#NYFW Bryant Park

Muchas veces me preguntáis que por qué viajo tanto, que en qué consiste mi trabajo. Aunque ya os lo he contado mil veces por aquí y en mi canal de Youtube, os lo recuerdo un día más.

El trabajo de una blogger/influencer consiste en encontrar o contactar marcas con las que se sienta identificada, al menos en mi caso, para colaborar con ellas a través de una remuneración económica que se acuerda previamente a cambio de determinadas menciones en las redes sociales/blog/canal de Youtube de dicho influencer.

Es decir, a mi me gusta enseñaros siempre mi estilo, cosas que uso, que consumo a diario, cómo viajo, dónde me hospedo, dónde como, etc. y la mayoría de esas marcas o lugares me pagan para que os lo enseñe. Es un trabajo que parece muy divertido y donde se hace poco, pero no es nada fácil. Todo el día viajando, subida en un avión, no se ya ni dónde duermo ni dónde me levanto, siempre perfecta para hacer fotos y vídeos cambiándome más de 3 veces al día de ropa… Y ante todo despertar y mantener el interés día tras día en vosotros, mis más críticos “jueces”, hehe. Además me gusta jugar con localizaciones y estilismos diferentes para que ni vosotros ni yo nos aburramos.

Os cuento todo esto porque este post comienza con fotos de otro de mis días en Nueva York durante la Fashion Week donde gracias a mi colaboración con Kia pude descubrir su nuevo modelo de coche a la vez que charlar con Joan Smalls y Candice Swanepoel. Guapísimas y muy simpáticas las dos. La presentación de estos nuevos coches se hizo en uno de los pier de Chelsea al aire libre.

Después de este evento Jaime y yo quedamos con mi amigo Felip para comer cerca de Bryant Park y la estación central de NY. Mirad qué parque tan bonito y precioso para hacer fotos rodeado de los más altos y emblemáticos edificios de la ciudad. Os recomiendo comer en Cipriani que es otro restaurante mítico de esta zona.

Ya sabéis que me encanta la ropa oversize. Por eso escogí esta vez una camiseta blanca XL con dos estrellas, me puse mis shorts lenceros debajo, mi blazer de rayas que se ha convertido en mi favorita para estos meses y después del evento decidí cambiar mis sandalias de tacón ancho por mis botas con plataforma que me flipan, ¡mucho!

Estad pendiente de mis redes sociales si queréis ver todo lo que se cuece por el Festival de Cine de San Sebastián… hehe.

Many times you ask me why I travel so much, what my work consists of. Although I have told you a thousand times here and on my Youtube channel too, I want to talk to you about it one more day.

The blogger/influencer work is to find or contact brands with which you feel identified, at least in my case, to collaborate with them through an economic remuneration that is agreed in advance in exchange for certain mentions in the social networks/blog/Youtube channel of the influencer.

Said that, I like to always show you my style, the things that I daily use, what I eat every day, how I travel, where I stay, where I eat, etc. and most of those brands or places pay me to show it to you. It is a job that seems very fun and that you don’t work at all, but it is not as easy as it seems. To be travelling almost every day, I don’t really know where I sleep and where I weak up, I have to be ready and perfect almost 24/7 for any pic and video. And also and the most important thing is to keep your interest day after day, my most critical “judges”, hehe. I like to play with different locations and styles so that neither you or I don’t get bored.

I tell you all this because this post begins with photos of another of my days in New York during the Fashion Week where thanks to my collaboration with Kia I was able to discover their new car while I chat with Joan Smalls and Candice Swanepoel. Gorgeous and very nice both. The presentation of these new cars took place on one of the Chelsea’s outdoor pier.

After this event Jaime and I had lunch with my friend Felip near Bryant Park and NY Central Station. Look what a beautiful and charm park to take pictures surrounded by the highest and most emblematic buildings of the city. I recommend you to have lunch at Cipriani’s which is another mythical restaurant in this area.

You know I love oversize clothes. That’s why I chose this XL white shirt with two stars, I wore my shorts lingerie underneath, my striped blazer which has become my favorite for these months and after the event I decided to change my wide-heeled sandals for my platform boots that I do looove them, so much!

#NYFW Brooklyn Bridge

¡Buenos días chicos!

