de Venice Beach, mis lugares favoritos de LA. Me hace feliz disfrutar de mí misma, sola, que no tiene nada que ver con que me guste la soledad; es ser inteligente emocionalmente y aprender a vivir feliz y bien primero con uno mismo antes de dejar entrar a nadie más. Me hace feliz mi trabajo; es más, me encanta mi trabajo aunque trabaje 24/7 pero doy gracias por poder trabajar en lo que más me gusta del mundo y por teneros a todos vosotros a mi lado. Me hace feliz ver a dos personas que se quieren, sean del sexo que sean, sin amor no podría vivir, no podría ser yo del todo.

Os dejo con este ¡popurrí’ de fotos de mis primeros días en LA chicos. Y os invito a que os hagáis esta pregunta a vosotros mismos sobre todo los días que estés más ‘de bajón’ porque es una buena forma de saber lo que os hace felices en la vida y de perseguir vuestros sueños.

Okay, okay, but I have a question for you: what really makes you happy? And I don’t mean being half happy. No. I mean what causes you that huge smile on your face, what makes you feel butterflies in the stomach, what makes you live in a cloud, what makes you wake up every morning wanting to do your best and show it to the world, what makes you never give up. That, a person, an animal, a thing, a moment,… is what you have to focus on and visualize every day Marta.

I use to ask this question to myself many days when I get up in a mood less happy than normal. And it works for me. Yesterday it remembered me one of my best friends whom I have repeated it so many times.

It makes me happy to be with my family; we do not have to be talking all the time, just being there together. It makes me happy to go out with my friends, play, dance, sing, scream, and go crazy with them, not being ashamed of anything. It makes me immensely happy to see the sunset lying on a beach bare feet, just watching the sun going down and the waves come and go. I’m thankful for one more day enjoying this life. It makes me happy to see others happy, especially people who deserve it, and it gives me ‘healthy envy’ to see how millions of people in the world are happy with very little. It makes me happy these days to stroll along the pier of Santa Monica and Venice Beach, my favorite places in LA. It makes me happy to enjoy myself, alone, that has nothing to do with solitude; it is just to be emotionally intelligent and learn to live happily and well first with oneself before letting anyone else in. It makes me so happy my job, I don’t care if I have to work 24/7 but I’m thankful for working on what I like the most in the world and for having you all by my side. It makes me happy to see two people loving each other, whatever sex they are, without love I could not live, I could not be me at all.

I leave you now with this mix of photos of my first days in LA guys. And I invite you to ask this question to yourselves especially on the days that you are more down because it is a good way to know what makes you happy in life and to pursue your dreams.

Sochi, part II

Así estábamos de contentas Mercedes y yo el segundo día en Sochi sin saber lo que nos esperaba el día siguiente… hahaha ahora os lo cuento.

Este día decidimos pasear por la zona del estadio donde más tarde jugó la selección Mexicana y cogimos unas bicis ya que todo está cerca y es mejor ir recorriendo la ciudad así para poder parar donde quieras a hacer fotos. Como veis el estadio está muy cerquita del mar y están ya preparando todo para el mundial del año que viene. Es un paseo bastante bonito para ir paseando o en bici como os digo.

Tuvimos también suerte de que, para estar en Rusia, el tiempo era perfecto, por lo que me puse unos shorts con un body y zapatillas y lista.

Bueno, os cuento lo que nos pasó el día siguiente… teníamos que volar de Sochi a Moscú. Después de un par de horas de retraso del vuelo salimos, es un vuelo corto de apenas 2h, pero cuando estamos llegando a Moscú al parecer había una tormenta muy fuerte por lo que el piloto después de dar un rato vueltas “por las nubes”, decidió volar a un pueblecito cercano (a 1 hora) para ver si se pasaba la tormenta… 3 horas estuvimos en una pista sin salir del avión, hasta que nos sacaron para volar al día siguiente. Pasamos la noche tirados en unas salas de un hotel cercano con una compañía muy buena la verdad, eso fue lo mejor de esta bendita experiencia. Y sí, siempre me pasa algo cuando viajo, pero es que no viajo una vez al año, ¡viajo una vez a la semana! por lo tanto es normal que acaben sucediendo cosas que no podemos prever basadas en factores externos como este.

