Like a princess

Como una princesa… ¡y nunca mejor dicho!

¿No os pasa a vosotras chicas que muchas veces os gusta arreglaros más de la cuenta cuando tenéis un evento o cita especial? Desde manicura y pedicura perfectos hasta el peinado y maquillaje acorde con vuestra ropa… A mi me pasa de vez en cuando sobre todo cuando llevo prendas que se que son diferentes, que no vemos habitualmente en el mercado y por eso me gusta sentirme especial cuando me las pongo.

Y es que he descubierto una marca de Londres que me tiene enamorada por sus diseños de alta calidad pero sobre todo por sus faldas y vestidos del estilo de los años 50 y 60, ¡mis favoritos! Se llama LK Bennett y hoy llevo una de sus faldas de raso con estampado floral y corte midi. Me encanta ya sabéis que tenga bolsillos laterales, me parece un detalle muy cómodo. Las sandalias plateadas y doradas también son de la misma firma y son muy cómodas para caminar, no como otro tipo de zapatos que son bonitos pero no podemos dar más de 10 pasos con ellos… Como parte de arriba escogí un cuerpo tipo crop top plateado a juego con el tono de fondo de la falda. Sabéis que no soy muy de joyas y quería que toda la atención se centrase en la bonita falda.

Además añado este tipo de faldas midi al número 3 de nuestra lista Fall Must-Haves, o esenciales para el Otoño.

¿Qué os parece esta propuesta para un día de princesa? Y digo de princesa porque es la marca favorita de la princesa Kate Middleton así que le habréis visto llevando esta falda y otras piezas de la web en muchas ocasiones…

Like a princess… and never better said!

Doesn’t it happen to you girls that sometimes you like to go more well dressed than usual specially when you have a special event or date? From manicures and pedicures to perfect hairstyle and makeup matching with your clothes for the occasion… It happens to me from time to time especially when I find clothes that are different, that I do not usually find in the market and that’s why I like about them, to feel special when I’m wearing them.

I have discovered a London brand that I really love for their high quality designs but mainly for their style in skirts and dresses of the 50s and 60s style, my favorite ones! It is called LK Bennett and today I show you one of their satin skirts with floral print and midi cut. You know that I do enjoy side pockets, I think it is a very comfortable detail. The silver and gold sandals are also from the same brand and are very comfortable to walk, not like other shoes that are beautiful but we can not make more than 10 steps with them… On top I picked a crop top style sweater in silver tone to match the background color of the skirt. You know I’m not much a woman of jewels. I wanted all the attention focused on the pretty skirt.

Also I add this kind of midi skirts to number 3 on our Fall Must-Haves list, or essential for the fall.

What do you think about this proposal to feel like a princess for one day? Princess yes, and I say it because this brand is one of the favorites of Kate Middleton Princess so you can see her many times wearing this skirt and other pieces of the web in many occasions…

Tercer y último post donde os he ido enseñando las prendas que más me han gustado de la nueva colección de invierno de Calvin Klein.

Ya que la próxima temporada no sólo abarca el invierno sino que tenemos varios meses de entretiempo como Octubre y Noviembre o Marzo y Abril quería escoger un look más para esos meses.

Y es que CKJ no sólo tiene ropa deportiva o de estilo más casual como mucha gente puede pensar. Este vestido vaquero en gris es uno de los ejemplos. Fue la primera prenda que cogí porque me encanta el diseño ajustado y abrochado en la espalda con escote en pico. Mi opción para combinarlo los meses más fríos fue con un jersey de lana gorda en el mismo tono y de estilo oversize como a mi me gustan, para agarrarlos bien y sentirme calentita hehe. Como calzado llevo mis cómodos botines de ante en color beige y un bolso bicolor a juego.

