Probablemente mi calle favorita de LA es Melrose Avenue. Siempre suelo vivir cerca de esta calle porque es donde se encuentran mis restaurantes favoritos, tiendas, mi agencia, etc. Por eso pasear por aquí es uno de los planes que más me gusta hacer ya que no me siento tan lejos de Europa al ser de las zonas más transitadas.

Ya os he contado otras veces que esto es realmente un desierto, muy diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados los europeos. Sólo hay casas y fábricas pero no sales a la calle nunca y ves a miles de personas, tiendas, restaurantes… en definitiva, ocio. Qué va. Aquí hay que coger el coche para todo y lo que suele hacer la gente es ir a grandes centros comerciales donde encuentran todo junto: tiendas, restaurantes y supermercados.

Aún así me gusta porque cada día descubro nuevas localizaciones para hacer fotos y enseñároslas y además me acompañan siempre alguno de mis amigos de aquí, con lo que los días se hacen mucho más llevaderos.

Esta noche (que será jueves por la mañana en Europa) publicaré nuevo vídeo que llevo dos días grabando y editando… ¡espero que os guste o al menos que se valore el esfuerzo que hay detrás!

Me voy a mi clase de boxeo que es lo que me hace comenzar el día con energía… ya que he dormido 4h solo hoy y ya nos hemos levantando con algún problema…

Probably my favorite LA street is Melrose Avenue. I always use to live near this street because it is where my favorite restaurants, shops, my agency, etc. are located. So walking around this area is one of the plans that I like most to do here since I do not feel so far from Europe when I’m in places with many people.

I have told you other times that this is really a desert, very different from what we are used to in Europe. There are only thousands of houses and factories but you never go out on the street and you see thousands of people, shops, restaurants… No way. Here you have to take the car for everything and what people usually do is go to big shopping centers where they find everything in the same place: shops, restaurants and supermarkets.

I still like it because every day I discover new locations to take pictures and show them to you and also some of my friends are always with me, so the days are much more bearable that way.

Tonight (which will be Thursday morning in Europe) I will publish a new video that I have been recording and editing for two days… I hope you like it or at least appreciate the effort behind it!

I’m going to my boxing class now which is what makes me start the day with a lot of energy… since I’ve slept only 4 hours today and I’m still a little bit sick… but let’s do it!

LA diary: Lucky Brand

Una de las cosas que más me gusta de viajar aparte de enriquecerme con personas nuevas y con lo que voy aprendiendo de ellos, es poder descubrir también nuevas marcas y productos que me encantan, y enseñároslos.

Es el caso de Lucky Brand, que sinceramente es una marca de la que no tenía nada hasta ahora. Es muy conocida en Estados Unidos y he tenido la suerte de poder trabajar con ellos muy de cerca incluso con la CEO de la marca (en el centro de la foto con mi amiga Maja).

Os iré enseñando todas las cosas que he escogido en próximos posts y fotos pero ya visteis la cazadora que llevo en estas imágenes, gris vaquera con el slogan “heart breaker”. Ya sabéis que me encantan las prendas que tienen mensajes claros, directos y con los que me siento identificada.

Como seguimos disfrutando de unos días de calor increíbles por California, escogí para este evento de showroom más comida mexicana, que por cierto estaba exquisita, unos short blancos combinados con burdeos. El top es de mis favoritos y ¡es de esta temporada chicas! Semitransparente y con estrellas en terciopelo se puede llevar tanto a diario con un look más casual como este o para salir por la noche con negro y taconazo. Las sandalias también son de otra colaboración con Revolve, y me encantan por el color, el tejido de terciopelo con lazadas y también porque el tacón medio me permite llevarlas todo el día puestas.

Y ya estamos en Palm Springs disfrutando de las vistas y del precioso hotel Ritz Carlton. Os contaré más historias y detalles muy interesantes de los que me estoy enterando la semana que viene.

One of the things that I like most when traveling apart from meeting other people and learn new things from them is to also have the opportunity to discover new brands and products that I really love, and show them to you.

This is the case of Lucky Brand, which is a brand that I have never used before. It is well known in the United States and I have been fortunate to work with them so closely, even with the CEO of the company (in the center of the photo with my friend Maja).

I will be showing you all the things that I have chosen in future posts and photos but as you saw last week on my medias the jacket I’m wearing in these pics, gray denim jacket with the slogan “heart breaker” at the back, is a really must have. You know that I love clothes with a clear, direct and positive message.