Qué lujo es poder levantarse en una isla como Ibiza con las espectaculares vistas que tenemos a la playa D’en Bossa desde nuestro hotel… ¡me encantaría vivir en una isla para siempre!

Seguimos repasando mis looks para la fashion week de Nueva York. El de hoy creo que es uno de los que más os ha gustado… ¡y a mí también! El combinar un vestido de tul rosa con sneakers la verdad es que fue una decisión arriesgada porque además el vestido es de corte midi y el llevarlo con zapatillas hace que parezcamos más bajitas… pero me apetecía ir cómoda y quería estrenar estas nuevas deportivas que son el modelo Cortez (que siempre he odiado) pero en rosa clarito con brillo metalizado, ¡me flipan! ¿Os gustó la combinación?

Y escogimos como localización para este shooting de “princesa moderna” como yo lo llamo el puente de Brooklyn. ¡Me encanta esta zona! Siempre que paso por la Gran Manzana no puedo dejar de visitar Brooklyn que sinceramente se está convirtiendo en el nuevo Manhattan. Muchas celebrities internacionales están mudándose a esta zona así como las marcas más conocidas, restaurantes, hoteles etc. Os recomiendo ir a la zona de Dumbo desde donde podéis haceros fotos entre edificios típicos neoyorquinos con el puente de fondo, por supuesto subir al puente y haceros fotos como estas (aunque sin sentaros como yo, porque os pueden poner una multa) y también ir a tomar algo a la azotea del Hotel Wythe que tiene unas de las mejores vistas del barrio.

Al acabar con el millón de fotos y vídeos que hicimos comimos en un mercado muy mono que está justo debajo del puente en uno de los restaurantes con terracita para disfrutar de estas espectaculares vistas.

Good morning guys!

What a luxury it is to be able to get up on an island like Ibiza with the spectacular views that we have just in front of D’en Bossa beach from our hotel room… I would love to live on an island forever!

Let’s continue talking about my looks for New York fashion week. Today I think this is one of the looks that you liked the most… and me too! The combination of a pink tulle dress with sneakers was a risky decision because in addition to this it is a midi dress and wearing it with sneakers makes us look shorter… but I liked it anyways! I wanted to go comfortable and I also wanted to wear my new sneakers that they are the Cortez model (which I have always hated) but in soft pink with metallic luster, I do loved them! Do you like this combination?

And we chose as location for this “modern princess” shooting as I call it, the Brooklyn Bridge. I love this area! Whenever I pass through the Big Apple I can not miss visiting Brooklyn which is truly becoming the new Manhattan. Many international celebrities are moving to this area as well as the best known brands, restaurants, hotels, etc. I recommend you go to the Dumbo area from where you can take pictures of the typical New York buildings with the bridge in the background, of course go up to the bridge and make photos like these (although without sitting like me, because you can get a penalty) and also go to have some drinks at the rooftop of the Wythe Hotel which has some of the best views of the neighborhood.

When we finished taking the million photos and videos we had to do we ate in a very cute market that is just below the bridge in one of the terraced restaurants to enjoy these spectacular views.

#NYFW Grand Central St

¡Hola family!

Sigo contandoos anécdotas y lugares diferentes y con encanto para visitar en Nueva York.

Estaba CLARÍSIMO que uno de los días iba a escoger algo con rayas, ¿o no? Los que me conocéis bien lo podéis afirmar hehe. Me encantan las rayas y no miento si os digo que puedo tener literalmente más de 20 camisetas a rayas… eso sí, para mí todas son diferentes aunque muchas veces en las fotos parezca el mismo estilismo. Como os comentaba en alguna de mis fotos de Instagram, este trabajo lleva mucho más tiempo del que parece. Cada día tengo que pensar varios looks, llevarlos en una maleta o bolsa e ir cambiándome donde puedo. ¿Por qué? Porque si os enseño más de 2 o 3 fotos con la misma ropa ya os aburrís… sin embargo hay mil localizaciones bonitas que quiero enseñaros siempre, de ahí que tenga este “trajín” de días para poder enseñaros más cosas.