En fin, que espero volver el año que viene para el Mundial y contaros más cositas nuevas desde allí.

So we were as happy as you can see me in these pics, Mercedes and me, the second day in Sochi without knowing what awaited us the next day… hahaha now I’m gonna tell you.

This day we decided to stroll around the stadium where the Mexican team later played and we rode bikes since everything is close there and it is better to go touring the city so that you can stop wherever you want to take photos. As you can see the stadium is very close to the sea and they are already preparing everything for the World Cup next year. It is a pretty walk to go walking or cycling as I say.

We were also lucky that, to be in Russia, the weather was perfect, so I put on my denim shorts with a white body and sneakers, comfy and basic.

Well, I tell you what happened to us the next day… we had to fly from Sochi to Moscow. After a couple of hours of flight delay we took off finally, it is a short flight of just 2h, but when we are arriving to Moscow there was apparently a very strong storm so the pilot after a while laps up “in the clouds”, decided to fly to a nearby village (1 hour away) to see if the storm calms down… 3 hours we were inside the plane in this new airport in the middle of nowhere, until we finally were taken out of the aircraft until the next day. We spent the night lying in some rooms of a nearby hotel with a really good company, that was the best part of this crazy experience. And yes, something always happens to me when I’m traveling, but I do not travel once a year, I travel once a week! So it is normal to end up happening things that we can not predict based on external factors like this.

Anyway, I hope to come back next year for the World Cup and tell you more new things from there.

Geneva, day 2

Sábado en Ginebra. Tuvimos la gran suerte de que para este día al aire libre saliese el sol.

Nos levantamos y cogimos el cómodo tranvía para llegar a las afueras de la ciudad y visitar en bici los viñedos. ¡Qué excursión tan bonita! Además cogimos bicis eléctricas que la verdad es que ayudan un poquito más en las subidas: E-bike. Yo como siempre iba liderando el “equipo tortuga” porque como sabéis voy con 3 cámaras: el móvil para ir haciendo algún Stories cuando puedo, la cámara reflex para las fotos del blog y de mis redes sociales y la compacta para los vídeos de mi canal… ¡todo un show!

Y por fin ha llegado el gran día. Me operan de la vista hoy. Es una operación bastante sencilla y rápida que además no tiene post-operatorio por lo que no tengo ningún miedo aunque siempre se va un poco nervioso a estas cosas. Pero esto segura de que todo saldrá bien y de que mañana tendré vista de lince como me habéis dicho alguno haha. Y por cierto mil gracias por todo los mensajes de apoyo y tan bonitos, ¡sois los mejores! Os iré contando todo lo que pueda a través de mis redes sociales y también prepararé un vídeo donde os explicaré y enseñaré todo.

Saturday morning in Geneva. Finally the sun shone bright for our countryside day.

We took the comfortable tram to get outside of the city and we started our bike tour through the vineyards. What a beautiful excursion! Also we took electric bikes that really help a little bit more during the way up: E-bike. Me, as always, was leading the “turtle team” because as you know I go with 3 cameras: the mobile phone to do some Stories whenever I can, the reflex camera for the photos of the blog and my social networks and the compact camera for my tv channel videos…. what a show!

And finally the big day has arrived. I’m operating my eyes today. It is a really simple and quick operation that also has no post-operative so I have no fear but you always are a little bit nervous with these things. But I’m pretty sure that everything is going to be perfect and tomorrow I will have a lynx view as some of you have said to me haha. By the way, thank you so much for all your lovely and supporting message, you are the best! I will tell you everything I can through my social networks and also I’m preparing a video for my channel where I will explain and show you everything.

¡VIERNES!

De nuevo finde y yo me voy otra vez de viaje, esta vez a la costa española, a la playita, ¡a Valencia!