As we continue enjoying days of incredible good weather for California, I chose for this event (to try on and select new clothes and also to taste an amazing Mexican food), my white shorts combined with burgundy. The top is one of my favourites and it’s from this season girls! Semitransparent with stars in velvet you can wear it for both: a more casual daily style like this or to go out at night with black clothes and heels. These sandals are also another collaboration with Revolve brand, and I love the color, the velvet fabric with laces and also because the medium heel allows me to walk all day long.

And we just arrive to Palm Springs and we are enjoying the views and the beautiful Ritz Carlton hotel. I will tell more interesting stories and details about this area the coming week.

Milano, Sept 2015

¡Buenos días a todos!

Ya de vuelta de Milán y con muchas ganas de seguir trabajando aquí.

Hoy os traigo un post 3 en uno, porque no he parado de hacer fotos y os quería enseñar y contar todo y como me habéis pedido que os recomiende sitios y restaurantes pues aquí lo tenéis.

Como ya sabréis en este viaje he vuelto a coincidir con mi gran amigo Carlos Arnelas. La verdad es que nos lo pasamos genial juntos porque tenemos la misma actitud ante la vida: somos alegres, felices e intentamos disfrutar de todo al máximo. Es cierto que con esta actitud a veces nos toman más el pelo pero yo prefiero ir así por la vida, soy más feliz la verdad. ¡Te quiero mi amor, no cambiemos nunca!

En las primeras fotos estamos en una de las plazas más conocidas de Milán, se llama Piazza XXV Aprile (25 de Abril) y es peatonal siendo el nexo de unión de varias calles importantes de la ciudad como Corso Como o Corso Garibaldi. Por cierto, el restaurante 10 Corso Como es en el que estuve, que es como un patio interior lleno de vegetación, precioso, os lo recomiendo para entrar aunque sea a tomar un café.

En las siguientes fotos nos fuimos a la zona más comercial y de compras (si si, donde me compré mi última adquisición que me tiene loca hehe, el bolso beige de YSL). Es la Vía Montenapoleone y es la más famosa y elegante de Milán donde podréis encontrar todas las firmas más exclusivas. Aquí podéis comer en el restaurante Il Salumaio, muy típico de la ciudad y con una pasta deliciosa.

Por último (¡y tercer cambio de ropa en el mismo día! haha) fuimos a cenar a otro restaurante de pasta al que nos llevó mi amigo Alfredo, al que doy las gracias desde aquí de nuevo por habernos tratado tan bien, que se llamaba Mics. El precio es bastante más asequible y la calidad buenísima. Os recomiendo aparte de la pasta y las croquetas la patata asada con queso trufado por encima… ¡Mmmmm!

Mañana os contaré lo que hicimos el día siguiente en la presentación de la nueva colección de Jimmy Choo y el desfile de Elisabetta Franchi con todos los detalles.

Good morning my friends!

I’m back again from Milan but so happy to keep on working here in Madrid.

Today I bring you a 3 in 1 post, because I have not stopped taking pictures in Milan and I wanted to show you everything and as you have asked me to recommend you places and restaurants to visit I’ll do it now.

As I’m sure you already know in this trip I was again with my friend Carlos Arnelas. The truth is that we always spend a great time together because we have the same attitude to life: we are cheerful, happy and try to enjoy everything as much as we can. It is true that with this attitude sometimes people hurt us more easily but I’d rather go through life like this because I am happier, that’s the truth. I love you babe, never change!

In the first pictures we are in one of the most famous squares in Milan, called Piazza XXV Aprile (April 25 Square) and is a walking area being the nexus of some important city streets such as Corso Como and Corso Garibaldi. By the way, the restaurant in 10 Corso Como where we were, the one which is like a courtyard filled with greenery, it’s so lovely, I recommend you to enter even just for a coffee.

In the following photos we went to the shopping area and more commercial (oh yes, where I bought my last acquisition that has me crazy hehe, my beige YSL shoulder bag hehe). It is Via Montenapoleone and is the most famous and elegant street in Milan where you can find all the most exclusive brands. Here you can eat at the restaurant Il Salumaio, very typical of the city and with a delicious pasta.

Finally (and third change of clothes in the same day! Haha, no worries!) we went to dinner to another super cool restaurant where my friend Alfredo took us, I thank you again from here for being such a good host, called Mics. The price is quite affordable and very good quality. I recommend you apart from pasta and croquettes toy try the roasted potato with truffled cheese over… Mmmmm!

Tomorrow I’ll tell you what we did the next day in the presentation of Jimmy Choo new collection and at Elisabetta Franchi fashion show with all the details of where we were.

Xmas shopping!

