Stopover in Madrid

Paradita en Madrid por un par de días antes de volver a París para la semana de la moda de aquí… ¡Con lo que me gusta a mi dormir en mi casita! hehe.

La verdad es que cuanto más viajo más me gusta volver a Madrid y más echo de menos mi casa, a mi familia, a mis amigos… Pero bueno, ahora en París estoy también con buenas amigas de toda la vida así que no me puedo quejar.

Estas fotos son de uno de mis días en Madrid. Casual y cómoda. Faldita corta vaquera con camisa con detalles de pequeñas flores y mis nuevas deportivas que os enseñé en el último vídeo de ropa de mi canal. Un look muy sencillo para un día de carreras por la ciudad.

Y parece que me he traído el buen tiempo de España porque hace un calor increíble estos días por la capital francesa. De hecho anoche salí a cenar a un restaurante de sushi al lado de Place Vendôme y fui caminando tanto a la ida como a la vuelta.

Hoy nuevo día soleado en París y me voy ya a prepararme para el desfile de hoy. ¡Estad atentos a mi Stories!

Stopover in Madrid for a couple of days before coming back to Paris for the Fashion Week here… But how much I miss to sleep in my bed! hehe.

The truth is that the more I travel the more I like to come back to Madrid and the more I miss my home, my family, my friends… But hey, now in Paris I am also with very good friends so I’m very happy here too.

These photos are from one of my last days in Madrid. Casual and comfortable. I’m wearing a denim mini skirt with a shirt with small flowers details and my new pink/nude sneakers that I showed on my last clothing video of my tv channel. A simple look for a busy day around the city.

And it seems that I have brought the good weather of Spain with me because these incredibly hot days in the French capital are really incredible. In fact last night I went to have dinner at a sushi restaurant next to Place Vendome, and I walked all the way long and then back home.

Today again is sunny day in Paris and I’m already getting ready for today’s shows. Stay tuned to my Stories!

¡Buenos días familia!

¿Cómo van vuestras vacaciones? Espero que estéis pudiendo disfrutar y descansar tanto como yo.

Pero aunque esté de vacaciones ya sabéis que no desconecto del todo, ni por vosotros ni por mí misma que me gusta seguir siempre en contacto con todos vosotros y enseñándoos y contándoos nuevas historias.

Como seguramente muchos de vosotros oísteis ayer en mi Instagram Stories, muchas de las marcas con las que colaboro me envían también la ropa aquí, por lo que estos días os iré enseñando ropa nueva que me encanta.

Además he preparado varios vídeos que subiré en cuanto vuelva a Madrid.

Y como dije anoche, cuando una puerta se cierra, una ventana se abre. Esto es un hecho y se cumple siempre. Lo único que tenemos que hacer es no quedarnos mirando la puerta cerrada y buscar la ventana que se ha abierto… Estoy muy contenta chicos porque estas semanas me han venido muy bien para centrarme para el nuevo “curso” que empieza ahora en Septiembre y viene cargado de nuevos proyectos y aventuras que estoy deseando contaros y compartir con vosotros.

Me despido por hoy con esta falda mini de rayas que combiné con un crop top blanco y mis sandalias plateadas para salir de fiesta el otro día por Marbella.

Good morning family!

How are you? Hope you are enjoying your holidays as much as me!

But while I’m on holidays you know that I never disconnected at all, for you but also for myself that I always like to keep in touch with you all and telling you and showing you new stories.

As I am pretty sure many of you would have seen yesterday in my Instagram Stories that many of the brands that I collaborate with also have sent me clothes here, so these days I will be showing you new clothes that I love.

I have also prepared some fun videos that I will share as soon as I return to Madrid.

And as I said last night, when one door closes, a window opens. This is a fact and this is always true. All we have to do is not stay in front of the closed door and to find that open window… I’m very happy guys because these weeks I have had real time for me to focus on the new “course” that now begins in September and it comes full of new projects and adventures that I can not wait to tell and share with you all guys!

¡Buenos días chicos!

Hoy os saludo desde la Costa Brava donde estoy disfrutando de unos días en esta bonita zona.

Son medio “vacaciones” porque ya sabéis que para bien o para mal nunca puedo desconectar del todo, pero bueno, yo me lo paso genial de todas formas.