Me encanta Valencia, sus playas, mis amigos de allí… así que antes de volverme la semana que viene a los Angeles quería pasarme por allí el finde para descansar y también para asistir mañana al concierto de Taburete. ¿Quién viene?

Anoche estuve con mis amigas en el evento que organizó Pull&Bear en la tienda principal de Madrid con motivo de la presentación de la nueva colección de ropa diseñada por Marc Márquez… ¡y vaya momentazo! No sabía que se iba a acercar tanta gente y tampoco sabía que tenía tantos seguidores tan fieles. ¡Me encantó conoceros a todos! Espero ir viendo las fotos que hicimos en vuestras redes sociales.

Os quería enseñar hoy el último look que escogí para la fría semana de la moda de París. Muchas veces ya sabéis que viajamos con amigos que nos hacen fotos, aunque la mayoría de las bloggers llevan a su novio u hermano. Yo siempre suelo viajar con amigos que me parece más divertido y si no me encuentro a amigos fotógrafos con Asaf, que me hace siempre fotos tan bonitas como estas.

Escogí un conjunto de top y falda negros con encaje y flecos y calcetines rotos con mis zapatos negros de tachuelas. El toque de color lo conseguí con el bolso en tonos azules y rosas.

El lunes os sigo contando más cositas de mi último viaje.

FRIDAY, FRIYAY!

Weekend again and I’m traveling this time to the Spanish coast, to the beach, to Valencia!

I love Valencia, its beaches, my friends there… so before returning next week to Los Angeles I wanted to stop by the weekend there to relax and also to go to Taburete’s concert tomorrow. Who is coming?

Last night I was with my friends at the event that organized Pull & Bear at the flag ship store in Madrid for the presentation of the new collection of clothes designed by Marc Márquez… what a crazy and fun moment! I did not know that so many people were going to come and I did not know that I had so many lovely followers… I loved meeting you all! I hope to see the photos we took on your social networks soon.

I wanted to show you today the last look I chose for the cold Paris Fashion Week. Many times you know that we travel with friends who take us pictures, although most of the bloggers travel with their boyfriends or brothers. I usually travel with friends because I find more fun and if I do not I use to meet my photographer friends like Asaf, who always takes me amazing pictures as these beautiful ones.

I chose a combination of black top and skirt with lace and fringes and socks with holes with my black studded heels. The touch of color came with my snake print bag in blue and pink.

On Monday I will keep on telling you more things about my last trip.

PFW, day 1

¡Bonjour Paris!

Día 1 de la semana de la moda francesa.

Paso de estar en manga corta a casi 20 grados durante el día (en Los Angeles), a estar posando sin abrigo a 5 grados de temperatura en el frío de París… lógico y normal me vienen las anginas, pero ya estoy completamente recuperada gracias al antibiótico.

Menudos días de carreras, lluvia, maquillaje por aquí y por allá, retocarse mil veces al día, shootings y más shootings, desfiles, atascos, uber para arriba y uber para abajo, cenas infinitas, fiestas… de verdad que esto es para vivirlo porque acabas agotado. Sin embargo ¿qué es lo que más me gusta de ir a las semanas de la moda aparte de poder conocer las colecciones y nuevas tendencias en primicia? Lo que más me gusta es reencontrarme con mis amigos como en este caso donde salgo con mi amiga Maja con la que he pasado esta semana aquí en París. En estas fotos salimos de comer del restaurante que está en Palais de Tokyo, Monsieur Bleu, y estábamos apunto de entrar en uno de nuestros primeros desfiles. Casi todos los desfiles han tenido lugar en el Palais de Tokyo o en Grand Palais.

Este es el look que escogí para mi primer día de la Fashion Week: falda de tul con mil volantes en negro, crop top de manga larga dorado, bolso a juego y mis botas de agua con tacón y transparentes que agradezco haber metido a última hora en la maleta ya que me han venido genial para estos días parisinos tan lluviosos.