El caso es que este día decidimos caminar desde el hotel hasta la Gran Estación Central de Nueva York para hacer fotos en esta mítica localización (que muchos habéis recordado rápidamente por las escenas de la serie Gossip Girl por ejemplo, y gracias por decirme que me parezco a Serena por cierto, ¡eso sí que es un piropo!). Allí habíamos quedado Jaime y yo con mis amigas Carla y María. Después de hacer todo tipo de fotos en cada esquina y de encontrarme con algunos de vosotros, más concretamente de México y Perú, ¡qué ilusión!, nos fuimos a comer a un restaurante mexicano que conocía Jaime (él ha vivido en NY durante más de 5 años).

El restaurante se llama Salvation Taco y está ubicado en la 145 E 39th Street. Pedimos guacamole con nachos, queso frito y unos tacos de atún y carnita que estaban buenísimos. De postre: chocolate con churros. Todo muy sano como podéis ver… haha. Aunque el restaurante por dentro está decorado muy acorde con la cultura del país, la azotea y las preciosas vistas desde ahí es algo que no os podéis perder. Además mirad la suerte que tuvimos con el día, lo que hizo que se pueda ver perfectamente el skyline de los edificios más altos de la Gran Manzana de fondo.

Y ya estoy en Madrid aunque sólo por hoy… ¡vaya locura! He deshecho mis maletas de NY y acabo de terminar la de mañana antes de escribir este post. Ya os puedo anunciar que mañana me voy 3 días a desconectar un poco a Ibiza con mis amigos Carlos y Carla pero os contaré y enseñaré todo lo que hagamos como siempre a través de mis redes sociales.

Hello family!

I continue telling you different things and charming places to visit in New York.

It was clear that one of the days I was going to pick something with stripes, of course! Those who know me well you can say it hehe. I love the stripes and I do not lie if I tell you that I can literally have more than 20 striped shirts… and yes, for me they all are different although many times in the photos they seem to be the same style. As I have commented in some of my pictures on Instagram, this work takes much more hours than it seems. Every day I have to think and prepare 2/3 looks, take them in a suitcase or a bag and take it with me to change my clothes wherever I can. Why? Because if I show you more than 2 or 3 photos with the same clothes then you get bored… however there are a thousand beautiful locations that I always want to show you, hence I have this “crazy” life to be able to show you more cool things.

The fact is that this day we decided to walk from the hotel to the Grand Central Station in New York to take photos in this mythical location (which many of you would remembered quickly for the scenes of Gossip Girl TV serie for example, and by the way, thanks for telling me that I look like Serena, she is the prettiest!). There Jaime and I met with my friends Carla and Maria. After doing all kind of photos in every corner and meeting some of you, more specifically from Mexico and Peru, (so excited!), we went to have lunch at a Mexican restaurant that Jaime knew (he has lived in NY for over 5 years).

The restaurant is called Salvation Taco and is located on 145 E 39th Street. We ordered guacamole with nachos, fried cheese and a few tuna and carnita tacos which were incredible delicious. For dessert: chocolate with churros. Everything very healthy as you can see… haha. Although the restaurant inside is decorated according with the Mexican culture of the country, the roof and the beautiful views from up there is something you can not miss. Also look at the luck that we had with the day, which made it possible to see perfectly the skyline of the tallest buildings in the Big Apple in the background.

And I’m already in Madrid now but just for today… lol. I have unpacked my suitcases from NY and just finished packing for tomorrow’s trip before starting writing this post. I can already announce that tomorrow I will leave 3 days to Ibiza to disconnect a little bit with my friends Carlos and Carla but I will tell you and show everything that we will do as always through my social networks.

#NYFW Manhattan

Segundo post desde la Gran Manzana.

Aunque las Fashion Weeks consistan en ir vestidos lo más extravagantes y diferentes a lo normal posible (o lo más hortera en muchas ocasiones), también hay días en los que a mí personalmente me apetece vestirme más casual y normal. Por eso esta vez opté por ponerme unos jeans ajustados con rotos combinados con mi camisa blanca con volantes y botones dorados, a juego con mis botines dorados. El toque que más me gustó y que más llama la atención del look son justo los botines y la cazadora vaquera con todas estas lentejuelas bordadas a modo de alas. Es por lo que más me preguntasteis en las redes sociales.

