¡Hello family!

Siento mucho estar retrasándome en la publicación de los posts aquí en el blog y de los vídeos pero realmente funciona fatal aquí internet… no en la casa sino en Los Angeles en general, no tienen fibra óptica ni nada parecido. Esta tarde me bajaré a una cafetería a intentar subir el último vídeo de mi semana en Londres, ¡cruzad dedos!

Y por LA todo genial. Como algunos ya sabréis voy a estar un mes y medio por aquí. Estoy en casa de mi amigo Chema que vive en West Hollywood, justo en frente del Grove, que es mi centro comercial favorito de la ciudad. Ya lo visteis anoche en mi Stories… tiene todas las marcas más conocidas pero lo que más me gusta es que parece como una pequeña ciudad, precioso.

Desde el lunes empezaré a compartir por aquí los looks completos que estoy llevando estos días, porque me está costando adaptarme aún a la gran diferencia horaria. Dicen que cada día que pasa se recuperan 2 horas de sueño, así que espero estar perfecta ya para el lunes porque tengo una semana non stop…

Me despido hoy con este look de estilo militar con camisa verde con capucha, pantalones de cuero y deportivas. ¿Qué opináis de la tenencia militar?

Good morning family!

I’m so sorry guys for the delay on posting my daily posts here on the blog and the videos on my tv channel but it works really bad my internet connection here… not at home but in Los Angeles in general, they do not have fast wifi connection or anything like that. This afternoon I’ll go to a coffee shop to try to upload the last video about my week in London, crossing fingers!

And here in LA everything good. As some of you would know, I’m going to live here for a month and a half. I am staying at my friend Chema’s home who lives in West Hollywood, right in front of the Grove, which is my favorite mall in town. You saw it last night on my Stories … it has all the best known brands but what I like most is that it seems like a small town, very beautiful.

From Monday I will start to share here the complete looks I am wearing these days, because it is difficult for me to adapt to the great time difference. They say that every day you recover 2 hours of sleep, so I hope to be perfect already for Monday because I have a non stop week…

And I say goodbye to you today with this military-style outfit wearing a green shirt with hood, leather pants and black sneakers. What do you think about military trend?

Como ya comentamos hace unos meses la tendencia militar sigue pisando fuerte, y a mi me encanta encontrar algunas prendas de este estilo para combinarlas con mi ropa.

Aunque cuando vi esta camiseta mi primera opción fue ponérmela con jeans negros, rápidamente pensé que estamos en verano y que mejor llevar jeans blancos esta vez. Además los rotos del pantalón dan un toque también muy moderno y desenfadado al igual que las zapatillas.

Respecto a mi frase de buenas noches de ayer chicos, me ha hecho mucha gracia que tantos de vosotros os sintieseis también identificados. Yo qué queréis que os diga, soy de esas personas que sí, lo reconozco, no tropiezo una vez ni dos con la misma piedra, sino miiiil por aquello de quedarme con la conciencia tranquila para siempre y al menos no poder decir que no lo intenté. ¿Defecto o virtud? Depende de cómo se mire y de cada situación, pero que nunca se diga que algo no salió adelante por nosotros, ¿no? hehe. Me encanta que os gusten tanto mis reflexiones y frases motivadoras que comparto cada día con vosotros.

As we talked about it a few months ago, the military trend is still getting stronger, and I love to find some pieces of this style to combine with my clothes.

Although when I first saw this t-shirt my first choice was to wear it with black jeans, I quickly thought that we are in summer time and it is better to wear it with white jeans this time. Furthermore the super ripped jeans give a very modern touch and so casual, like the color block sneakers in beige and soft pink matching the patches.

About my yesterday’s goodnight quote guys, it made me so happy that so many of you felt also identified with me. I do admit it, I am one of those people that yeah, I did not stumble once or twice with the same stone, but a thousand times just to be sure and have in my mind forever that at least I tried it, hahaha. ¿Defect or virtue? It depends on how you look at it and every situation is different, but you will never say that something didn’t worked because we didn’t even tried it, right? I love you like both, my thoughts and motivational quotes that I share every day with you.

Military long coat

¡Hola chicos!

Perdonad el pequeño descontrol que llevo estos días en las horas de publicación, que sabéis que suelo hacerlo antes de las 12 de la mañana, pero realmente entre la tele (que hemos sido pocos esta semana de fiesta), el haber llegado de viaje, el volver a irme mañana a Valencia y el blog, fotos y vídeos… ¡no doy abasto!