Y hoy es mi último día en París así que voy a aprovechar para hacer las últimas fotos, compras, cafés con amigos, …

Bonjour Paris!

Day 1 of Paris Fashion Week.

I have come from being in short sleeves at almost 20 degrees during the day (in Los Angeles), to be posing without any coat with 5 degrees of temperature in the cold streets of Paris… obviously I get sick soon, but I am completely recovered today thanks to the antibiotics.

Super crazy days, non stop raining, makeup all day long, retouching a thousand times a day, shootings and more shootings, fashion shows, traffic jams, uber up and uber down, endless dinners, parties… you have to really live it to see how stressful it is. I’m completely exhausted. However, what I like the most about going to fashion weeks apart from being able to get to know the collections and new trends in the first place, is to meet my friends from all around the world. On this pics I’m with my friend Maja with whom I have spent this week here in Paris. In these photos we just finish our lunch at the restaurant in Palais de Tokyo, Monsieur Bleu ( I do recommend it to you), and we were about to enter one of our first shows. Almost all the shows have taken place at Palais de Tokyo or at Grand Palais.

This is the look I chose for my first day of Fashion Week: black tulle skirt combined with a gold crop with long sleeves, matching with my bag and my water transparent boots that I’m happy to have brought them with me in the last moment as they are perfect for these rainy days in the French capital.

And today is my last day here in Paris so I’m going to take the last pictures here, do my last shopping, have a coffee with my friends,…

West Hollywood

¡VIERNES!

He conseguido superar esta súper semana, no se cómo, pero por fin llegó el viernes.

Ayer fue un día bastante largo de trabajo, pero me lo pasé genial y cerré proyectos que estoy deseando contaros. Por la mañana tuvimos 3 reuniones para acciones que pronto veréis. Después entrevisté al grupo Taburete para mi canal de Youtube, que es por lo que más me estáis preguntando todos. El domingo estará la entrevista completa en mi canal MARTACARRIEDO.TV . ¡Os va a encantar! Después les entrevisté también para Non Stop People, en mi sección de la vida de un influencer. Por último fui a la presentación del nuevo disco de Sara Serena, “Skyline”, que menuda voz que tiene con sólo 18 años.

Así que después de una semana así hoy he decidido tomarme un día de “descanso” y aunque trabajaré por la tarde ahora me voy a ir a hacerme la manicura y pedicura como siempre en My Little Momo, donde mejor me cuidan, para llevarla perfecta para la Fashion Week de París la semana que viene. Después tengo cita por fin en Sam See, el centro donde voy siempre a darme masajes para recuperarme del estrés diario, y estoy deseando llegar y que me “arreglen” la espalda. ¡Qué gusto!

Y me despido con otro de mis looks y fotos de mi barrio en Los Angeles: West Hollywood, más conocido coloquialmente como “We Ho” (por aquello de abreviar las palabras). Es una zona muy tranquila y segura como ya os he comentado en otras ocasiones donde podéis ver que las casas son ideales con pequeños porches y luego jardines traseros. Me encantan las casas pintadas de varios colores, los columpios en el porche, los coches antiguos…

Llevo jeans estilo boyfriend con camisa de rayas y volantes que me voy a poner bastante, es muy de mi estilo. Sandalias, que allí las temperaturas ya lo permiten, y mi bolso multicolor a juego.

FRIDAY!

I can’t believe I finally managed to overcome this super long week for me, but finally it is here, Friyay!

Yesterday was a pretty long day of work, but I had a great time and signed projects that I’m looking forward to tell you and show you. In the morning we had 3 meetings for actions that you will soon discover. Then I interviewed the music group “Taburete” for my Youtube channel, which is why most you are asking me about. On Sunday afternoon you will have the complete interview on my TV channel MARTACARRIEDO.TV. You’ll love it! Then I also interviewed them for Non Stop People tv channel, in my section of an influencer’s lifestyle. Finally I went to the presentation of Sara Serena’s new album, “Skyline”, which has a fab voice with only 18 years old.