Los dos primeros días que pasé en Nueva York dormí en el Hotel Room Mate Grace que está súper bien ubicado en pleno Time Square, una de las zonas más bonitas y comerciales de Manhattan y que me encanta recorrer ya sea de día o de noche. Ahí os recomiendo comer en Hard Rock o en Bubba Gump, dos de los restaurantes más típicos aunque también llenos de turistas. Para el resto de la semana me cambié al Hotel 48 Lex que está muy cerca, como a 10 minutos andando, pero un poco más hacia el norte y cerca de Central Park. Me gusta estar en hoteles por esta zona porque pasear por Central Park es algo que me encanta hacer siempre que visito NY y también porque esta es la zona más “céntrica” de la isla. Hacia el Norte está el parque y los museos, hacia el Sur Brooklyn o el Soho. Y al Este y Oeste tenemos East o West Village.

Este día íbamos al desfile de Brandon Maxwell que tuvo lugar en un hotel en la 5th Avenida enfrente de Central Park, por lo que hicimos las fotos por la tarde en las calles que íbamos recorriendo de camino al desfile. Lo bueno de NY es que es muy muy fácil orientarse y no perderse. Todas las calles van perfectamente ordenadas de la 1 a la 174 en horizontal y las verticales son avenidas de la 1 a la 12 con algún nombre entre medias (aunque desde Houston hacia Downtown los nombres de las calles cambian un poco). En esta zona os recomiendo pasar a tomar el té por el Hotel Plaza, que está buenísimo y después ir a tomar una copa al hotel Dream el domingo después del brunch (el hotel donde suele ir “Manhattan’s elite”).

Second post from the Big Apple.

Although Fashion Weeks consist on dressing as extravagant and different as possible (or more tacky in many occasions), there are also days when I personally feel like dressing more casual and normal. That’s why this time I chose to wear my ripped skinny jeans combined with my white shirt with ruffles and gold buttons, matching my gold booties. The touch that I liked the most and which attracts almost all the attention of the look are just the booties and the denim jacket with all these sequins embroidered as wings. That’s what you asked me the most on my social networks.

The first two days I spent in New York I slept at the Room Mate Grace Hotel which is super well located in Time Square, one of the nicest and most commercial areas of Manhattan. I love to walk around there at any time of the day or night. Here I recommend you eating at Hard Rock or at Bubba Gump, two of the most typical restaurants but also full of tourists. For the rest of the week I switched to the 48 Lex Hotel which is very close, about 10 minutes walking, but a little further to the north and near Central Park. I like to stay in hotels around this area because strolling around Central Park is something I really like to do whenever I visit NY and also because this is the most “central” area of the island. To the North you have the park and the museums, to the South Brooklyn or Soho. And to the East and West we have East or West Village.

This day we were going to the Brandon Maxwell fashion show that took place in a hotel on the 5th Avenue just in front of Central Park, so we took the photos in the afternoon in the streets while we were walking on our way to the show. The good thing about NY is that it is very very easy to get around and not get lost. All the streets are perfectly arranged from 1 to 174 horizontally and the verticals are avenues from 1 to 12 with some names in between (although from Houston to Downtown the names of the streets change a little bit). In this area I recommend you go to have a tea at the Plaza Hotel, which is great and then go to have a drink at the Dream Hotel on Sunday after the brunch (the hotel where usually go “Manhattan’s elite”).

#NYFW High Line

¡Hola chicos!

¡Perdonad por el caos que están siendo estas semanas pero voy tarde a todo! Nos levantamos pronto, nos acostamos tarde, estamos todo el día en atascos, luego tenemos que ir a desfiles, hacer fotos, grabar vídeos… de verdad ¡necesito más horas en mis días! haha.

Llegó el momento de que saquéis papel y lápiz (o móvil los más modernos hehe) y toméis nota de todos los consejos, lugares, restaurantes etc que os voy a ir contando en los próximos posts sobre Nueva York.