El escenario que escogimos para este tercer capítulo fue también mi favorito: unas vías abandonadas de tren. La verdad es que muchas veces no tengo tiempo de buscar localizaciones buenas para mis shootings porque ya no me dan mis días para más, pero cuando tengo tiempo me gusta ir a localizaciones bonitas y que me inspiren como esta. Y después de la foto de la polémica deciros que son unas vías de tren abandonadas, así que no hay absolutamente ningún peligro en hacerse fotos ahí o incluso pasear por esta bonita zona como hacen los propios vecinos que viven allí.

Third and final post where I have been showing you the clothes I really liked from the new autumn/winter collection of Calvin Klein Jeans brand.

Winter time is not only the cold months, we have also those halftime months such as October and November or March and April and I wanted to choose a look more useful for those months.

CKJ has not only a sporty or casual clothing style as many people may think. This denim dressed in washed gray is one example. It was the first piece that I liked because I love the design and the long zip at the back with a V-neck. My choice to combine it for the coldest months was a fat wool sweater in the same tone and of course oversize style as I like them to feel good when wearing it and keep very warm hehe. As shoes I chose my super comfy suede booties in beige color matching the color blocked  shoulder bag.

The background that we chose for this third chapter was also my favorite: an abandoned railroad station. The truth is that very often we do not have time to look for good places or locations for my shootings because we really do not have time for more in our days, but when I have time I like to go to nice locations that inspire me like this one. And after the controversy of the pic I published on my medias I must say that these railroads are abandoned so there is absolutely no danger in taking pictures there or even walking around this beautiful landscape as they do many neighbors who live there or around the area.

Siento haber tardado en publicar el post de hoy pero aquí en Lisboa ¡no paro!

La verdad es que me estoy volviendo adicta al estilo americano, y más concretamente de Los Ángeles (que son las firmas que llevo en los looks de hoy), de cuanto más sencilla mejor.

Así que hoy os dejo estos 3 looks donde llevo dos de las marcas de allí que más me gustan: Anine Bing y Ragdoll LA.  Ya me habéis visto muchas cosas de ellos en otros posts porque como os digo para mi son las mejores firmas de básicos.

Empezando por orden creo que el primero es el que más va con mi estilo: jeans ajustados con camiseta rosa palo de cuello cerrado y sin mangas. Como calzado mis comodísimas bailarinas que me compro siempre en Londres cuando se me rompen del uso.

El segundo estilismo es el más sexy por decirlo de alguna manera con el mono negro con detalles lenceros y un jersey de lana gris por encima para restarle elegancia al outfit. Esta es una técnica muy buena para cuando queremos quitar importancia a algo que llevamos más arreglado.

El tercero es el más deportivo y casual y también es una opción muy socorrida para mi día a día. Llevo camiseta con estampado de leopardo en gris y negra, me encanta desde que la vi por primera vez. Debajo de nuevo jeans negros ajustados, unas sneakers y maxi gafas de sol.

I’m so sorry for the delay posting today’s post but here in Lisbon it’s like not stop all day!

The truth is that I’m getting addicted to American style, specifically to Los Angeles style (from where are the brands that I use to wear daily and I show you in today’s pics). The always do the same: the simpler the better.

So today I show these 3 looks wearing two of my favourite brands from there: Anine Bing and Ragdoll LA. You’ve already seen me many times wearing them in other posts because as I said to me these are the top brands in basics.

Let’s stat with the first order which is the most similar to my personal style: skinny black jeans with a soft pink shirt with closed neck and sleeveless. I’m also wearing my super comfy flat shoes that I always use to buy in London when they are old.

The second outfit is the hottest styling for the black playsuit with lingerie details on the edges and over I’m wearing a gray wool sweater to rest elegance to the outfit. This is a very good option that they always use to do when they want to go more well dressed but with that casual or comfy touch. 

The third look is the more sporty and casual and is also a very good option for my day. I’m wearing a leopard print shirt in gray and black, I love it since I saw it for the first time. Once again I’m wearing my black ripped jeans, my Stan Smith sneakers and my black leather maxi sunnies.

Which look is your fav?