Como supongo que muchos de vosotros ya visteis en mis redes sociales esta semana me he pasado por uno de los centros comerciales que más me gustan para ir de compras: Las Rozas Village (La Roca Village en Barcelona). Me gusta porque en él puedo encontrar las firmas que yo utilizo: Bimba&Lola, Loewe, Ralph Lauren, Aristocrazy, BDBA, Hoss, … y a la vez los mejores restaurantes y cines al lado. Además me encanta cómo lo han decorado especialmente para la Navidad, ¿y a vosotros?

Lo más importante de mi visita y en lo que quiero hacer especial hincapié es en el stand de la Cruz Roja. Simplemente comprando una de estas estrellas de la Navidad para nuestros árboles por una aportación mínima de 2€ ayudamos a muchos niños y adolescentes españoles que nos necesitan más que nunca.

Ya que este centro es al aire libre escogí unos jeans negros, unos botines negros también, un jersey gris de cuello vuelto y un abrigo tipo bata bicolor con gris y beige.

I’m pretty sure that many of you already saw on my social networks this week that I’ve been strolling around through one of the shopping centers that I like most to go shopping: Las Rozas Village (La Roca Village in Barcelona). I like it because I can find the signatures I use daily: Bimba & Lola, Loewe, Ralph Lauren, Aristocrazy, BDBA, Hoss, … and also the best restaurants and cinemas close. Furthermore it’s very cool decorated these days for Xmas time.

The most important thing about my visit and what I really want to give a special emphasis is on the stand of the Red Cross. Simply buying one of these stars for our Christmas trees for a minimum contribution of €2 we will help many Spanish children and adolescents who need us more than ever.

Since this center is outdoors I was wearing some black skinny jeans, a black booties, a gray turtleneck sweater and a color-block coat in gray and beige.

1001 Atmosphera

¡Hola a todos!

Muchas veces los que venís de fuera me preguntáis sitios y tiendas para visitar en Madrid que sean diferentes, algo que no se pueda encontrar fácilmente en otras ciudades. Pues en el videoshopping de hoy os quiero hablar del espacio 1001 Atmosphera.

Es un espacio multimarca situado en la calle General Pardiñas de Madrid donde podéis encontrar infinidad de corners con firmas de todo tipo: ropa, joyas, zapatos, bolsos, accesorios… ¿Qué es lo que a mí más me gusta de este espacio? Que siempre que voy me encuentro con algo diferente porque los corners van cambiando cada semana de manera que siempre veréis nuevas propuestas de nuevos diseñadores españoles. También tenéis una cafetería en la parte de arriba para tomar algo mientras vais de compras. ¿Qué os parece?

Además como podéis ver en las fotos todo está en colaboración con la revista Hola Fashion por lo que muchas veces os podréis encontrar reportajes tanto en la web como online en dicha revista de moda.

Many times you ask me about places to visit and shops in Madrid that are different, which can not be easily found in other cities. Following your orders in today’s videoshopping I want to talk to you about 1001 Atmosphera Space.

It is a multi-space located in General Pardiñas street in Madrid where you can find countless corners with firms of all kinds: clothing, jewelry, shoes, bags, accessories … What I like most about this space? That whenever I go I find something different because the corners are changing every week so that you always will see new proposals from new Spanish designers. Also you have a snack bar upstairs to take something while shopping. What do you think?

Also as you can see in the pics everything is in collaboration with Hello Fashion magazine so it is possible that many times you can find reports on the web or even on the magazine.

Introducing Antonia Martorell

¿Eres de esas que te gusta ir diferente a los demás, que te gusta ir marcando tendencia? Eso es lo que nos ofrece esta joven diseñadora mallorquina: un estilo muy fresco y colorido para una mujer que se sale de los moldes y quiere ir completamente diferente a las demás. Son diseños con las mejores telas (ante, pieles, cuero, sedas, etc.) pero con estampados llamativos, mezclas nuevas y diseños originales que no se han visto hasta ahora.

Además Antonia Martorell trabaja con la agencia de comunicación The Communication Corner y dentro de muy poco veréis en esta sección a través de Lusstra sus nuevas propuestas para este invierno.

Kate Middleton dress

El videoshopping de hoy estoy segura de que os va a gustar tanto como a mi. Hacía tiempo que andábamos detrás de un vestido de los que lleva la princesa Kate Middleton porque a mi personalmente me parece que tiene un estilo muy elegante y a la vez juvenil. Ya que estamos en verano que aparte de vacaciones es una de las épocas del año en la que más vamos a fiestas, cocktails, bodas, comuniones, etc. quería traeros un vestido que sirviese para estas ocasiones más especiales.