So after a week like this today I decided to take a day of “rest” and although I will work in the afternoon now I’m going to go to do my manicure and pedicure as always at My Little Momo, where they better take care of me, to have it perfect for The Fashion Week in Paris next week. Then I finally have a date at Sam See, the center where I always go to have the best massages to recover from the daily stress, and I’m looking forward to getting my back “fixed”. What a pleasure!

And here you have another of my looks and photos of my neighborhood in Los Angeles: West Hollywood, better known as “We Ho” (to shorten the words). It is a very quiet and safe area as I have told you in other occasions where you can see that lovely the houses with small porches and also back gardens. I love painted houses in different colors, swings at the entrance, old cars…

I wear boyfriend style jeans with a striped shirt that I’m going to wear a lot because it’s very much my style. Sandals, because there in LA the temperatures already allow it, and my matching multicolored bag.

Coronado island

¡Buenos días familia!

Como sabéis estoy en San Francisco con mis amigos Sylvia y Carlos, que hemos venido 4 días para conocer esta ciudad. Es la primera vez que visitamos los tres esta ciudad californiana y la verdad es que nos está encantado.

Seguimos con nuestra rutina de trabajar por la noche y por las mañanas súper pronto para poder aprovechar las horas de luz e ir a hacer fotos y vídeos por el día.

Las fotos que os enseño hoy son en la isla de Coronado, más concretamente en Mission Bay. Es una zona al lado de una base militar que recibe este nombre debido a las operaciones militares españolas que se llevaron a cabo aquí. Las casitas (o casazas) que veis en estas fotos son literalmente de película. ¿Quién no querría tener una casa de estas en una pequeña isla en frente del mar?

Una vez más escogí tonos claros ya que los días tan soleados y las buenas temperaturas me incitan siempre a llevar prendas blancas y en tonos pastel. Llevo unos vaqueros de pitillo blancos y un jersey oversize en nude trenzado en la espalda.

Uno de mis momentos favoritos en la vida, aparte de relajarme en una playa a tomar el sol, es pasear descalza por la arena, sobre las olas… Me produce una calma interior, paz y sobre todo una felicidad indescriptibles. Me encanta aprender a disfrutar de estos pequeños momentos que me dan tanta alegría y energía.

Quería haber compartido con vosotros el vídeo que tocaba ayer, domingo, al canal, pero parece que tengo un serio problemas con las conexiones en este país… peeero he dejado el vídeo subiéndose toda la noche y ya lo tenéis listo en el canal. Os lo dejo aquí también aunque prepararé un post especial en el blog donde os contaré más detalles y os enseñaré más fotos del vestido.

Os deseo un feliz comienzo de semana y espero vuestros comentarios sobre este look y el look que llevé a la premiere.

Good morning family!

As you would know I am currently in San Francisco with my friends Sylvia and Carlos. We have come 4 days to discover this city. It is the first time we have visited this Californian city and the truth is that we are enjoying it so much.

We continue with our American working routine of working at night and in the mornings very early to be able to take advantage of the light and sun hours to make photos and videos during the day.

The photos I show you today are at Coronado Island, more specifically in Mission Bay. It is an area next to a military base that received this name due to the Spanish military operations that were carried out here. The houses (or super houses) that you see in these photos are literally like from a movie. Who would not want to have a house in these small island just in front of the sea?

Once again I chose light colors for a sunny day with good temperatures, it always incites me to wear white and pastel clothes. I’m wearing white skinny ripped jeans and an oversize sweater in nude braided at the back.

One of my favorite moments in life, aside from relaxing sunbathing at the beach, is to walk barefoot on the sand, with the waves… It produces an inner calm, peace and above all an indescribable happiness. I love learning every day how to enjoy these little moments that give me so much joy and energy in my life.