Effortless in tracksuit pants

“Nunca digas de este agua no beberé” o eso solía decir yo cuando tenía algo muy claro. Pues al final la vida te acaba sorprendiendo y si hablamos de moda aún más. Quién me iba a decir a mi que iba a salir a la calle, y aún más, que me iba a sentir tan cómoda y elegante en unos pantalones de “chandal” tan básicos como estos…

Y es que una vez más puedo volver a afirmar que todo depende de los complementos con los que combinemos nuestro look. Desde luego poder salir a la calle con pantalones de deporte y que además parezca que vas arreglada me parece todo un lujo, ¿y a vosotras? Por eso quise aportar mis toques más lady a este look con la camisa blanca con volantes en el cuello y un bolso de firma todoterreno. Como calzado opté por mis sandalias abiertas de doble hebilla que aunque dije que no me las pondría en negro (aunque visto lo visto ya no vuelvo a asegurar nada hehe) este modelo en piel blanca y dorado me pareció muy acorde con mi estilo y fácilmente combinable con mis estilismos diarios.

¿Qué opináis vosotras de llevar un pantalón de este estilo con ropa y complementos más elegantes?

“Never say never”… or that’s what I used to say when I was completely sure about something. Because in the end this wonderful life end up changing your plans and talking about fashion even more. Who was going to tell me that I would wear, and even more, I would feel so comfortable and stylish in a pair of “tracksuit”  pants as basic as these ones… 

And once again I re-affirm that all depends on the accessories with which we combine our look. To can go daily with these kind of trousers and feel like you go very well dressed it’s really amazing, don’t you think so? So I wanted to bring my lady touch to this look and I get it with my white shirt with ruffles at the neck and a cool daily bag. As shoes I chose my double strap sandals that I told you I’d never wear in black (although apparently I’d never affirm anything so seriously again hehe) but this model in white leather and gold seemed very cool, comfy and match my style and they are easily combinable with my daily outfits.

Color-blocked with black lace

¡Hola chicos!

Este es uno de los looks que me he guardado bajo la manga hasta que la plataforma americana Lookbook lo ha publicado y ya puedo yo también compartirlo con vosotros. He colaborado con ellos en este post tan especial con motivo del Día de la Madre porque para mi es un día muy importante en el año ya que mi madre se merece todo y más <3

Llevo una camisa bicolor azul celeste con puños y cuello en blanco. Como parte de abajo escogí mi falda negra tipo lencera con detalles de encaje en el borde. Mis sandalias mules para aportaron la nota más “sexy” y menos arreglada al outfit. Clutch negro con tachuelas de colores para dar el toque más colorido. ¿Y cómo os gusta más la camisa por dentro o por fuera?

I’ve been waiting to show you this look because it had to be at the same time as the american platform Lookbook publish their, so today I bring you this post for this special collaboration for the Mother’s Day. To me this is a very important day because my mom is one in a million <3

I’m wearing a color-blocked shirt in blue and white cuffs and collar. I chose my black skirt with lace details on the edge. My mule sandals brought the “sexy” and casual touch to the outfit. My black clutch with colorful studs gave some color to this bicolor look. And how do you like it most, with the shirt inside or outside?

Woman in black for The Code

Good morning people!

Estoy muy contenta de por fin poder enseñaros uno de los primeros looks que he realizado para la nueva colección otoño/invierno ’13-’14 de la firma de bolsos The Code. Ya se que habéis visto algunas fotos del making off en las redes sociales que fui colgando yo pero ¿a que no tienen nada que ver con esto? 😉

Como os digo, esta firma de bolsos es “made in Spain” (promovamos nuestros productos nacionales), donde todos los productos son fabricados con las mejores pieles. En este primer look escogí dos modelos porque los dos me parecían buenas opciones y no sabría por cual decantarme, así que depende de la situación: una cartera con tachuelas doradas a juego con las flores doradas de mi vestido para una noche más chic, o un maxi bolso de mano para el día a día (ya sabéis que yo meto de todo en el bolso, muchas veces me recuerda al de Mary Poppins).

¿Qué os parecen estos bolsos tanto en diseño como en calidad?