¿Y qué es una de las cosas que más valoramos durante el año y también en verano? El tiempo. Para mí ahorrar tiempo en todo lo que puedo es fundamental. Por eso ya sabéis que en el momento de la ducha intento aplicarme todas las cremas que puedo para no perder más tiempo después.

Este verano he descubierto unos productos que creo que os van a encantar tanto como a mí. Son los nuevos aceites hidratantes para el cuerpo de Natural Honey. ¿Lo mejor de todo? Que se aplican debajo de la ducha y listo. No tenemos que aplicarnos nada después, simplemente secarnos con la toalla. Además hay tres modelos diferentes: aceite de argán, de coco y de rosa de mosqueta. Este tercero es mi favorito porque me encanta el olor y además la rosa de mosqueta protege mucho la piel y ayuda a cicatrizar mejor, reparar la piel, etc. Yo ya uso productos con este componente desde hace años.

Así que mi piel tan morenita e hidratada este verano se debe en gran parte a este nuevo descubrimiento. ¿Los conocíais?

Estas fotos las hicimos en el pequeño puerto de Platja D’Aro, la primera zona que hemos visitado. Me encanta este look por cierto, con crop top blanco, shorts grises y camisa de rayas oversize.

Hello Guys!

I’m currently at Costa Brava where I am enjoying a few days in this beautiful area in the South east of Spain.

They are half “vacation” because you know that I can never disconnect from my work at all, but I always enjoy everything anyway.

And what is one of the things that we most value during the year and specially in summer time? Time. For me to save time in all I can is fundamental. So I always try to win time when I’m under the shower applying all the creams I can to avoid losing more time later.

This summer I have discovered a few products that I think you’ll love as much as me. They are the new moisturizing body oils from Natural Honey. The best of all? You can apply them under the shower and you are ready. We don’t need to apply anything else after, just dry off with a towel. In addition to this there are three different models: organ oil, coconut and rose hips. This third one is my favorite because I love the smell and also rose hips protects so much our skin and helps to heal better, skin repair, etc. I already have used this component in other products since many years ago.

So my hydrated and perfect tanned skin this summer is due in part to this new discovery. Did you know them?

I took this pics in the small and cool port of Platja d’Aro, the first area we have visited.And I like so much this look, it is completely my style: white crop top, dark gray shorts and a striped shirt oversized.

Mykonos, day 2

Despertarme un nuevo día en este paraíso…

Estas son la piscina y las vistas que tiene la villa en la que nos estamos quedando. Me tiro horas sentada en estas rocas mirando el mar… ya sabéis que es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer cuando tengo tiempo porque me da mucha paz interior y calma.

Sigo con otro look en tonos azules que es lo que me había planteado para este viaje para ir a juego con la isla. Hoy llevo un body de estampado étnico en tonos azules, blancos y verdes. Este no es tan ajustado como otros por lo que sí se puede adaptar más a cualquier cuerpo. Y por fin he estrenado mis shorts plateados que sabéis que tengo desde hace varios meses. Me pareció la ocasión perfecta hacerlo con mis nuevas bailarinas también plateadas con estrellas.

Y ayer por la tarde fuimos a uno de los restaurantes más conocidos de la isla, Alemagou, desde donde pudimos disfrutar de una preciosa puesta de sol y unos exquisitos cocktails y cena. Os lo recomiendo si tenéis pensado pasar por aquí.

Nueva sesión de fitness + yoga ahora, que son las 7:30 de la mañana, así que me despido ya por hoy chicos. Recordad que os voy contando todo en directo en mi Snapchat: itgirlmarta.

To wake up one more day in this beautiful island…

These are the pool and the views that we have in our villa where we are staying. I’m spending hours sitting here in these rocks looking at the sea… you know it’s one of the things that I like to do when I have time because it gives me a lot of inner peace and calm.

And here you have another look in blue tones which is what I wanted to do for this trip to match the island colours. Today I’m wearing a ethnic print body in blue, white and green tones. This is not as tight as others so it can adapts more to any body. Do you like it? And I finally released my silver shorts that you know that I bought some months ago. I found the perfect opportunity to do it with my new silver flats too with little stars in red and blue.

And yesterday afternoon we went to one of the most famous restaurants on the island, Alemagou, where we could enjoy a beautiful sunset and exquisite cocktails and dinner. I recommend it to you if you have planned to stop by the island.