I wanted to have shared with you yesterday my last video on my tv channel as it was Sunday, but it seems that I have serious problems with the connections in this country… lol. But I have left the video uploading all night and you already have it ready on my tv channel. I leave it here too although I will prepare a special post on the blog where I will tell you more details about this special event and will show you more pictures of my complete outfit.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

¡¡¡ FELIZ AÑO NUEVO FAMILIA !!!

¡Bienvenido 2017! Espero que todos hayáis tenido un buen comienzo de año.

Quería que este post fuese especial, al ser el primero del año, por eso quise sacar tiempo ayer para ir a uno de mis hoteles favoritos de Madrid, el hotel Only You, para hacer las fotos con el look que llevé en nochevieja y poder enseñároslo todo mejor.

Yo, siguiendo mi tradición familiar, me tomé las 12 uvas pidiendo 12 deseos, uno por cada una de ellas. Espero que al menos los más importantes se cumplan aunque trabajaré duro y me esforzaré para que así sea.

No pretendo que este sea el típico post largo donde os hablo de mis reflexiones… hoy no es uno de esos días (menos mal haha).

Simplemente quiero deciros varias cosas, consejos, que yo misma me voy a aplicar para este nuevo año.

Todo año nuevo de una forma u otra es un nuevo comienzo. Son nuevas oportunidades. Nuevas experiencias. Nuevas personas que llegan a nuestras vidas. Nuevos viajes y lugares por descubrir… Y lo que yo me he propuesto es vivirlo todo al máximo. Con alegría y con una sonrisa siempre. Quiero aprender a centrarme en el HOY que es lo que realmente tenemos y muchas veces no valoramos. El pasado pasado está. El futuro es incierto porque nadie sabe lo que nos depara el mañana. Por lo tanto lo único que podemos disfrutar realmente y aprovechar es cada día e intentar que sea lo mejor posible.

Ahora mismo estoy en un momento inmensamente feliz de mi vida… y lloro. Lloro de alegría pero también de miedo. Lloro mientras escribo estas palabras porque no me puedo creer la gran suerte que tengo con todo: salud, trabajo, amor, familia, amigos… pero entonces me entra el miedo. Tengo miedo de que todo se desmorone en un momento… ¿Pero sabéis qué? Que estoy aprendiendo a superarlo porque estoy entendiendo que cuando haces las cosas bien en la vida, cuando te rodeas de gente positiva que solo te suma y que te quieren “bien”, entonces la probabilidad de que te pasen cosas malas disminuye. Creo que esto es como un estilo de vida: ver siempre la botella medio llena. Y con lo afortunada que soy no pienso quedarme llorando por las esquinas. Llorar de alegría es bueno sí, además yo siempre digo que llorar es bueno para desahogarnos, pero ya está. Expulsamos todos los sentimientos, nos limpiamos la cara, sonreímos y seguimos adelante.

Ahora toca redactar nuestras listas de propósitos para 2017 y lo más difícil: intentar cumplirlos. Yo voy a trabajar mucho y muy duro para cumplir los míos, para seguir luchando por mis sueños. ¿Y vosotros?

Me despido diciendoos que OS QUIERO. ¡OS QUIERO DE VERDAD! Me encantan todo los mensajes directos, comentarios, mails, … que me habéis enviado por Navidad y año nuevo, y me encanta poder ayudaros a todos de una u otra forma cada día. Me encanta sobre todo leer esos mensajes en los que me decís que os he ayudado con algo en concreto o que os alegro los días… ese es mi principal objetivo y ver que lo voy cumpliendo es una parte muy importante de mi felicidad. ¡GRACIAS A TODOS!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FAMILY!!!

Welcome 2017! I hope you all had a good start of the year.

I wanted this post to be very special, being the first one of the year, so I wanted to have enough time to go to one of my favorite hotels in Madrid, Only You Hotel, to take these photos with the look I was wearing for New Year’s Eve to show you every little detail better.

Following my family tradition, I took the 12 grapes asking for 12 wishes, one for each one. I hope that at least the most important ones will be fulfilled, although I will work hard and I will do my best to do so.