Primer post desde la Gran Manzana, desde la semana de la moda de esta nueva edición de Septiembre. Generalmente os desfiles suelen tener lugar en dos localizaciones: Skylight Clarkson (558 Washington St) o en los Pier de Chelsea. Por eso lo que solemos hacer siempre todas las influencers es llegar un poco antes o si no nos da tiempo a la salida, recorrer la zona en busca de buenas localizaciones para las fotos y vídeos. En este caso el desfile al que asistimos estaba muy cerca de Chelsea Market, uno de los mercados más conocidos de Manhattan. A los amantes de la pasta os recomiendo comer en Giovanni Rana, el mejor sitio de pasta dentro de este mercado. Al lado está The High Line que son unas antiguas vías de tren que han renovado y acondicionado para pasear con unas espectaculares vistas a todo Chelsea. ¡Me encanta esta zona para hacer fotos! Después comimos en otro de mis restaurantes favoritos que se llama The Park, que es este jardín tan ideal que os enseñé en Stories y que veréis en el vídeo, lleno de luces, árboles y mucho encanto.

Este día escogí una bomber blanca oversize que me puse como vestido porque me quedaba lo suficientemente larga, combinada con mis botines negros con estrellas plateadas y mi bolso rojo con detalles de colores. Llevo también mis nuevas pulseras de plata combinadas con cuero que son joyas que me gustan porque visten cualquier outfit. La gorra me la compré en una tienda vintage de dentro del mercado, me gustó la palabra unicornio por mi lado infantil e inocente que nunca quiero perder y escogí este color rosa de efecto lavado porque no tengo ninguna en este color.

¡Mañana os cuento más cositas pero id apuntando todos los sitios, lugares y consejos que os doy sobre Nueva York!

Hi guys!

Forgive me for these chaotic last weeks but they have been really really crazy… I’m always late to everything! We get up early, we go to bed super late, we are all day in traffic jams, then we have to go from one show to another but always taking photos, filming videos… I really need more hours in my days! lol.

So now it’s time for you to bring a paper and a pencil (or you can use your phone too) and take note of all the advices, places, restaurants etc that I will tell you in the next posts about New York City.

First post from the Big Apple, from the fashion week of this new September edition. Usually the fashion shows take place in two main locations: Skylight Clarkson (558 Washington St) or Chelsea Piers. That’s why what we usually do (all the influencers) is to arrive a little bit earlier or right after the show to take the pics. We walk around the area trying to find the best locations or corners to take the photos and videos. In this case the show I was attended was very close to Chelsea Market, one of Manhattan’s best-known markets. For pasta lovers I recommend you to go to Giovanni Rana, the best pasta place within this market. Less than 5 minutes walking is The High Line which are old railroad tracks which have been renovated and fitted out for a stroll with spectacular views to all Chelsea neighbourhood. I love this area for taking pictures! Then we had lunch at another of my favorite restaurants called The Park, which is this cute garden that I showed you on my Stories and you will see in the video, full of lights, trees and so much charm.

This day I chose an oversize white bomber that I wore as a dress because it was long enough, combined with my black booties with silver stars and my red purse with colorful details. I also was wearing my new silver bracelets combined with leather that are jewels that I like because you can wear them with any outfit. The cap I bought it in a vintage store inside the market, I liked the word unicorn for my childish and innocent side that I never want to lose and I chose this pink washed effect color because I did’nt have anyone yet in this color.

Tomorrow I will tell you more things but take not of all the places, restaurants and advices that I will be giving you about New York!

¡Buenos días desde España de nuevo!

Ya estoy de vuelta en Madrid… ¡con wifi y datos! Parece una tontería pero cómo se echan de menos estas cosas cuando no las tienes de verdad…

Ha sido un viaje impresionante eso sí, con el mejor grupo que me podría imaginar y en un país que estaba en mi lista de lugares a visitar desde hace años, así que estoy muy feliz y agradecida al gobierno y oficina de turismo chinos por haberme dado esta gran oportunidad.

Una de las ciudades que más me ha gustado porque era realmente diferente a todas las que estoy acostumbrada a ver (altos rascacielos, gente corriendo vestidos de oficina…) es Pekín o como ellos la llaman “Beijing”. Me enamoré de estas callejuelas estrechas con casas de una altura, de la gente tan hospitalaria metiéndonos en sus casas, del río que pasas por debajo y que conecta dos mares, de la comida (¡algunos hasta probaron escorpiones! yo no me vi capaz esta vez haha), … en fin, me encantó Pekín y creo que esta zona del casco antiguo es un lugar precioso para visitar.