Pero hacía tiempo que tenía ganas de enseñaros este abrigo largo de estilo militar. Como seguro que ya sabéis porque lo habréis visto en las tiendas este tipo de abrigos están en plena tendencia: son largos por lo que nos abrigan más que otra chaqueta normal, además los botones dorados le dan un toque marinero que siempre es un acierto y por último este color verde militar es la opción que he escogido yo para salirme un poco del negro y poder combinarlo fácilmente con cualquier prenda de mi armario. Hoy lo llevo con un sencillo jersey de cuello vuelto negro, unos pantalones de cuello alto de lana en color camel de corte midi a juego con las botas de estampado de serpiente, y mi primer regalo de Reyes que os enseño que es este cinturón de piel negro con ancla gigante. Como veis el toque marinero es algo a lo que suelo recurrir mucho.

Hey guys!

Forgive me for the little caos that I’m having these days in the hours of sharing the posts, you all know that I usually do it before 12am, but I’ve really been very busy between TV (where we have been a few people to do all the tv shows), I just arrive from Paris, tomorrow I’m going to Valencia and then it’s the blog, photos and videos … I’m trying to do my best but is quite difficult!

It’s been some weeks since I wanted to show you this military style long coat. I’m pretty sure that you have seen many similar models in the stores: they are long so we go more warm than with other normal coats, plus the gold buttons give a navy touch that is always a hit in every look and also this military green color is the option that I have chosen to get out of the black that I always use to wear and can easily be combined with any cloth of my wardrobe. Today I’m wearing a simple turtleneck black sweater, high waisted midi wool camel pants matching the snake print booties snake and my first Christmas present that I wanted to show you which is this belt of black leather with an XL anchor. As you can see the sailor touch is something that I use to wear a lot when dressing up.

And once again I leave you to can finish packing for tomorrow and editing more photos and videos that I’m preparing for you…

Powerful women

¡Hola a todos!

Como sabéis estoy estos días en Barcelona por varios eventos y trabajos que tenía aquí y me he venido con mis amigos Isabel y Carlos.

Anoche estuvimos en la presentación del anuncio de Freixenet de este año, y desde luego el evento fue de poner los pelos de punta. No sólo por la realización que hay detrás del mismo, el equipo, las semanas de duro trabajo, etc. sino porque este año las protagonistas son las que para mi se llevan todo el mérito. Y es que la firma catalana ha escogido al equipo olímpico de gimnasia rítmica para protagonizar su esperado anuncio navideño de este año. Las seis chicas, campeonas olímpicas, han dado todo de si mismas para que podamos ver un anuncio desde mi punto de vista sin precedentes. No, no son “famosas” como Messi, Cristiano, o un actor/actriz X, pero seguramente ninguno de nosotros sabríamos hacer lo que ellas hacen con las cintas, pelotas y con sus propios cuerpos aunque ensayásemos durante meses…

El anuncio se estrenó en el Museo Nacional Marítimo, en Barcelona. Un lugar precioso lleno de encanto y magia para una noche donde todo destacaba por “brillar”. Este es el lema de este año de la marca, brillar.

Pero si os estoy contando toda esta historia es porque quiero destacar lo importante que es el papel de la mujer hoy en día. Nosotras podemos si, y lo demostramos cada día. Madres casadas, madres solteras, chicas jóvenes, estudiantes, mujeres mayores,… todas luchamos a diario por conseguir por fin la igualdad definitiva con ellos, y lo conseguiremos. Estas chicas contaban anoche que cuando recibieron la medalla olímpica!! (algo que no se consigue todos los días, claro!) no había nadie más que sus familias esperándoles en el aeropuerto… Sin embargo nos volvemos locos cuando vemos a X futbolista o cantante?! Por favor valoremos un poco el esfuerzo y trabajo de la gente luchadora, constante, y que persigue sus sueños. Y tomemos ejemplo de este tipo de personas.

Yo qué queréis que os diga, empezando por mi madre y siguiendo por mis abuelas, tías, hermana, primas, … vengo de una familia de luchadoras, y no todas han tenido siempre al destino de su parte, pero nunca nos hemos rendido.

¡A mí me encanta ser mujer! Y estoy orgullosa de ello y de poder luchar cada día por un futuro digno para todas.

Dicho esto, os dejo las últimas fotos con una de las chaquetas en verde militar y detalle de espiga dorados, de mujer a mujer (que la fotógrafa Paloma es una crack).

Hi there everyone!

As you know I am these days in Barcelona to attend to some events and jobs that I have here and I have the good company of my lovely friends Isabel and Carlos.

Last night we were at the presentation of the new Freixenet advertisement for this year, and this year the event was very emotive. Not only for all the work that is behind it, the team, the weeks of hard work, etc. but because this year the stars are, at least to me, the best ones in years. The Spanish cava brand has chosen the Olympic rhythmic gymnastics team to star in this new commercial for this year’s Christmas. The six girls team, Olympic champions, have given everything of themselves so we can see an enjoy this advertisement from my point of view, unprecedented. No, they are not “famous” like Messi, Cristiano, or an actor/actress, but surely none of us would be able to do what they do with ribbons, balls and even their own bodies even practising for months…

The advertisement premiered at the National Maritime Museum in Barcelona. A beautiful place full of charm and magic for a night where everything “shine”. This was the mood of this year’s brand, to shine.