I do not pretend this post to be the typical long post where I talk about my thoughts… today is not one of those days (lucky you haha).

I just want to tell you some things, personal tips, that I will apply to myself too for this new year.

Every new year in one form or another is like a new beginning. It brings new opportunities. New experiences. New people who will come into our lives. New trips and places to discover… and what I have proposed to myself is to live everything to the fullest. With joy and with a smile always. I want to learn to focus on TODAY, which is what we really have and we don’t often value. The past is in the past. The future is uncertain because no one knows what tomorrow holds for us. So the only thing we can truly enjoy and we really have is today, every day, and we should try to make it the best possible.

Right now I am in an immensely happy moment of my life… and I cry. I cry of happiness but also because I’m scared. I cry while I write these words because I can not believe the great luck I have with everything: health, work, love, family, friends… but then I here comes the fear. I’m afraid that everything will fall apart in just a moment… But you know what? I am learning to overcome it because I am understanding that when you do things right in life, when you surround yourself with positive people who just add you and love you “well”, then the probability of bad things happening decreases. I think this is like a lifestyle: always seeing the bottle half full. And with how lucky I am I will not stay crying around the corners. Cry of joy is good of course, besides I always say that crying is good to recover and to expel everything, but that’s all. We expelled all feelings, wiped our faces, put on a big smile and moved on.

Now it is time to write our lists of purposes for 2017 and the most difficult thing: to try to fulfill them. I am going to work hard to fulfill mine, to keep fighting for my dreams. Aren’t you?

And finally I want to tell you that I LOVE YOU. I DO LOVE YOU!!! I love all the direct messages, comments, emails,… that you have sent me for Christmas and New Year, and I love being able to help you in one way or another every day. I especially love reading those messages in which you tell me that I have helped you with something in particular or that I make your days happier. That is my main objective and to see that I am fulfilling it is a very important part of my happiness. THANK YOU ALL!!!

¡Buenos días familia! ¡Y buenos días Invierno!

Ya estamos a 21 de Diciembre, día oficial del comienzo del Invierno, ya era hora ¿no? Porque hace unos meses que sacamos ya los abrigos… hehe.

Me encanta esta época del año. Y pienso que desde el punto de vista de la moda también es mucho mejor. En verano solemos llevar poca ropa, con unos shorts y una camiseta estamos listos. Ahora podemos jugar mucho más con accesorios, camisas, jerseys, abrigos, bufandas… Aparte de que ya sabéis que la Navidad es mi época favorita del año porque aunque sólo sea “aparentemente” la gente parece que se vuelve más buena y humana, y eso me gusta.

Los primeros días en Londres me alojé en un hotel precioso en el que no había estado todavía. Ya visteis las vistas desde mi ventana. Es el hotel The Halkin dentro del cual también se encuentra el restaurante Estrella Michelin Ametsa de nuestro querido cocinero español Arzak, muy recomendables ambos.

Las fotos de hoy las hicimos en la zona de Chelsea. Como siempre voy corriendo a todas partes no suelo tener tiempo muchas veces para pararme a pensar en localizaciones bonitas pero esta vez decidí acercarme a la zona donde vive mi amiga Ana (quien me hizo estas maravillosas fotos), y poder disfrutar de un “background” muy londinense.

Ahora me voy corriendo a grabar un proyecto muy especial e importante que estoy deseando contaros y enseñaros… ¡qué nervios!

Good morning family! And good morning, Winter!

We are already on December 21st so officially Winter season has started finally! But we have already been wearing winter clothes and coats since some months ago… hehe.

I love this time of year. And I think that from the point of view of fashion is also so much better. In summer we usually wear few clothes, with shorts and a t-shirt we are ready. Now we can play much more with accessories, shirts, sweaters, coats, scarves… Apart from that you already know that Christmas is my favorite time of the year because even if it is only “apparently” people seem to become more human and good, and I like that.

The first days in London I stayed in a lovely hotel where I had not been before. You saw the amazing views from my window. It is The Halkin Hotel which also has inside the Michelin Star restaurant Ametsa, from our beloved Spanish chef Arzak, highly recommended both.