Una vez más sin buscarlo ni planearlo parece que me puse a juego con el entorno con mi abrigo de pelo en rayas de colores que combina perfectamente con estas calles. Es de mis favoritos para este invierno y ya he visto que para vosotros también hehe. Encima un jersey oversize en rosa con leggings de terciopelo en negro y botas negras de charol para poder caminar todo el día.

Me voy a poner a trabajar y a preparar mi programa de esta noche en la tele. Mañana os cuento más cositas.

Good morning from Spain again!

I’m back in Madrid… with Wi-Fi and data! It seems like a silly thing but you wouldn’t believe how much you miss things when you do not really have them…

It has been an incredible trip, with the best group I could ever imagine and in a country that was on my list of places to visit for years, so I am very happy and grateful with the Chinese government and tourist office for giving me this great opportunity.

One of the cities that I liked the most because it was absolutely different from all that I’m used to see (tall skyscrapers, people running from place to place dressed to go to the office…) is Pekin or as they call it “Beijing”. I fell in love with these narrow alleys with houses of one level, with the people so friendly and hospitable with us, with getting into their houses, with the river that passes underneath and that connects two different seas, with their typical food (some of us even tried scorpions! I din’t do it this time haha),… in conclusion, I loved Beijing and I think this area of the old town is a beautiful place to visit.

Again without looking or planning it seems that I got to play with the environment with my new hair coat in color stripes that perfectly combines with these streets. It is one of my favorites for this winter and I have already seen that for you too hehe. Above an oversize jersey in pink with velvet leggings in black and black patent leather boots to walk all day long.

I’m going to work and prepare my show for tonight on the TV. I’ll tell you more things about my trip tomorrow.

LA diary: Malibu

¡Buenos días, Lunes!

Malibu es otro de los lugares que visité la semana pasada con mi hermana (que ya está de vuelta en España por su trabajo, qué pena).

Es como la zona más rica, donde viven muchos famosos y celebrities, entre otros Alessandra Ambrosio o las Kardashian que viven en la urbanización “Calabasas”.

Ya sabéis que me encanta ser sincera siempre con vosotros, así que he de decir que esta playa es la prolongación de la playa de Santa Mónica, y de hecho es bastante más estrecha en esta zona. Evidentemente es un lugar de obligatoria visita pero es muy difícil acceder a la playa ya que sólo tienen acceso casas privadas o restaurantes y hoteles privados. Hay zonas abiertas al público pero son muy pequeñas y no hay nada alrededor.

Nosotras decidimos pasear por el muelle que esto sí que me encantó, y conocer los puestecitos orgánicos que había. Es una gozada sentarse en estos bancos a mirar el mar, realmente estoy mucho más tranquila, feliz y relajada estos días… Creo que estoy ganando días de vida hehe.

Para comer escogimos el restaurante Carbon beach club que estaba en primera línea de playa y que seguramente ya habéis visto en mis fotos y vídeos. Impresionante la verdad, poder comer frente al mar casi en el agua literalmente con vistas a este bonito pier.

Para este día escogí un look muy cómodo y casual, de mi estilo, con leggings negros, camiseta blanca, camisa oversize de rayas por encima y mis nuevos botines negros de charol con pequeñas tachuelas que me encantan por lo cómodos que son, muy modernos y además porque combinan con todo. Son de la marca Deichmann que es uno de mis últimos descubrimientos ya que los zapatos son comodísimos y además a un precio muy asequible.

Algo que me encanta de los americanos es la intensidad y emoción con la que viven todo. ¡Son muy “yo”! hehe, por eso por todas partes se ven ya los adornos de Halloween y las calabazas naranjas que estoy deseando enseñaros en una granja que voy a visitar.

¡Feliz semana a todos! Y recordad la enseñanza para esta semana de la fantástica misa a la que acudí ayer en Santa Mónica: nunca tires la toalla y no llames una vez a la puerta, ¡llama mil! hasta que te abran…

Morning, Monday!

Malibu is one of the places that I also visited last week with my sister (now she has already come back to work in Spain, so sad for that).

This is the richest area, where many famous and celebrities live there, such as Alessandra Ambrosio or the Kardashians, they live in “Calabasas” neighbourhood.

