Khaki green

Aprovechando una localización tan chula como estas vías de tren abandonadas que os enseñé ayer, me llevé otro look que quería enseñaros porque ya sabéis que voy a mil y no tengo tiempo de nada…

Hoy vuelvo a escoger el verde militar combinado con blanco pero en un look un poco más arriesgado. Sabéis que soy una gran fan de los bodies porque pienso que sientan fenomenal a cualquier cuerpo: si eres delgada te los puedes poner con pantalones ajustados de pitillo y si tienes más curvas con unos pantalones de tiro alto estilo “mom” como estos que llevo yo hoy disimularemos las zonas más “problemáticas”. El problema de este tipo de pantalones es que si los llevas con zapato plano y eres bajita como yo, te harán aún más baja. Por eso yo me los he puesto con unas sandalias cómodas de tacón ancho que estilizan mucho más la figura.

Además sabéis que no soy de llevar joyas, por eso las que llevo tienen que ser siempre de mi estilo y muy finas y discretas. Estas son de mis últimas adquisiciones con cruces, ¡cómo no!

Me voy corriendo a seguir con el día de locos que tengo hoy que no acabará hasta las 22h como mínimo… Os cuento todo como siempre en directo en mi Snapchat: itgirlmarta.

Taking advantage of such a cool location like these bandoned train tracks that I showed you yesterday, I took another look that I wanted to show you because you know I have no time for anything else…

Today I have chosen the military green again combined with white but in a slightly more risky look. You know I’m a big fan of bodies because I think they suit perfectly to any body: if you are thin you can wear them with skinny jeans or boyfriend’s but if you have more curves with a pair of “mom” jeans like these ones that I show you today you will be perfect and you will hide the most “problematic” areas. The problem with this kind of pants is that if you wear flat shoes and you are short like me, you will seem even lower. So I’ve put on my sandals with comfortable wide heels that stylise so much more our body.

Besides you know I don’t use to wear jewelry, that’s why whenever I wear something it must always be my style and very thin and discreet. These are my latest acquisitions with crosses, of course!

I’m running to continue with my crazy day today that will not end until 22h at least… I will tell you everything live as always through my Snapchat: itgirlmarta.

¡Buenos días!

Antes que nada quiero dar las gracias al equipo de Listerine y a todos a los que os pude conocer anoche en el divertido evento que organizaron. Me lo pasé genial y me alegra mucho ir poniendoos cara porque ya sabéis que sois una parte muy importante de mi trabajo, ¡y de mi vida! Gracias por venir y espero que nos volvamos a ver pronto.

Y para mi hoy es como si fuese Viernes, ¡yuhuuu! Tengo que grabar mi sección semanal de moda en El Hub (que podréis ver hoy desde las 18h) y luego a hacer la maleta porque mañana me voy a Mallorca 5 días a intentar “desconectar” un poquito, ¡a ver si lo consigo!

En el post de hoy tenéis por fin el mono verde color caqui por el que tanto me habéis preguntado… y no es para menos porque desde que lo vi supe que tenía que ser mío. Me gusta todo: el diseño con manga tres cuartos, que sea cortito para verano, fundamental que tenga bolsillos laterales para colocar las manos cuando no sabemos qué hacer con ellas haha, y el escote en pico que le da un toque más sexy. Yo lo he combinado esta vez con mis nuevas zapatillas blancas y doradas y un bolso a juego. Todo siguiendo mi línea minimalista y sencilla.

Para terminar os informo de que el post de mañana es muy muy especial para mi… ¡así que estad atentos! Porque me hace mucha ilusión poder contaros y enseñaros por fin las primeras imágenes y la historia de mi tienda online, ¡estoy muy muy feliz!

Good morning my friends!

First of all I want to start today’s post by thanking the great Listerine team and all of you that I got to know you last night at the fun event they organized. I really had a great time and I’m glad to be meeting some of you because you know that you are a very important part of my work, and my life! Thank you for coming and I do hope that we meet again soon.

And for me today is like Friday, yaaay! I have to film my weekly fashion section at El Hub TV Show (that you can see today from 18h) and then I will have to pack because tomorrow I’m going to Mallorca island for the next five coming days to try to “disconnect” and relax a little bit, can’t wait!

On today’s post I finally show you my khaki green playsuit that many of you have asked me about… Since the first time I saw it I knew it had to be mine. I like everything: the design with three-quarter sleeves, it is a short overall for summer time and of course it is essential that it has side pockets for our hands when we just do not know where to put them haha, and a V-neck that gives it a sexy touch. I have combined it this time with my new white and gold sneakers matching also my handbag. All following my minimalist and simple daily style.