But if I am telling you this story is because I want to emphasize how important the role of women today is. Yes, we can, and we prove it every day. Married mothers, single mothers, young girls, students, older women… all of them fight daily to finally get the equality with them, and we will. These girls that won the Olympic medal!! (something you do not get every day, of course!), when they arrived to Spain there were anyone but their families waiting at the airport… To me this is really crazy, they are champions! And we got crazy when we see X football player or singer?! Please, let’s value a little effort and the work of the fighter women, steady people, that follow their dreams. And let’s take example of this kind of people.

I want to tell you that starting with my mother and continue with my grandmothers, aunts, sister, cousins,… I come from a family of fighters women, and not all have always had the destiny by their side, but we have never give up on anything.

I love being a woman! And I’m proud of it and I will keep on fighting every day to make the future easier for us.

Good basics never fail

Hoy la historia va de básicos porque ¿quién no tiene en su armario a estas alturas una cazadora de cuero, una camiseta básica de estilo militar y unos jeans rotos oscuros? Seguro que todos… así que hoy os dejo una combinación muy sencilla con estas prendas que todos tenemos y que bien sirve tanto para mujer como para hombre. ¡A por el VIERNES!

Como os digo habitualmente me gusta cada vez más la tendencia de ir cuanto más simple y sencillo mejor. Por eso llevo una cazadora de cuero negra, una camiseta básica en verde militar y mis pantalones con cortes hoy en gris oscuro. Las chapas que llevo colgadas con frases positivas son otro toque militar muy de moda. En las mias pone: “Ladies Rules” y “Make Fashion not War”. Como calzado mis All Star que me resultan muy cómodas para los días en que tengo que andar corriendo de un lado para otro o para mis momentos de relax de los findes. Maxi bolso, reloj XL y gafas negras terminan de completar mi último outfit de la semana.

Today is all about basics because, who does not have in their closet nowadays a leather jacket, a basic military style tee and a pair of dark ripped jeans? Surely all of you have it all… so today I wanted to show you a simple combination with these garments that we all have and that it easy to wear to both women and men. Let’s start this FRIDAY!

As I usually say to you I like so much the trend of becoming more and more simple when dressing up, the simpler the better. So I’m wearing a black leather jacket, a basic tee military style in khaki green and my ripped jeans today in dark gray. The tags I’m wearing with positive phrases are another military touch and very fashionable. In mine it says: “Ladies Rules” and “Make Fashion not War”. As shoes my All Star are always a must have because I find them very comfortable for the days when I have to run from one place to another or my time to relax on weekends. A maxi bag, XL watch and black sunnies end up completing my last outfit of the week.

The smell of Spring

Ya se va notando el olor a Primavera… y es que una de las cosas que más me gusta es llegar a mi casa y que me llegue ese olor a flores frescas que ya sabéis que tengo por toda la casa. Y me gusta mucho más aún bajar a pasear al Retiro y sentir esa misma sensación, el olor que la Primavera va dejando cuando pasas por tantas flores y árboles que huelen a limpio, que huelen ‘rico’. ¡Me encanta cómo huelen las flores! Son un detalle que siempre consiguen sacarme una sonrisa y alegrarme el día.

La realidad es que la tendencia militar ha estado muy presente en el mundo de la moda en los últimos años. No hay más que entrar en cualquier tienda para ver cómo se siguen llevando las parcas y pantalones con este estampado. Cada uno intentamos adaptarla a nuestro estilo y yo he querido rescatar estos pantalones de estilo militar en verde caqui y con bolsillos para combinarlos con colores claros y primaverales. Llevo un jersey de crochet de rayas beige y blancas estilo crop, un abrigo finito también en blanco roto y el toque más casual lo conseguí con mis zapatillas doradas que ya sabéis lo cómodas que me resultan para cualquier día.

Now we can really feel the smell of Spring… This is one of the things that I like most, to arrive home and smell all those fresh flowers that you know I use to have around my house, everywhere. And I like even more going to stroll around the Retiro’s Park and feel that same feeling, smell the Spring scents hat leaves behind when you pass through so many flowers and trees that smell like clean, like ‘so good’. I really love how they smell fresh flowers! They are a detail that always get me out a smile and brighten up my day.

The truth is that the military trend has been present in the world of fashion since some years ago. We just need to go to any store to see how they continue hitting on trenches and trousers with this print. To try to adapt it to my own style one more time I wanted to rescue for this time these pants in khaki green military style with side pockets. I combined them with light, spring colors. I’m wearing a crochet sweater crop style in beige and white, a thin white coat and to give the casual touch I put on my golden slippers that you know how comfortable I feel with them.