You know that I always want to be honest with you, so I have to say that this beach is an extension of Santa Monica beach, and is in fact quite small in this area. Obviously it is a must visit place but it is very difficult to access the beach and only private homes or restaurants and hotels they have direct access to the beach. It is a small one open to the public but there is nothing around… so to me it’s better Santa Monica.

We decided to walk along the pier that really impressed me, and we discovered the new organic lifestyle that they have here. It is a dream come true to sit on these benches and just look at the sea, I’m really much calm down, happy and relaxed these days here… I think I’m winning days of life hehe.

We chose to eat at Carbon beach club restaurant by the seaside and you probably already have seen it on my photos and videos. Impressive to can eat sitting in front of the sea with this beautiful pier in the background.

To this day I chose a very comfortable casual look, very my style, with black leggings, white t-shirt, oversize striped shirt over and my new black patent leather booties with small silver studs that I love because they are really trendy, comfortable and I can combine them with all. I love this new brand, Deichmann, as all the shoes are super comfy and super cheap.

Something I love about America is the intensity and emotion that they live everything. They are very “me”! hehe. For example the other day at the Stadium was amazing the great support to the Dodgers. Now they are already getting ready for Halloween with all these pumpkins and decoration all around, and I can’t wait to show you a pumpkins farm that I’m going to visit this coming days.

So happy week everyone! And remember the lesson for this week that they gave me yesterday at the amazing mass in Santa Monica: never give up and do not call once to the door, call a thousand times! until they open it…

NYFW, day 5

¡Buenos días de Lunes!

Último post de mi viaje a Nueva York. Cómo no no podía faltar un look más moderno y casual, y conseguí un estilo bastante roquero con la cazadora de cuero negra. Las fotos las hicimos al borde de Central Park, enfrente de nuestro hotel.

Una de las tiendas en las que más cosas me compré fue en Ralph Lauren ya que me encantaron varias prendas de la nueva colección. Son cosas básicas como sudaderas y camisetas que os iré enseñando y que justo en este post llevo dos de ellas puestas. Llevo camiseta blanca de hombre (¿a que no parece de chico?, ya sabéis que me encanta comprare ropa para ellos hehe), y una sudadera gris de nueva colección con manchas de colores. Debajo pantalones negros ajustados para poder subir bien mis nuevas botas burdeos. No tenía ningunas de tacón de este estilo por encima de la rodilla y cuando vi estas me gustaron bastante. Además estaban rebajadas al 50%, así que me las llevé también para combinarlas con mi bolso en el mismo tono.

Aún no he podido recuperarme del jetlag pero os informo de que estoy preparando un vídeo muy divertido con todos los planes que hemos hecho en NY y los mejores sitios a visitar y ver.

Morning Monday!

Last post on my blog about my last trip to New York. I had to show you a more modern and casual look, and I got it with this pretty rocker style leather. We took all these photos at the corner of Central Park South, just in front of our hotel.

One of the stores in which I bought more things was in Ralph Lauren of the 5th Avenue and I loved many items from the new collection. I bought basic things like sweatshirts and tees that I will be showing you in the coming posts but today I show you 2 of them on this post. I’m wearing a white tee man collection (it does not seem right? you know that I love to buy guy clothes hehe), and a gray sweatshirt from the new collection too with colorful stains. Under I chose a black skinny jeans to can try on perfectly my new burgundy high knee boots. I had no heel booties like this style above the knee and when I saw these ones I loved them. Besides they had a discount of 50%, so I took them to combine with my daily clothes. Today matching with my fav bag in the same color.

I have not been able to recover from the jet lag yet but I inform you that I am preparing a very fun video with Bea to tell you all the plans that we have done in NY and the best places to visit and see.

Domingo y de vuelta en Madrid… aunque tengo que reconoceros que sigo con un jetlag impresionante. Espero volver a acostumbrarme de nuevo a este horario ya mañana.

Que por cierto, como sabéis estoy muy concienciada con lo de ponerme en forma y llevar un estilo de vida más saludable así que mañana vuelvo a mis clases de yoga y pilates a las 9am, ¡qué ganas!

Os quería enseñar en este post una de las calles del que es para mi sin duda uno de los barrios más bonitos de Nueva York: Soho. En él además de encontrar casa más bajas (4 o 5 plantas com mucho, no infinitos pisos con en el centro) encontraréis las tiendas más conocidas a nivel mundial y cómo no la tienda de las Kardashian: Dash. Bea se pasó todo el viaje pidiéndome ir a la tienda y al final lo hicimos en el último momento y la verdad es que merece la pena visitarla.