Como ya comentamos hace unos meses la tendencia militar sigue pisando fuerte, y a mi me encanta encontrar algunas prendas de este estilo para combinarlas con mi ropa.

Aunque cuando vi esta camiseta mi primera opción fue ponérmela con jeans negros, rápidamente pensé que estamos en verano y que mejor llevar jeans blancos esta vez. Además los rotos del pantalón dan un toque también muy moderno y desenfadado al igual que las zapatillas.

Respecto a mi frase de buenas noches de ayer chicos, me ha hecho mucha gracia que tantos de vosotros os sintieseis también identificados. Yo qué queréis que os diga, soy de esas personas que sí, lo reconozco, no tropiezo una vez ni dos con la misma piedra, sino miiiil por aquello de quedarme con la conciencia tranquila para siempre y al menos no poder decir que no lo intenté. ¿Defecto o virtud? Depende de cómo se mire y de cada situación, pero que nunca se diga que algo no salió adelante por nosotros, ¿no? hehe. Me encanta que os gusten tanto mis reflexiones y frases motivadoras que comparto cada día con vosotros.

As we talked about it a few months ago, the military trend is still getting stronger, and I love to find some pieces of this style to combine with my clothes.

Although when I first saw this t-shirt my first choice was to wear it with black jeans, I quickly thought that we are in summer time and it is better to wear it with white jeans this time. Furthermore the super ripped jeans give a very modern touch and so casual, like the color block sneakers in beige and soft pink matching the patches.

About my yesterday’s goodnight quote guys, it made me so happy that so many of you felt also identified with me. I do admit it, I am one of those people that yeah, I did not stumble once or twice with the same stone, but a thousand times just to be sure and have in my mind forever that at least I tried it, hahaha. ¿Defect or virtue? It depends on how you look at it and every situation is different, but you will never say that something didn’t worked because we didn’t even tried it, right? Jungle

Esta si que es mi primera vez en una ducha en medio de la selva… y la verdad es que la experiencia es impresionante.

Aunque no existan todavía las fotos con sonido, hehe, pero en el momento en que hicimos estas fotos había mil monos gritando a mi alrededor por las ramas de los árboles… ¡muy divertido!

Luego, para otra de nuestras cenas decidí volver a arreglarme un poco más de lo normal escogiendo esta vez un look bicolor en blanco y negro. Llevo pantalones midi blancos que ya me habéis visto el algún post y un body negro con bastante escote delantero. Ya sabéis que yo no soy mucho de llevar este tipo de escotes pero cuando vi este body la verdad es que me gustó bastante y decidí tenerlo como fondo de armario.

Este hotel es ya el tercero cuarto que visitábamos, se llama Río Celeste Hideaway, y está como podéis ver literalmente en el medio de la selva, rodeado de todo tipo de animales… y lo peor, insectos. Reconozco que con lo que peor lo he pasado en este viaje es con los “bichitos” tipo hormigas, mosquitos, arañas, escorpiones… La verdad es que mi relación con los insectos es bastante fría hahaha.

Ahora mismo estamos ya en el aeropuerto de San José y en un par de horas sale el vuelvo de vuelta a Madrid. Aún así seguiré estos días contadoos más cositas y enseñandoos más fotos de este viaje que hemos podido disfrutar gracias a Viva Tours.

This is for sure my very first time in a shower in the middle of the jungle… and the truth is that it was an amazing experience guys. Have you ever tried?

Although it doesn’t exist yet pictures with sound, hehe, at this moment when we took these pictures there were a thousand monkeys screaming around me through the branches of the trees… fun but scared!

Then, for another of our dinners I decided to dress more classy and stylish than during the day and this time I chose again a color blocked look in black and white. I was wearing midi pants in white that you’ve already seen me in another post and a black body with super front neckline. You know I’m not use to wear that necklines because it is not really my style but when I saw this body the truth is that I really liked it and decided to have it in my wardrobe to wear it from time to time.

This hotel is already the third or fourth we visited, called Rio Celeste Hideaway, and as you can see it is literally in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by all kinds of animals… and the worst, insects. I do admit that I the worst part for me of about this travel were the insects of any kind: ants, mosquitoes, spiders, scorpions… The truth is that my relationship with insects is pretty bad hahaha.

