Nadie nace con suerte. La suerte uno se la gana con trabajo constante y diario. Sin embargo sí pienso que una mentalidad positiva y optimista atrae a cosas buenas y que todo esfuerzo acaba teniendo su recompensa tarde o temprano.

Estoy muy contenta y orgullosa de poder ver y enseñaros por fin el resultado del shooting que realicé hace un mes para la firma de lencería italiana Intimissimi y que podéis encontrar desde hoy en todas las tiendas de España. Me da mucha pena no poder estar allí para verlo en persona pero os quiero dar las gracias a todos los que me estáis enviando fotos y mensajes de apoyo y de cariño con las fotos, ¡me encantan y me encanta que os gusten!

Respecto a un único comentario “negativo” que he leído (cosa que por otra parte me ha extrañado un poco, que no hubiese más críticas de los queridos “haters”) quiero decir que estoy muy orgullosa de haber hecho esta campaña porque me gusta que las marcas por fin se fijen en gente NORMAL para sus campañas. Ni mucho menos soy Irina Shayk, está clarísimo, pero es que tampoco pretendo serlo. Ella es una modelo más alta, con un cuerpo mejor que el mío para posar en ropa interior y mucho más guapa para según quién, y me alegro mucho por ella, pero yo soy Marta Carriedo, y como todos también tengo mis virtudes. Desde que comencé mi blog os dije que lo hacía porque me encanta la moda y viajar y quería enseñaros mi estilo de vida, para que los que se sientan identificados con mi forma de pensar y de ver la vida, lo sigan. No pretendo ser la chica más guapa, más alta, más nada del mundo. No quiero vamos. Soy una chica normal y simplemente quiero demostrar que haciendo las cosas bien y respetando siempre a los demás, también podemos cumplir nuestros objetivos. Por eso estoy especialmente contenta y orgullosa con esta campaña porque creo que la marca se fijó en mi por ser una chica normal y alegre con la que mucha más gente se puede sentir identificada que con una modelo “perfecta”.

Me da especial rabia y coraje que se nos echen en cara en la vida las cosas que hacemos mal pero que cuando hacemos algo bien, o nos sentimos más guapos que otros días, o estamos orgullosos por lo que sea que hayamos logrado, no podamos decirlo en alto. ¿Estamos locos o qué? Estas son las cosas que más hay que celebrar y que comentar con los demás ya que nos ayudan a valorarnos y querernos más.

Dicho esto, quería añadir también que acepté este trabajo porque soy adicta a los bralettes. Nunca he llevado sujetadores con aro o con relleno porque me hacían daño al no tener mucho pecho y tampoco me gustaba engañar así que siempre he prefiero usar ropa interior de este tipo con transparencias y encajes que me parecen mucho más sexies.

Espero que os gusten las fotos tanto como a mí y que sigamos todos luchando por nuestros sueños porque el que la sigue la consigue, y gota a gota se hace el río (ya sabéis, del refranero español de toda la vida).

Una vez más, sin todo vuestro apoyo diario no estaría cumpliendo mis sueños así que MIL GRACIAS y recordad que ¡OS QUIERO MUCHO!

TEXT IN ENGLISH

Nobody is born with luck. Luck is nothing but constant and daily work. However I do think that a positive and optimistic mind attracts good things and that all effort ends up having its reward sooner or later.

I am very happy and proud to be able to see and show you finally the result of the shooting that I had a month ago for the Italian lingerie underwear brand Intimissimi. You can find from today in all the stores in Spain. I’m really sorry I can not be there to see it in person but I want to thank all of you who are sending me photos and messages of support and love with the photos, I love them all and I love that you like them too!

Regarding a single “negative” comment I have read (which, on the other hand, has surprised me a little bit, that there was no more bad comments from our beloved “haters”) I want to say that I am very proud to have done this campaign. I like that brands finally look at NORMAL people too for their campaigns. Of course Irina Shayk, is a super top model, but I do not pretend to be like her. She is taller, with a better body than mine to pose in underwear and so much prettier for many people, and I am very happy for her, but I am Marta Carriedo, and like all of us I also have my virtues. Since I started my blog I told you that I did it because I love fashion and to travel and I wanted to show you my lifestyle, so that those who feel identified with my way of thinking and seeing life, can follow me. I do not pretend to be the prettiest, tallest girl in the world. I do not want to either. I am a normal girl and I simply want to show that doing things right and always respecting others you can also fulfill your goals. That’s why I’m especially happy and proud about this amazing project because I think the brand wanted a normal and happy girl with which many people can feel identified more than with a “perfect” model.

Also I don’t like that when we do things wrong in our lives of course all the people tell us that. But when you do a good work, or you feel more handsome than other days, or you are proud of whatever you have achieved, then you can not say it out loud. Are we crazy or what? These are the things that we need to be celebrated the most as they help us to value ourselves and love ourselves more.

Said that, I also wanted to add that I also accepted this work because I am addicted to bralettes. I’ve never worn bras with a hoop or stuffing because they hurt me as I did not have much breast and I did not like to “lie” so I have always preferred to wear transparent and lace undies which I found so much more sexier.

I hope you like the photos as much as me and that we continue fighting for our dreams because the one who follows it gets it in the end, and step by step we are almost there (true story!).

Again, without all your daily support and love I would not be achieving my dreams so THANK YOU ALL and remember that I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Los que me conocéis un poco ya sabéis que no suelo salir nunca ni enseñando nada ni mucho menos en ropa interior… pero cuando me propusieron este especial shooting para la elegante firma de ropa interior La Perla con mis amigas Adri y Cris la verdad es que no pude negarme… y no puedo estar más contenta y satisfecha con el resultado. Espero que a vosotros también os guste.

Buscaban un lugar donde yo me sintiese cómoda y agusto… y qué mejor sitio que en mi propia casa, en mi entorno que es donde más “yo misma” me puedo sentir.

Escogimos varias opciones diferentes: ropa interior elegante y sexy a la vez, un body negro con bordados de flores que es sin duda una de mis piezas favoritas, un camisón blanco estilo lencero, otro azul marino que bien podría servir para una noche de fiesta, etc. ¿Cuál es vuestro favorito?

Me despido hasta el lunes donde ya estaré de nuevo en Madrid y os contaré todos los detalles de mi viaje a Nueva York. Recordad que el domingo celebraremos San Valentín en directo en Telecinco a las 22h, ¡os espero a todos!

Those of you who know me a little bit could say that I do not usually show anything of my body, and less in underwear… but when they proposed me to make this special shooting for the elegant lingerie firm La Perla with my friends Adri and Cris I really I could not refuse it… and I can not be more happy and satisfied with the result. I hope you like it too.

They wanted a place where I felt comfortable and relaxed… and what a better place to be than in my own home, in my environment which is where I most can feel “myself”, don’t you think so? So the pics were taken finally at my home.

We chose many different cool options: elegant and sexy beige lingerie, a black body with embroidered flowers which is definitely one of my favorite pieces, a white nightgown lingerie style, another navy that could perfectly serve for a night out, etc. Which one is your favorite?

And I say goodbye to you until Monday where I’ll be already back in Madrid and I will tell you all the details about my trip to New York. Remember that on Sunday night we will celebrate Valentine’s Day live on Telecinco at 22h, see you all!