Para otro día cómodo de viajes en metro, turismo y fotos opté de nuevo por unos pantalones negros ajustados, mis botas de pelo y una de mis últimas adquisiciones: esta sudadera gris con letras en negro. La verdad es que ahora que he vuelto a casa me he dado cuenta de que lo que más he comprado en el viaje son sudaderas, haha, será por eso de que estoy volviendo a los básicos y a un estilo sencillo y cómodo ante todo…

Bueno, voy a seguir editando fotos y preparando los posts de estos días.

Sunday and back in Madrid again… although I have to admit that I’m still fighting with my jet lag. Hopefully tomorrow I will finally get used again to this schedule.

By the way, as you know I am step by step very concerned with a healthier lifestyle so tomorrow I will go back to my yoga and pilates classes at 9am, can’t wait!

I wanted to show you in this post one of the streets which at least for me is definitely one of the nicest neighborhoods in New York: Soho. In this area you will find cool buildings (with 4 or 5 floors, not infinite floors like in the center) and you will find the top international brands and of course the Kardashian’s store: Dash. Bea spent the entire trip asking me to go to the store and finally we did it at the last minute and it is really worth visiting.

For another comfortable day by metro, tourism and photos I opted again for a skinny black jeans, my warmest black booties and one of my latest acquisitions: this gray sweatshirt with black letters. The truth is that I don’t really know why but now that I’m home I have realized that I’ve bought on this trip many sweatshirts, haha, is probably because I’m going back to basics and simple and comfortable style at all…

And now I will continue editing photos and preparing the posts for these coming days.

NYFW, day 3

Día 3 de la semana de la moda de Nueva York.

Este día Bea y yo asistimos a uno de los desfiles españoles que ha conseguido hacerse un hueco y posicionarse bien alto en esta pasarela: Custo.

La colección que nos proponen para el año que viene es muy colorida, típico de la marca, pero a mi lo que más me gustó especialmente es el terciopelo de colores y el ante. Los botines de tacón medio también me llamaron mucho la atención.

El front row del desfile estaba repleto de bloggers e influencers españoles. Yo estaba sentada con Inés Arroyo y Nina Urgell. Al lado también se encontraban Fiona Ferrer, Mónica de Tomás o Diego Osorio entre otros. Es muy divertido estar a tantos kilómetros de casa y encontrarnos todos aquí.

Tenía tantas ganas de estrenar este pantalón que por cierto es de nueva temporada, de ahora mismo vaya, que no me he podido resistir a llevarlo estos días. Al desfile evidentemente íbamos del hotel al desfile en taxi y vuelta. Son de cuello alto con cremallera central y luego de largo midi pero de campana, por lo que hacen efecto de falda. ¡Me encantan! Arriba llevo un jersey en blanco roto de cashmere y luego cómo no mis zapatos bicolor que creo que combinaban bastante bien con el resto del look bicolor.

Mañana por la tarde ya volaré de vuelta a Madrid así que me voy a disfrutar de mi último día por la Gran Manzana.

Day 3 of the New York fashion week.

This day Bea and me attended to one of the Spanish fashion shows most awaited that has carved a good high position on this american catwalk: Custo.

The collection that they propose us for the next fall is very colorful, something typical of the brand, but what I liked especially was the colorful velvet and suede. Medium heel booties also caught my attention, very stylish and comfy.

The front row of the show was full of Spanish bloggers and influencers. I was sitting with Inés Arroyo and Nina Urgell. Close to us were Fiona Ferrer, Mónica de Tomás and Diego Osorio between others. It is very fun to be so far away from home and find them all here.

I couldn’t wait anymore to wear for the first time these super cool pants from the new season. Obviously we were going to the hotel to the show by taxi and come back. They are high waisted with a zip in the middle and then midi style but flared, so the effect is like a skirt. I do love them! On top I was wearing a cashmere sweater in off white, then of course my color blocked slingback that I think that combined perfectly with the rest of the two-tone outfit.

Tomorrow afternoon I’ll fly back to Madrid so I’m going to enjoy my last day here in The Big Apple.