And to finish for today I’m so happy to inform you that tomorrow’s post will be very very special to me… so stay tuned! I’m very excited because I will tell you and show you all about the story of my online store, I’m so sooo excited and hope you all like it!

Cool khaki

3 de Julio. Me levanto de la cama y un frío de muerte, ¿esto qué es? Qué pena que no estemos pudiendo aprovechar mucho este año días de calor y sol infinito…

Bueno, ayer cuando todavía no se había nublado y después de mi súper día (sumado a haber sido host en el evento de los nuevos geles de ducha de Nivea y haber acudido a la presentación del nuevo móvil de LG que ya pienso usar a diario) tuve un ratito para escaparme y preparar el post de hoy.

Llevo dos cosas que me han gustado esta temporada: una camiseta con print de piñas que sabéis que son lo último en tendencias esta temporada. En Zara por ejemplo hay una funda para el móvil que además se cuelga tipo bolso que es muy original. Por otra parte el color caqui sabéis que me encanta desde que aparecieron en el mercado las maxi gabardinas (yo ya tengo 3 o 4 modelos madre mía). Por eso cuando vi este peto corto en este color me pareció una prenda que iba a amortizar bastante esta temporada. Lo combiné todo con mis slippers de leopardo para jugar con la mezcla de distintos estampados que sabéis que tiendo mucho a ello y mi clutch de lentejuelas en tonos dorados y verde agua que dio el toque más hippie. Las gafas de sol, un colgante a juego con el clutch y mis nuevos anillos finitos (de hojas, tornillo, …) fueron mis complementos.

Y aunque ya sabéis que no soy nada de pintarme los labios ayer como me los pinté de rojo para uno de los eventos ya los llevé así todo el día. ¿Qué os parece os gustan o mejor simplemente con un poco de cacao como los llevo habitualmente? Yo pienso que de vez en cuando no está mal aportar ese toque de color y más en verano porque hace resaltar aún más el moreno de la cara…

July the 3rd. I wake up and a cold day again, what is this? Too bad that this year we’re not able to wear real summer clothes and we miss those endless hot sunny days…

Well, yesterday when it was still good weather and after my super day (apart from being host in the event of the new Nivea shower gel and have going to the presentation of new LG mobile that now I use daily) I had a little time to prepare today’s post.

Today I’m wearing two things that I have liked this season: a T-shirt with pineapples print that you know that are the latest trend for this season. In Zara for example there is a mobile case kinda shoulder bag that is very original. Moreover you already know that I love khaki color since it appeared for the first time on the new collections with the maxi trenches (I already have 3 or 4 different models, omg!). So when I saw this playsuit in this color I thought it was going to be a must for my summer days. I combined all my look with my leopard slippers to play with the mixture of different prints that you know that I like to do usually and my sequined clutch in gold and green water color that gave the hippie touch. Sunglasses, a necklace matching the clutch and my new thin rings (leaves, screw, …) were my accessories.

And although you know that I don’t use to paint my lips yesterday as I painted them in red to one of the events and so to all day. Do you like it or you prefer only with some gloss as I usually wear? I think that sometimes is cool to give that touch of color and more in summer because we are tanned and they highlight the face…

Muchas veces nos empeñamos en ponernos ropa más llamativa para “ir monas” y en algunas ocasiones conseguimos todo lo contrario. Estoy segura de que todas vosotras ya os habéis hecho con alguna de estas gabardinas/trencas que están tan de moda. Pues después de haberes enseñado en Londres la rosa palo que me la voy a seguir poniendo hoy os enseño otro modelo completamente diferente.

Se trata de esta gabardina en verde caqui y muy larga. Creo que es un color que combina con casi todo y además añade seriedad o un toque juvenil a nuestros looks según con qué la combinemos. Yo hoy que tenía una mañana completita de trabajo me la he puesto con una sudadera de rayas y unos pantalones blancos. Como calzado mis bailarinas bicolor y me he dado una vuelta en el dobladillo del pantalón para darle un toque más moderno. Tenía que llevar mil cosas encima así que he optado por mi shopping bag y un sombrero marrón que iba a juego con el look y estos días todavía invernales.

Many times we use to think that wearing flashy clothes is better and sometimes we are just wrong. I’m sure that all of you already have your trench coat for this season, they are so fashionable. Well after showing you my soft pink one on the streets of London today I show a completely different model.

This coat in khaki green and oversize. I think this is a color that matches perfectly with almost everything and also adds a youthful touch or seriousness to our looks based on how w combine it. On today’s pics I had a meeting morning so I wore the trench with a striped sweatshirt and white jeans. My color-block flats always giving the elegant touch. As I had to bring up a thousand things I chose my shopping bag and a brown hat that would match the look and these still winter days.