We took photos this day in Chelsea area. As I always go running everywhere I do not usually have enough time to stop and think about the best location for each outfit but this time I decided to approach the area where my friend Ana lives (who took me these wonderful photos), and to enjoy a very London background.

Now I’m going to record a very special and important project that I’m looking forward to tell you and show you… I’m so excited, wish me luck!

To be honest

¡Buenos días desde casita de nuevo!

Como me gusta ser lo más transparente, cercana y sincera posible con vosotros, lo voy a ser una vez más.

Ya sabéis lo que me ha costado llegar hasta aquí, no ha sido un camino fácil por mucho que lo parezca en las fotos y en los vídeos. Detrás hay muchas horas de trabajo, mil noches sin dormir, millones de lágrimas y llantos y ganas de dejarlo todo… y sobre todo gente que se porta muy mal contigo y que no hace las cosas bien, que no va de frente. Pero supongo que gracias a mi familia, amigos cercanos y a vosotros al final no he tirado la toalla, al menos por ahora, ya sabéis #NeverGiveUp.

El caso es que la semana pasada tenía varias reuniones con marcas importantes en Londres con las que llevo colaborando desde hace bastante tiempo como Asos, rewardStyle o LK Bennett. Han ido muy bien así que puedo darme por satisfecha. Pero lo que quería contaros hoy es la especial ilusión que me hizo recibir la invitación de la marca de lujo Bulgari. La invitación era para acudir a un evento en la boutique de la firma donde hablamos del papel de la mujer en el cine entre otras cosas. Además conocimos los bolsos de nueva colección y a mi me entregaron este en tonos azules, negros y rosas que ya habéis visto en mis redes sociales. Me encanta la verdad y estoy muy contenta de poder haber colaborado con una marca así.

Con eso os quiero decir hoy que por mucho que haya personas que intenten que todo nos vaya mal, que tengan envidia o que siempre tengan una actitud negativa ante la vida, lo único que podemos hacer es alejarles de nosotros. He comprobado que la gente no cambia. Los que no se alegran a hora de nuestros logros nunca lo harán, así que mejor sacarles cuanto antes y rodearnos sólo de gente alegre y que nos sume, de buenas energías.

Esta tarde voy a hacerme un nuevo tattoo, me hace mucha ilusión aunque es uno pequeñito como todos los míos, así que en cuanto pueda os lo enseñaré.

Good morning from home again!

As I like to be as transparent, close and as sincere as possible with you, I am going to be honest one more time.

You know what it has cost me to be here where I am right now, it has not been an easy way however it seems so on my pics and videos. Behind there are many hours of work, a thousand nights without sleeping, millions of tears and tears and desire to leave everything… and especially people who behave very badly with you and do not do things right, people who want to bring you down. But I guess thanks to my family, close friends and of course you in the end I have not thrown the towel, at least for now, you know my fav quote #NeverGiveUp.

The fact is that last week I had several meetings with important brands in London with whom I have been collaborating for some time like Asos, rewardStyle or LK Bennett. They have gone very well so I can be satisfied. But what I wanted to tell you today is the special illusion that made me receive the invitation of the luxury brand Bulgari. The invitation was to attend an event at their boutique there where we talked about the role of women in the cinema among other things. In addition to this we discovered the new collection and I got this one in t he pics with shades of blue, black and pink that you have already seen on my social networks. I love it so much and the truth is that I am very happy to have collaborated with such a brand.

With all these I want to tell you today that no matter how many people try to make things worse for you there will always people with negative attitude towards life, all we can do is to keep them away from us. I have found that people do not change. Those who are not happy for us now will never be, so better get them out of our lives as soon as possible and surround ourselves only with cheerful people who want to add us good things, good vibes only.

This afternoon I’m going to make a new tattoo, it makes me very excited even though it’s a small one like all mine, so as soon as I can, I’ll show you.