Right now we are at San Jose airport and in a couple of hours we will take off back to Madrid. But I will still continue showing you and telling you more histories about this trip that we have enjoyed thanks to Viva Tours.

Viernes de nuevo y eso significa que tengo que hacer ya las maletas para mi próximo viaje… Me encanta viajar es verdad, pero reconozco que odio hacer y deshacer maletas…

Estoy deseando que llegue el lunes para poder contaros a dónde voy y empezar a enseñaros fotos y lugares preciosos.

Último look de la semana y es que necesitaba enseñaros ya mis nuevos jeans pitillo en gris clarito. ¡Me encantan! Y me gusta volver a escoger un estilismo bicolor, en este caso con nude/beige, para combinarlos.

Y hoy vuelvo a levantarme contenta y orgullosa por un nuevo vídeo que os he preparado en mi canal y que os dejo aquí también donde os cuento mis trucos y consejos cuando me voy de viaje. ¿Cuáles son los vuestros? ¿Y qué recomendaciones o sugerencias tenéis?

Friday again and that means that I have already to pack for my next trip… I love traveling it is true, but I do admit that I absolutely hate packing and unpacking suitcases…

I just can’t wait until Monday to tell you where I’m going this time and start showing you pictures and beautiful places.

So this is the last look of the week and I needed to show you my new skinny jeans in light gray. I love them! And I like to go back to a color block styling, in this case with nude/beige, to combine them.

Unexpected

La vida es una cuestión de actitud… ¿o no?

Creo que todo puede cambiar completamente según miremos las cosas desde un punto de vista más positivo, viendo la botella medio llena.

Personalmente una de las cosas que más me gustan de mi vida son las cosas que no me espero, lo que sucede inesperadamente. Ya sea bueno o malo, de lo malo aprendo y lo bueno lo disfruto al máximo. Creo que esa cierta incertidumbre por no saber qué va a pasar con una situación determinada, por no saber qué nuevos proyectos me llegarán cada día, a quién conoceré y se convertirá en parte de mi vida… eso es lo que me mantiene viva y feliz.

Dicho esto ya estamos a Viernes y aunque ha sido una semana larga e intensa parece que el finde voy a poder disfrutar un poquito de cosas que me gustan. Como sabéis no me fui al final a Marbella porque iba a hacer mal tiempo y he preferido trabajar desde Madrid antes de irme a las Américas de nuevo el lunes que viene, día 9. Así que este finde lo voy a pasar con mis amigos y mañana a los que estéis por el Master de tenis me encantará conoceros.

Life is attitude… don’t you think so?

I think everything can completely change depending on the way we look at things from a more positive view, seeing the glass half full. It all depends on our attitude.

Personally one of the things I like most about my life are things that I do not expect, what happens unexpectedly. Whatever happen to us, good or bad, you can learn from the bad things and enjoy the good ones. I think that not knowing what will happen to us, what will happen with a particular situation, what new projects will arrive every day, who we will know and become part of our lives… that’s what keeps us alive and happy.

Said this, it is already Friday and although it has been a long and intense week it seems that I will enjoy weekend and will be able to enjoy some things that I really like. As you know finally I din’t went to Marbella because it would be bad weather and I preferred to work from Madrid, from home, before going to the Americas again next Monday, the 9th. So this weekend I’ll spend with my friends and tomorrow I will be happy to meet the ones of you that will be by the Master of tennis here in Madrid, come to say hi!

Monday again…

Estoy segura de que vosotros también sois de los que pensáis que las “desgracias” nunca vienen solas…

Y lo pongo entre comillas porque en realidad las cosas malas que nos pasan no son nada en comparación con lo que viven otras personas, pero es cierto que para nosotros en el momento si que son una faena.

Como sabéis llevo ya casi 2 semanas liada y prácticamente viviendo en la tienda de Apple de Madrid con problemas con mi antiguo ordenador y también con el nuevo… pero parece que por fin está todo solucionado. Eso sí, a empezar de nuevo de cero a crear mails, contraseñas, y a poner el ordenador como lo tenía, esto es lo que más me molesta.

En fin, si ya lo dice claramente la Ley de Murphy que se basa en el principio básico de que “si algo puede salir mal, saldrá mal”, y así es.