Como veis el vestido de hoy es exactamente el mismo que tiene la princesa. A mi me gusta todo de él: el corte por debajo de la rodilla y las mangas por el codo que dan un toque muy chic, el tejido que es ajustado para adaptarse a cualquier cuerpo, el cuello con corte recto que favorece el escote y cómo no el color blanco con este estampado floral en azul klein y negro. Como quería que el vestido se llevase todo el protagonismo del look escogí como complementos estas pulseras en el mismo azul y unos tacones en los mismos tonos azul y negro.

¿Qué os parece mi propuesta de hoy? ¿Os gusta este vestido que tiene la mismísima princesa Kate?

I’m really sure that you are going to like today’s videoshopping as much as me. Since some months ago we were looking for a dress that Princess Kate Middleton wore because I personally think that she has a very elegant style and youthful. Since it’s summer time and apart is one of the times of year when we more go to parties, cocktails, weddings, communions, etc. I wanted to bring you a dress that you can use for these special occasions.

As you can see in the pics today’s dress is exactly the same as the princess’s. I like everything about it: the cut below the knee and sleeves elbow that give a very chic touch, the cloth that is adjusted and fit well in any body, the neck straight cut that favors the neckline and how not the white color with the black and klein blue floral print. I wanted to highlight the dress so I opted for complements in the same colors: these bracelets and a pair of heels with a tie on top.

LBD as a must

Ya sabemos todos que los LBD son un must en cualquier armario. El problema está en encontrar uno que nos siente bien y eso ya no e s tarea tan fácil…

Por eso mi propuesta en el videoshopping de hoy es este Little Black Dress pero que no es ajustado en las zonas más “problemáticas” sino que es suelto tanto en el escote como en la cintura. Yo hoy lo llevo con un cinturón fino en la cintura para que me quedase más suelto, con un bolso maxi en negro y con unos tacones en azul marino con lazo negro. Como sabéis que soy muy sencilla y no soy muy de joyas he optado por ponerme simplemente un colgante y un reloj de pulsera.

We all know that a LBD is a must in any closet. The problem is finding one that fit us right and that’s not so easy to find…

So my proposal in today’s videoshopping is this Little Black Dress which doesn’t have the problem of other that are very slim, this model is width in both the neck and the waist. Today I wear it with a thin belt at the waist, a maxi bag in black and a navy blue heels with a black tie. As you know I’m very simple and I don’t use to wear jewelry so I just chose this little necklace and a bracelet watch.

Oversize shirt

Las camisas XL o camisas oversize se han ido convirtiendo poco a poco en una prenda indispensable de cualquier temporada. Estoy segura de que vosotras al igual que yo también las combináis con cualquier conjunto de vuestro armario: desde un pantalón más arreglado para ir a trabajar, hasta una falda con tacones de noche o unos shorts vaqueros para un día más informal.

En el videoshopping de hoy os muestro algunas de las camisas que he seleccionado porque pienso que son más fáciles de combinar con todo y os doy algunas ideas de cómo podéis llevarlas. ¿Qué os parece a vosotras esta prenda que sienta bien en cualquier cuerpo?

The XL shirts or oversize shirts have been slowly becoming an indispensable cloth for any season. I’m pretty sure that like me you also combine yours with any outfit from your closet: from a pair of suit pants to go to work, to a black skirt with heels or denim shorts for a more casual day.

Comfy flats

Videoshopping muy cómodo y colorido el de esta semana con estas bailarinas completamente flexibles que podéis encontrar en los colores más veraniegos. Ya sabéis que las bailarinas son mi calzado favorito por excelencia tanto en verano como en invierno y estas perforadas hacen que transpire mejor el pie aparte de que la red les da un toque muy original y moderno. También incorporan el ser completamente flexibles así que los bordes ni hacen rozaduras ni dejan marca, esto es un nuevo diseño que ya se lleva mucho en Estados Unidos. Yo que ya las he probado en varios colores os puedo asegurar que son muy cómodas y de alta calidad además de que el precio es mucho más asequible que el de otras bailarinas del mismo estilo. Y para las menos atrevidas que no os veis con el modelo de red tenéis otros modelos más clásicos en piel como podéis ver en el vídeo.

Videoshopping very comfy and colorful this week with these flexible flats that you can find in many summer colors. You know that these kinda flats are my favorite shoes for my day a day in both summer and winter seasons and these perforated ones make me feel very comfy. They give to each look a very original and modern touch. Also they incorporate fully flexible design so they don’t leave marks or scratches, this is a new design that is becoming very popular in the United States. I’ve tried these models and in different colors and I can assure you they are very comfortable and high quality but furthermore the price is much more affordable than other flats of the same style. But for the one of you that don’t find this perforated model matching so much with your style you can choose the leather ones as you can see on the video which is a more classic model.