Por eso siento no haber podido publicar ayer un vídeo que me había costado grabar ¡horas!, sobre mis productos de belleza diarios, pero bueno intentaré repetirlo en cuanto pueda. Y os dejo por fin el post de hoy con uno de los looks que he fotografiado este finde. Mi estilo favorito: casual y cómodo.

I am sure that you are also those who think that the “misfortunes” never come alone…

And I put it between quotation marks because actually the real bad things don’t happen to us are compared to what other people reality nowadays, but it is true that for us at that time it’s a real problem.

As you know I’ve been for two weeks without my computer and almost living in the Apple store of Madrid with problems with my old computer and the new one… but it seems that finally everything is solved. Of course it is so much work to do now to start again creating my mails, passwords, and to put the computer as I had it, this is what bothers me more.

Anyway, as Murphy’s Law says, life is based on the basic principle that “if something can go wrong it will go wrong”, and I absolutely agree with this law.

So I’m sorry I could not post a video yesterday that had cost me hours to record it and it was about my beauty products, but I will try to do it again whenever I can. And finally I show you today’s post with one of the looks that I have photographed this weekend. Casual and comfortable and is like it, my favorite style.

Upside down

Así terminé mi día de ayer, boca abajo.

Y es que muchas veces es necesario justamente eso: dar la vuelta a nuestro mundo, ponerlo todo del revés; plantarnos y decir hasta aquí hemos llegado; ver todo desde otra perspectiva, desde otro punto de vista diferente al que lo hacemos siempre; salir de nuestra zona de comfort, y explorar otros horizontes; saber decir NO y apostar por nuevos sueños, por nuevos proyectos.

Todo esto nos sirve para darnos cuenta de que para alcanzar la felicidad no hay un sólo camino, hay millones. Que no existe una verdad universal o una única forma de ver las cosas, sino mil. Que muchas veces nos empeñamos en algo que sabemos no y estamos perdiendo otras oportunidades que nos da la vida. Que no todo es blanco ni negro, aunque sean mis colores favoritos, sino que hay infinidad de tonos entre medias. Que hay gente que pasa por nuestras vidas y que luego salen, pero no pasa nada. De todo se aprende y todo TODO sucede por algo. Para que aprendamos, para que mejoremos, para que seamos felices, para que suframos y salgamos reforzados… o para que volvamos a cometer el mismo error pero lo más importante es SIEMPRE volver a levantarnos. Eso sí, los que se quedan en nuestras vidas que sólo sumen, y que nosotros les sumemos a ellos.

En fin, me encanta ir a yoga, que sabéis que es uno de mis propósitos de este año, para poder conocerme un poco más a mí misma. Para saber lo importante que es estar en equilibrio por dentro. Para irme a dormir con la conciencia tranquila y en paz.

Os dejo este look que hice le fin de semana cuando evidentemente las temperaturas eran más altas y no era un día lluvioso como hoy… ¡Cómo no vamos a acabar todos locos si hasta el tiempo lo está! Eso sí, qué bonito es estar loco y andar suelto.. Vivir en esa locura quizá sea la única forma de entender este mundo…

So I finished yesterday upside down.

And I really it is really necessary to sometimes do that: to turn our world upside down; to say ‘I have come until here, no more’; to see everything from another perspective, from a different point of view that we always do; to go out of our comfort zone and explore new horizons; to learn how to say NO and to follow new dreams, new projects.

All this helps us to realize that for happiness there is not only one way, there are millions. There is not only a universal truth or a unique way of seeing things, there are thousands. Often we focus on something that we know that is imposible while we are losing other opportunities that our life gives us. Nothing is white or black, even when they are my favorite colors, but there are plenty of shades in between. There are people who go through our lives and then leave, but this is not a bad thing. In the end we learn from everything, and remember that everything happens for a reason. To learn, to then improve so that we can be happy again and to avoid that situations happen to us one more time… or to make a mistake again, don’t worry, the really important thing is to wake up ALWAYS. And those who stay in our lives only to make us happy, and we do the same to them.

Anyway, I really love and need to go to yoga, you know that is one of my goals for this year, to try to know a little bit more myself. To find out how important it is to be balanced inside. To go to sleep with a clear mind and in peace.

I show you today this look that I took during the weekend when weather was obviously better and it was not a rainy day like today… How can not we go crazy if even the weather is! Yes, how nice is to be crazy and be free… Living in this madness is perhaps the only way to understand this world…
